Hello and welcome to live coverage of todays Premier League encounter between West Brom and Crystal Palace. I'm Lee Gormley and I will be guiding you through all of todays action from The Hawthorns.
TEAM NEWS: West Brom winger Silvestre Varela is still out after groin surgery while midfielder Claudio Yacob is in his native Argentina because of an illness in his family. Defender Jonas Olsson is struggling with a niggling achilles injury while Ben Foster, who missed the United game through a calf complaint, has returned in goal.
TEAM NEWS: Scott Dann is still out for Palace with knee ligament damage but is expected to return in early November. This causes Neil Warnock extra problems because of Damien Delaney's suspension after being sent off against Chelsea. Midfield duo James McArthur and Stuart O'Leefe are also missing with hip and ankle injuries respectively.
West Brom almost toppled another one of the 'big' teams last week, they were leading Manchester United 2-1 at home before Daley Blind popped up with a nicely finished late equaliser. Alan Irvine's men are on a reassuring run of form, securing two wins and a draw from their last four games, as well as a League Cup victory over Hull City.
Less than 15 minutes to go until kick-off at The Hawthorns. West Brom will be very confident coming into this fixture having only lost two of their last 13 Premier League games against London sides.
It couldn't be tighter between today's sides in the Premier League table with only one point separating them. However Palace have won three of the last five meetings between the teams, losing only one of the last eight encounters in all competitions.
Warnock's men will need to be on red alert for Baggies striker Berahino. The in-form forward has scored seven goals in 10 appearances this season with six of these coming in home games. He's on his way to becoming the highest goalscoring Englishman in the league so far.
A lively first half at The Hawthorns with the away side securing a two goal advantage thanks to a well taken penalty from Jedinak just before the break after Hangeland had sent the Eagles ahead with a close range effort.
West Brom have a big task ahead of them in the second period, Warnock's defence have been extremely solid! Join me again in seven minutes for the second half of this interesting encounter!
Nothing could separate the teams today and the 2-2 result means there is still only a single point between them in the table. West Brom now have a League Cup trip to Bournemouth to look forward to while Palace will host Sunderland in their next Premier League clash. That's all we have time for today, I've been Lee Gormley and I hope to see you again next time!
A cracking game at The Hawthorns today, Neil Warnock's team looked to be heading for their first away victory of the season before Jedinak conceded a penalty in stoppage time which Berahino converted. Jedinak had scored a penalty himself in the first half after Hangeland had given Palace the lead. Substitution Anichebe bagged a controversial goal before Berahino levelled things from the spot.
