A late Denmark corner comes to naught, and the referee calls for full time!
90' +5
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a goal for Portugal! Assist by Ricardo Quaresma.
GOOOOOOOOOOAL! RONALDO! Rescued right at the end by their talisman! The cross comes in from the right via Quaresma, and Ronaldo's godly leap takes him above defender and goalkeeper to head home!
90' +3
Some ruckus right at the end, as Ronaldo leaves his foot in on a challenge with a defender, sending him to the turf. There's a coming together that the referee quickly sorts out, before booking Ronaldo for the infraction. Somehow, despite all the niggling fouls, that's the first booking of the contest.
90' +2
Cristiano Ronaldo gets yellow.
90' +1
Into the first of five added minutes here. Not a big surprise at that high stoppage time total, given the delays to tend to Denmark's injured. The hosts on the ball as we head into the final stretch.
89'
Nothing much happening out on the pitch at the moment. You get the feeling that mentally, both teams settled for a point a long time ago. The second half has been a real let down, if I'm honest.
87'
No time like the present guys. Someone needs to win this.
86'
Ricardo Quaresma, perhaps 20 minutes too late, has been brought on for Tiago. Portugal need to get the unpredictable winger on the ball as soon as possible and have him run at the defence. Thomas Kahlenberg has also replaced Eriksen for Denmark.
84'
Ricardo Quaresma enters the game and replaces Tiago.
T. Kahlenberg enters the game and replaces C. Eriksen.
The Mexican Wave has started. Proof, if anything, of the dull finish to this match. Can either side find the goal that will surely win the game at this stage? It looks unlikely at the moment.
82'
Jacobsen seems to have sustained an injury here, and for the second time today, the game is stopped to tend to a Denmark full back. He's eventually moved to the sidelines to allow the game to continue.
Minute
Description
80'
Another change here for Portugal. Off goes Danny, who only provided quality in fits and starts today. On comes Eder, who has not scored for Portugal in 13 international appearances.
78'
Éder enters the game and replaces Danny.
Joao Mario has been involved down the right since his introduction. He gets a second cross in towards Ronaldo and this time the Real Madrid man makes contact, but it's nowhere near the target.
76'
All signs point to a 0-0 at this point in time. It's just not happening for either team in the final third, or even midfield for that matter. Even the crowd have had their bubble burst lately.
74'
Bendtner, after putting in a decent battling shift in the first half, has gone completely off the radar in the second. To be fair, the service has been non-existent for him, and he's not the type to create his own shot.
72'
NARROWLY WIDE! Krohn-Dehli has been, along with Eriksen, Denmark's best attacking threat. He latches onto the ball at the top of the box but can't pick out the bottom corner, missing by millimeters!
70'
A lovely cross from the right-hand side needs a vital clearing header from Agger to take it off Ronaldo, who was lurking at the far post for the finish! Portugal need more deliveries like that.
68'
João Mário enters the game and replaces Nani.
Portugal make a long overdue change. Nani, who hasn't been at his best in this game, departs for Joao Mario. The substitute, incidentally, was brought down by Paul Pogba for Portugal's penalty in their match against France.
66'
Denmark in control of possession, as they have been for the entirety of this game. Eriksen, after a quiet start to the second half, is beginning to get more involved in that zone just outside the Portugal penalty area.
64'
This is an all-too familiar sight for fans of the Portugal national side. Their team are struggling to break down a stubborn opposition. Nani and Danny have drifted from proceedings in the second half.
62'
The second half hasn't really lived up to the often exciting standards of the first. Neither of these sides have been able to shake off the scrapping in midfield. Play not flowing at the moment.
60'
Ronaldo tries to be clever with a lobbed layoff that was intended to go right into the path of Nani. However, the defence reads it. Ronaldo has been an interesting focal point tonight, a few good layoffs and two chances to score himself.
58'
S. Poulsen enters the game and replaces N. Boilesen.
Poor Boilesen is being stretchered off here to a standing ovation from his home fans. There is some real concern here for the defender. On comes Simon Poulsen in his stead.
56'
Boilesen has been absolutely smashed by the ball right in the face. He's out cold on the pitch. That was a serious blow to the head, and the game is halted right away to get the defender some treatment.
54'
Carvalho somehow steers the ball from the resulting corner on target, but it flies over the bar. That looked really unpredictable. Excellent chances for both teams now to take the lead.
52'
GREAT STOP! Ronaldo latches onto a diagonal pass behind the defence and has only the keeper to beat. However, Schmeichel is quick off his line and makes himself large to save! Should have been 1-0.
50'
This result doesn't really help either team, but Portugal are the side more in need of the full three points. Group I is shaping up to be one of the most competitive of the Euro 2016 qualifying sections.
48'
One change to bring you up to speed with. Vibe wasn't always involved in the first half, and he's departed for Uffe Bech. The substitute will fill in on the right flank, and may push to support Bendtner in the front line on occasion.
46'
U. Bech enters the game and replaces L. Vibe.
Here we go again.
45'
That's the end of the first half.
43'
It seems like both sides have just run out of ideas as we approach the half time break. Portugal have been caught on two offsides in quick succession which were avoidable upon replay.
41'
The match official has been a little too foul happy here in the first half. A few promising breaks have been halted by his whistle, for dubious offences. Surprisingly, we haven't seen a card yet.
39'
A slick passing move very nearly comes off for Portugal, but the final lay off to Nani just falls flat. The Seleccao have pulled off moves like that a couple times today, it's been pleasing to watch.
37'
You just get the sense that this game is on the verge of a breakthrough. Denmark are making a late push here with half time on the horizon. Portugal just lacking some spark at the moment.
