Barca have the ball down in the corner but Darder manages to win a throw for his side as his clearance hits Messi and goes out. It's the final action of the game! There is the final whistle!
90' +2
Iniesta sends a pass over the top of the defence but it is aimless and runs through to Kameni. The keeper wastes a bit of time by doing a bit of juggling with the ball but picks it up once Sandro comes in to close him down.
90' +1
We are into the first of an additional three minutes!
90'
Adriano clips a great ball into the box for Sandro but the keeper beats him to it. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, as the 19-year-old was offside when the cross was played.
89'
Iniesta looks set to pull the trigger from 25 yards but just as he goes to do so the referee blows his whistle to award the hosts a free kick for Sandro's preceding challenge on Recio.
87'
Camacho dispossesses Munir on the halfway line with a brilliant challenge and sends the ball out to Amrabat on the right. He passes inside and makes a run into the box, where he receives it back from Luis Alberto via a delightful flick. He holds off Pique and tries to move the ball onto Recio but it is intercepted!
85'
Recio enters the game and replaces J. Añor.
Time is running out for Barca! They may feel aggrieved that they are not up against 10 men for the closing stages, but in truth they've not looked like scoring all evening. Luis Enrique looks forlorn on the touchline.
83'
Weligton gets yellow.
Piqué gets yellow.
Should Weligton be off?! The Brazilian grabs Messi by the throat as the players line up for a corner and the Argentine drops to the deck. The players crowd around and Pique earns himself a yellow card for his remonstrations. Following that, the referee pulls Weligton aside but only shows him a yellow card! Lucky boy!
81'
The Blaugrana are just trying to do too much! They break at Malaga and work the ball from left to right, with Messi feeding Sandro to his right. Rather than drill it to the back post, though, the youngster passes it straight back to the Argentine who is quickly crowded out.
79'
Barca have just a little over 10 minutes in order to retain their 100% Liga record this season. Can they find a winning goal, or will Malaga hold on and earn another clean sheet at La Roselada?
Minute
Description
77'
Juanmi enters the game and replaces Samu Castillejo.
Pique rises high to get his head to a corner and almost sticks it past Kameni. The Cameroonian makes a great save, but play is pulled back for a free kick as the Spain international is adjudged to have fouled Sanchez in his attempts to connect with the delivery.
76'
That was actually the first time I have mentioned Messi in this second half! The Argentine has been miles from his best, but, in fairness, so have the rest of his team-mates. They are yet to register a shot on target!
74'
Messi dinks the ball in and it is headed to the top of the box by the Malaga defence. Alba runs onto it and has to jump in order to connect with a volley. It makes it too difficult for him to keep it down and his shot sails harmlessly over the top.
73'
Adriano enters the game and replaces Douglas Pereira.
R. Rosales gets yellow.
72'
Barca now have a free kick in an almost identical position at the other end after Sandro was brought down by Rosales. The youngster has done well there, and the Malaga man goes into the book. It was certainly a late challenge.
71'
OFF THE POST! Luis Alberto hammers the free kick from an acute angle towards the near post and the Chilean dives to his right and pushes the effort onto the frame of his goal and away. That was almost the opener!
70'
Douglas Pereira gets yellow.
69'
Douglas is caught in possession and Luis Alberto looks to drive towards the byline. In his haste to regain the ball the Brazilian scythes his opponent to ground and gives the hosts a free kick just outside the box. He also earns a yellow card for his troubles.
68'
Castillejo breaks into the area and pulls a cutback in towards Darder. It is too far behind the midfielder but it runs all the way through to Rosales, and the right-back arrows a great strike which flys a few yards wide of the target.
67'
Luis Alberto enters the game and replaces Duda.
Sandro and Munir have had bright starts to the campaign, but is it too much to ask of a pair of 19-year-olds to come on and change the game? The former, of course, did just that earlier this season with the decisive goal in the 1-0 win at Villarreal.
66'
Sandro instantly gets in behind Weligton and collects a pass on the byline. He cuts it back to the penalty spot and only finds Sanchez, who hooks it to safety.
64'
Sandro Ramírez enters the game and replaces Pedro.
M. El Haddadi enters the game and replaces Neymar.
Well, it is in fact two changes for Barca. Sandro and Munir come on for Pedro and Neymar.
63'
Douglas looks to initiate a one-two with Rakitic on the near side but the Croatian fails to return the pass, instead scuffing the ball straight to a Malaga player.
61'
First, though, Barca have a corner and Rakitic delivers it from the right. It's a quality cross and Bartra makes an equally impressive run to lose Weligton and get his head on it at the near post. He makes a clean connection but is unable to steer his attempt on target!
60'
Luis Enrique looks to be readying his first change with Munir stripped and waiting to come on. Will it be Pedro or Neymar to make way?
58'
After Amrabat brings the ball down in the box but, under pressure from Douglas and Pique, is unable to get a shot away and Barca break. They inject a bit of pace to their play on the right and Rakitic delivers a curling cross from the right. Rosales does well, though, to get a foot to the ball and send it out off Neymar for a goal kick.
