There is the final whistle! Juventus take all three points!
90' +3
The Rossoneri work the ball from left to right with Torres eventually curling it into the centre from the corner of the box. Pazzini looks to connect but is all other Ogbonna as he does so, and concedes a free kick.
90' +2
Milan have a chance to put the ball in the box here as Asamoah is booked for a late challenge on Torres on the near side. He had no intention of winning the ball there. He just wanted to bring the man down. De Jong takes the free kick but he fails to beat the first man! What a waste.
90' +1
K. Asamoah gets yellow.
Fernando Torres gets yellow.
We are into the first of an additional three minutes.
89'
Again, Menez goes down after a coruscating run down the the right. Pogba is the assailant, but still the referee refuses to blow his whistle!
87'
Menez claims for a penalty! The former Paris Saint-Germain forward wriggles between the defenders in the box and just as he looks to break through, he goes down. He turns to the referee but once more he simply waves for play to continue.
86'
Menez is caught in possession by Vidal and doesn't even bother to chase him down. The Chilean clips a great pass over to Pogba on the left and upon entering the box he goes down. The referee is unmoved, though.
84'
S. Muntari gets yellow.
Muntari goes into the book for a frustrated kick on Vidal as the pair contested a high ball. There was no need for that, and he certainly let his emotions get the better of him on that occasion.
83'
G. Pazzini enters the game and replaces K. Honda.
Rômulo enters the game and replaces S. Lichtsteiner.
82'
Allegri gets some fresh legs into his defence with Romulo coming on in place of Lichtsteiner. Will the Bianconeri be able to see this out for another big win at the San Siro? Inzaghi brings Pazzini on for Honda to try and stop that from happening.
Minute
Description
80'
There are just 10 minutes remaining for Milan now. The Rossoneri have offered very little in this second half and have mainly focused on trying to limit the space for Juve. They've got to change their strategy now.
78'
Lichtsteiner pushes up high on the right, receives the ball and works his way into the box. He tries to pick out Llorente at the near post but Zapata slides in to make a crucial interception.
76'
A. Vidal enters the game and replaces R. Pereyra.
Fernando Torres enters the game and replaces A. Poli.
Well, Juve make the first change with Pereyra making way for Vidal but it is an attacking move from Inzaghi! Poli is replaced by Torres for the remaining 15 or so minutes.
74'
Milan do not have long to respond now and they have Torres readied for action on the near side. Will it be Menez who makes way or will Inzaghi attempt a more positive substitution?
72'
Tevez celebrates by sucking a dummy, but it was Poli and Abate who were the real dummies there! The midfielder was too weak against Pogba while his team-mate stood idle as Tevez raced past him and into the box.
71'
C. Tevez has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by P. Pogba.
GOOOOOOAAAAL!! JUVE TAKE THE LEAD! And it comes through the middle! Pogba holds off Poli before spinning and placing a lovely through-ball into the path of Tevez. The Argentine bides his time, forcing Abbiati to ground, and despite getting a hand to it the keeper fails to stop his shot finding the back of the net!
69'
Marchisio passes into Llorente and the Spaniard, with his back to goal, attempts to flick the ball to Tevez and spin into the box. His touch is poor, though, and is cut out immediately by Rami. Juve are beginning to look short of ideas now and are not using the width enough.
67'
G. Bonaventura enters the game and replaces S. El Shaarawy.
El Shaarawy is replaced by Bonaventura for the closing stages. He's struggled to make an impact tonight as there has been a lot of defending for him to do.
66'
Poli makes a late run and holds off Pogba before trying his luck from 20 yards out. He gets a shot away but the pressure from the French international is too much for him and he skews it well off target.
65'
Llorente and Tevez attempt to combine for the first time this half, but the latter's attempt to loop a header over Zapata is cut out by the Colombian.
64'
Menez leaps into the back of Marchisio and tumbles to ground as the Juve man ducks. He somehow has the audacity to claim for a free kick, but it is correctly given against him.
63'
A. Ogbonna gets yellow.
62'
This is Massimiliano Allegri's first return to the San Siro after being sacked by Milan last season. With the way the match is currently going it looks like he may end this game the happier manager. Juve are certainly on the front foot but still, the deadlock remains unbroken.
60'
SO CLOSE! Pereyra plays the corner low to the near post and Marchisio runs onto it. He attempts to gently steer the ball into the far corner and watches it slide wide of the target as he wheeled away.
59'
Wide from Pogba! Pereyra somehow keeps hold of the ball under pressure from Muntari and passes it across to the Frenchman. He has a dig from 20 yards and it takes a deflection which sends it out of play for a corner.
57'
From the clearance the visitors break away. Lichtsteiner makes a run into the box, looking to latch onto a pass in behind. Abate beats him to and clears the danger before being caught by the Swiss, thus winning his team a free kick.