35'
Kjaer is down on the deck after taking a knock in a challenge. The game is stopped for a moment, and Olsen sends a man to warm up on the touchline just in case. Let's hope that he's ok.
33'
OFF THE POST! A great move from Denmark sees Eriksen spread the ball to the left for Krohn-Dehli, who curls a lovely effort towards the far post. He shapes it well, but it bounces off the woodwork!
31'
A smattering of half-chances throughout, but no real danger for either keeper so far in the opening half hour of this game. I'd just about give the edge to Portugal, but it's so tight out there.
29'
Decent attempt from Denmark on a free kick from their own half. Portugal's back four is completely undone as the ball floats to Vibe, but Patricio covers for his defence and makes the grab.
27'
Ronaldo turns on the afterburners to leave Agger for dead, and he clips in a great ball for Nani to attack. The Manchester United loanee flashes a header for the far corner, but can't keep it down!
25'
Denmark have dominated the ball, with almost two thirds of possession in the opening 25 minutes. However, it's been Portugal who have had the better of the chances. Not an unfamiliar tale in football.
23'
Denmark's plan of attack is clear - get crosses in from all angles to pick out Bendtner. The striker, to his credit, is doing a great job of peeling into dangerous areas, which often leads to an undersized full back covering him.
21'
HANDBALL? The cross comes in from the let flank, and Bendtner challenges for it with Eliseu. The full back goes down rather easily, and the ball appeared to hit his hand. However, the referee, perhaps harshly, penalizes the former Arsenal man for a foul.
20'
Ronaldo gets the ball on the run and has only Kjaer for company. The defender can't close down the angle in time and Ronaldo has the space for the shot, but drags it wide of the far post.
18'
Portugal know that Bendtner isn't the fastest and as such, is not likely to offer much of a threat running in behind. That's why their defensive line has pushed higher up, which has coincided with their recent resurgence.
16'
Soares sends in a looping cross that is promising, but ultimately too high, even for the thunderous leap of Ronaldo. A lot of Seleccao attacks starting to come down that right flank now.
14'
Excellent move from Portugal! Moutinho spreads it to Danny, who plays the pass right into Ronaldo. The Real Madrid man lays it back to the Zenit Saint Petersburg playmaker, who slams a shot right down the throat of Schmeichel. Portugal starting to find their feet.
12'
Ronaldo drops deep and plays the ball to Danny, who spots the run of Nani to the byline. However, the Sporting man doesn't have anyone to pick out in the area, and Schmeichel can grab from the cross.
10'
The fouls are already starting to pile up here, which isn't a surprise given the potentially treacherous conditions on hand. Really no margin for error with the ball skipping about in such an unpredictable fashion.
8'
Ronaldo races onto a clip in the box and strikes low for the far corner, but Schmeichel is all over it. Good save by the keeper, especially in keeping the rebound away from Danny. Slippery conditions on hand.
7'
Problems here already for Ronaldo, who took a blow to the shin and pulled up limping. He seems fine to continue for now, but Portugal really need him to be on song tonight.
5'
Fernando Santos, back in the dugout, has seen his team start out of sync here. It's not clicking for them with their passing sequences in midfield - which looks too narrow. Denmark on top.
3'
Good start here from Denmark, who have been playing through the middle via Eriksen. Vibe wins a free kick on the edge of the box, but Eriksen, who takes it, can only hit the wall.
1'
Here we go!
Denmark take on Portugal in Group I. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for all the action.
Nicklas Bendtner, singled out pre-match by Nani as a potential danger man, starts up top for the home side. With 24 international goals to his name, the oft-ridiculed striker does know how to bang them in for his country. He's supported by Tottenham's Christian Eriksen.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been passed fit after suffering a knee injury against France over the weekend that threatened to keep him out of this one. He plays up front with support coming in from Nani and Danny. Ricardo Carvalho also returns to the XI, partnering Pepe in defence.
Portugal need to start winning, after a shock 1-0 home defeat to Albania in September. They currently prop up Group I, though the Seleccao have played one game less than all their other opponents in that section. Portugal played against France over the weekend in a friendly, but couldn't avoid a 2-1 defeat.
Denmark took care of Armenia 2-1 in their group opener. However Albania - shaping up to be a dark horse for qualification - managed to hold then to a 1-1 draw in their next game. On paper, this is one of Denmark's toughest fixtures in the group, but you really never know which Portugal will show up.
Fernando Santos will sit in the dugout for Portugal tonight, after launching an appeal against his eight-match ban for arguing with match officials, back when he coached Greece in their round of 16 clash in the World Cup. His appeal means that the punishment has been suspended until an outcome can be achieved via the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Denmark have lost only one of their last six games at home, but there's hope for Portugal, given the fact that Morton Olsen's men have kept only three clean sheets in their last 15 games.
Portugal's recent record against Denmark is also quite impressive, with nine wins in their last 14 encounters. For that winning streak to reach 10 in 15 though, the Seleccao will need Ronaldo to be in fitness and form here at the Parken.
It's 0-0 here at the break but that's not been for a lack of chances. Portugal have tested Schmeichel, while Denmark saw the best chance of the half hit the post via Krohn-Dehli. It's all to play for in the second half. Join me for the restart shortly.
Massive win for Portugal that gets them on the board in Group I. As he has done so often for his country, Ronaldo came up with the goods when they needed him most. His terrific header gave Portugal the three points that they just about deserved, given the balance of chances.
That's all from me. I've been Keeghann Sinanan and it's been a pleasure.