57'
Alba drills another great cross in from the left but, yet again, there is no Barca shirt on the end of it. The Malaga defence were confident enough to let that one go and the decision is rewarded with a goal kick.
55'
The visitors manage to get the ball way from their own half with Neymar looking to attack on the left. He knocks it past Rosales but his touch is too heavy and he is unable to stop the ball from going out of play for a goal kick. Things just aren't clicking for Barca tonight.
53'
Once more the delivery is headed straight back out by a Barca shirt. Malaga ought to be doing their utmost to make all they can of the set pieces that are coming their way.
52'
The Blaugrana are being put under a lot of pressure early in this second half, and again the hosts win a free kick as Douglas drags Duda to ground near the halfway line. Once more the Portuguese will attempt to flight this in...
50'
Malaga have another free kick in the Barca half hear following a handball by Neymar. Duda clips it in and Pique manages to get a half-clearance on it. The ball then falls to Sanchez and he lifts a pass over the top of the defence which Douglas hooks away from danger.
47'
Pique has the ball drilled at him by a team-mate and slices his attempted clearance loose into his own half. Camacho eventually picks it up and, as he runs towards the left wing, is clipped by Pedro and wins his side a free kick. Malaga flight it into the centre but it's dealt with by the Barca defence.
46'
We are back underway at La Rosaleda!
45' +1
There is barely a second of stoppage time before the referee blows the half-time whistle!
45'
Douglas has been very tame when pushing forward tonight and clearly doesn't want to do anything wrong on his debut. Finally, he uses his space to flight in a cross from the right and puts it too far ahead of his team-mates so it goes behind for a goal kick.
43'
SO CLOSE! Alba again is the source of the danger and his driven cross between Kameni and his defence flashes across the face of goal. Messi runs in at the back post and slides in, only to see the ball fly past him before he can reach it!
42'
Alba is sent down towards the byline and cuts it back for Neymar on the left corner of the box. His shot is deflected into the path of Messi and the Argentine just about manages to control it, but his touch takes him away from goal. He attempts to shoot on the spin and is closed quickly by Sanchez who gets his body in the way of the shot.
40'
Rosales keeps the ball in play near the corner but in his attempts to clear it he inadvertently knocks it behind. Barca take it short and fail to create a decent opportunity from the set piece. Still, a very tight game as it stands.
38'
Rakitic clips a fantastic cross over the top of the defence and Messi races in behind to get on the end of it. However, the assistant referee on the far side raises his flag to signal for offside. That was an exceptionally close call!
36'
Barca have enjoyed 62% of possession tonight, but the game remains goalless. Malaga have not conceded at home this season and they don't currently look like doing so tonight! Still plenty of time for the Catalan giants to prise them open, though.
35'
Los Boquerones are defending as a real unit. When Barca move into their half with possession they get every man behind the ball and squeeze the space for their opponents. The visitors are struggling to pop short inter-linking passes around that usually see them scythe open the opposition.
33'
Messi clips the free kick into the six-yard box where Kameni leaps up to pluck it out of the sky unchallenged. The Cameroon keeper has had a rather comfortably evening so far.
31'
Pedro does superby to turn Weligton wide on the right and create space from which to cross. He dinks the ball into the area and is caught late by the Brazilian. With no advantage forthcoming, the referee pulls play back for a free kick.
29'
Duda whips a cross into the centre with Amrabat and Castillejo running in late, but the Portuguese's delivery is too close to Bravo who claims confidently.
28'
Neither goalkeeper has really been made to work as of yet this evening. Barca have seen plenty of the ball but chances have been hard to come by. The turf has been cutting up an awful lot tonight.
26'
JUST WIDE! Another great cross from Alba finds Messi in the box and the Argentine tries to nonchalantly steer it into the back of the net with his chest. He fails to turn it on target, though, and the hosts have a goal kick. Pedro claims he was pushed in the area during that move but the referee has no interest in it.
25'
Neymar dribbles inside from the left and runs into Messi, who takes the ball off him and heads to the byline. He stands a cross up at the back post but there is no Barca player on hand to add what would have been a simple finish.
24'
Messi feeds Neymar near the top of the box and the Brazilian feigns to shoot before dragging the ball back into space. He attempts to thread a diagonal pass into the box for Pedro but he puts too much power on it and the Spaniard is unable to keep it in.
23'
Following Atletico Madrid's 1-0 win over Almeria tonight, Barcelona currently sit two points clear at the summit as things stand. Victory would see them temporarily extend that to four, giving them a handy advantage over the reigning champions.
21'
That is a rather late challenge from Rosales! It is perhaps a bit cynical as Alba knocks the ball past him and looks ready to surge into the Malaga half. The right-back's boot to the knee stops him, however, and he gets away without a card.
19'
The hosts move the ball away from the left and back into the centre where Darder lets fly at goal. He doesn't strike it cleanly and skews his shot wide of Bravo's net.
18'
Malaga finally manage to get out of their own half and Amrabat uses the opportunity to float a cross in from the right. With him out wide, though, there is only Duda making a late run into the centre of the box and he arrives too late to get on the end of the ball.
17'
Alba drills in a brilliant cross to the near post which is met by Pedro as he gets in front of Weligton. The winger's connection is not strong enough to steer the ball into the far corner, though.
15'
From just over 20 yards out, Messi shoots from the free kick. The direction is good but he puts it a little too high to worry Kameni.
14'
Douglas has been playing in a very advanced position this evening and he feeds Rakitic to his left. The midfielder skips past Camacho and is caught by his opponent so the referee awards Barca a free kick in a decent position.
12'
STAT: Messi has scored three goals in his opening four Liga games, which is perhaps a bit pedestrian by the Argentine’s standards, but has assisted four. Is he changing the way he is playing to become more of a creator?
10'
Barca are already beginning to control possession and it is becoming clear that if Malaga are to threaten, they will have to do so on the counterattack. So far, though, they are defending resolutely enough to do just that.
8'
Route one football from Malaga as Kameni's drop-kick is latched onto in the box by Amrabat. Although Alba manages to keep pace with the forward and force him away from goal, the Moroccan still gets a shot away which Bravo saves comfortably.
7'
Messi comes deep and holds off a number of Malaga players before squeezing a pass through to Rakitic. The Croatian then bends a great ball into the box and Sanchez is once again positioned well to remove the threat with Neymar lurking behind.
5'
That's better from Pedro! This time he manages to drill a cross into the centre from the left wing but Sanchez is on hand to clear it out of the danger area.
4'
Taxi for Pedro! The Spain international attempts a stepover as he runs towards the byline and succeeds in tripping himself up and dropping to ground. He makes no contact with the ball and it goes out for a goal kick.
3'
Malaga win an early corner but the delivery is headed straight out of the box by a Barca head. The hosts manage to retain possession but are unable to get another delivery into the area and the Blaugrana eventually win it back and look to slow the tempo in the opening stages.

We are underway at La Rosaleda!
Hello and welcome to tonight's live commentary as mid-table Malaga host league leaders Barcelona at La Rosaleda. The Catalan giants have enjoyed a 100 per cent start to the season and, given their recent results against the Andalusian side, will be hopeful of extending that record into a fifth game. My name is Tom Webber and I will be guiding you through all the action.
The Blaugrana have won all four of their opening games to the new Liga campaign, scoring 11 and conceding none. Although Malaga have not been quite as impressive, they are still yet to ship a goal on their own turf this season. You might think that means this is shaping up to be a tight game, then, but Barca have won their previous 12 league meetings with los Boquerones. Which statistics will hold true tonight?
BARCA TEAM NEWS: Luis Enrique makes three changes to the side that thumped Levante 5-0 on Sunday, and they all come in defence. Jeremy Mathieu and Dani Alves are rested while Javier Mascherano drops to the bench. Marc Batra and Gerard Pique form the central-defensive partnership and there is a debut for Douglas, who signed from Sao Paulo in August, at right-back.
Barcelona bench: Ter Stegen, Mascherano, Adriano, Xavi, Sergi Roberto, Sandro, Munir.
You have to go all the way back to December 2003 for Malaga's last win over the Catalan giants. Xavi and Duda are the only remaining squad members from the game that saw the Andalusians run out 5-1 winners. Luis Enrique came on as a substitute in that game but will remain on the bench tonight in his new role as the Blaugrana's coach.
MALAGA TEAM NEWS: Antunes misses out with a knock so Miguel Torres fills in at left-back. The front four is completely rotated by Javi Gracia following the 2-2 draw with Espanyol, with Ricardo Horta, Luis Alberto, Juanmi and Roque Santa Cruz all making way for Samu Castillejo, Duda, Juanpi and Nordin Amrabat.
Young Barca forwards Sandro and Munir have both enjoyed bright starts to their first campaign with the first team, and they will surely be eager to make the most of every opportunity that comes their way with Luis Suarez set to return from suspension on October 25. The Uruguayan took part in a friendly against Indonesia Under-19s with Barcelona B in a bid to boost his fitness today, scoring twice.
The teams are out on the pitch, so kick off will be upon us in just a few short moments!
HALF TIME - Malaga 0-0 Barcelona: The Catalan side have controlled possession but have struggled to create opportunities against the disciplined and well-organised hosts. Los Boquerones have occasionally threatened on the break, so the game remains delicately balanced. Be sure to join me for the second half in 15 minutes!
Welcome back! The teams are making their way back out onto the pitch, so the second half will be upon us imminently.
FULL TIME - Malaga 0-0 Barcelona: The Blaugrana's 100% start to the season comes to an end as they fail to beat los Boqueneros, who are still yet to concede a goal at home this term. It means that Barca's two-point advantage evaporates with Sevilla picking up a 1-0 win, thanks to Camp Nou loanee Gerard Deulofeu's goal, over Real Sociedad to join them on 13 points.
A disappointing evening for the Blaugrana, who remain top on goal difference, but the Andalusians were exceptional. Their discipline and organisation was of the highest order and they made it incredibly difficult for their opponents.
Barca failed to register a shot on target and the best chance fell to Luis Alberto, whose free kick was pushed onto the post by Bravo. That is it from me, Tom Webber, for this evening, though. Thanks a lot for joining me!