56'
Asamoah makes an important block, standing his ground and deflecting El Shaarawy's volley behind for a corner. Honda whips it in but Buffon gets a hand to it and punches away the threat.
55'
Ogbonna pushes up to join the attack and tries to play a first-time pass into Tevez from out on the right. He gets it all wrong, though, and sends the ball straight into the arms of Abbiati.
54'
Good defending from Zapata, there. This time he didn't dive in as Llorente shielded the ball from him, instead timing his challenge perfectly to nick it away as he tried to spin into a shooting position.
53'
When Juve have possession Honda and El Shaarawy are dropping exceptionally deep and practically form part of a back six! It is very deep defending from Milan, but for the moment it appears to be working as the visitors struggle to find any space.
51'
Almost a moment of magic from Llorente! The Spaniard received the ball from Pereyra on the break and he showed great feet to dribble his way in and out of defenders across the top of the box. Just as he looks to pull the trigger Abate sweeps in and boots the ball into the stands.
50'
The Rossoneri are struggling for penetration at the moment. De Jong seems to be the only man looking for the ball when the centre-backs are in possession, leading to some ambitious and stray passes.
48'
After a few powerful runs from Pogba, Milan are now trying to keep hold of the ball and force Juve to sit back. Already there seems to be a more cagey atmosphere to the match. It is likely because neither coach wants their respective side to give anything away!
46'
We are back underway in Milan!
45' +4
Pereyra tries to dance his way through the heart of the Milan defence but is blocked on the edge of the area. It is the last action of the half as the referee blows his whistle!
45' +2
Tevez dribbles his way up the pitch, looking for space in which to shoot. He eventually lets fly only to see his shot crash into the nearest Rossoneri shirt.
45' +1
We are into the first of an additional three minutes.
45'
De Sciglio tries his luck from distance and the ball ricochets around the box before Menez lays it back to El Shaarawy. He claims it touches the arm of Ogbonna, but play continues, and the Milan follows up with a driven effort that is aimed straight at Buffon.
44'
After making his way off the pitch following some treatment, Muntari is eventually allowed back onto the field of play with Milan pressing Juve back towards their own goal.
42'
C. Marchisio gets yellow.
Marchisio's poor touch lets the ball get away from him in midfield and Muntari is quick to pounce. The pair contest a 50-50, with the Ghanaian coming off worse, and the Juve midfielder goes into the book. There is a little bit of afters which sees Muntari go back to ground, but he should be fine to carry on.
40'
What a run from Lichtsteiner! The Swiss dribbles in from the right flank, beating two Rossoneri players before laying a cutback into the middle. He fails to pick out a team-mate, though, and Milan look to counter through Menez. However, the Frenchman lacks the pace to get away from his marker.
38'
OFF THE POST!! Marchisio is allowed to close in on goal from distance before sending a fierce 25-yard effort that crashes back off the frame of Abbiati's goal! That was the closest we've come to the opener.
37'
Momentum has certainly now shifted the way of the visitors, who are keeping Abbiati on his toes. Possession is theirs and they are looking very dangerous.
35'
A. Ogbonna enters the game and replaces M. Cáceres.
WHAT A CHANCE! The Milan defence are caught out as Marchisio floats a straight ball onto the centre spot. Chiellini, making a diagonal run across the box, leaps and spins in the air and loops a header over the roof of the net. That was a real opportunity!
34'
PEREYRA! The Argentine plays a one-two with Llorente and the Spaniard's touch tees him up for a shot from 20 yards. Pereyra attempts to place an effort down to Abbiati's left but the keeper gets low to make the save!
33'
This very entertaining game remains delicately balanced, but if both sides can continue to create the sort of opportunities we've seen in the last six minutes then it might not be too long before the first goal!
31'
TOP SAVE! A fantastic move by the Bianconeri! Tevez bides his time at the top of the box before chipping a pass towards the byline for the run of Pereyra. The Argentine somehow manages to hook a pass back to Llorente, whose first touch takes him past Muntari before Abbiati closes him down to divert his poked effort around the post.
29'
STAT: The Rossoneri have won just one of their last six league encounters with Juventus. Things have looked far more even so far tonight, though.
27'
GREAT SAVE! After a few sloppy passes from both teams in midfield, Muntari angles a lovely diagonal ball into the box from the left flank. Honda leaps to meet it at the back post and powers a header back across goal, however, Buffon dives to his right and parries it aside!
25'
Milan have had a great spell during the last 10 minutes, but they've not really done an awful lot with their possession. Buffon remains largely untested, however, so does Abbiati!
23'
Poli attempts to cut a cross back into the middle from down by the corner flag but Chiellini reads his intentions and slides in to intercept. Milan are beginning to assert themselves on the champions, here.
21'
The Rossoneri manage to maintain the pressure from that free kick and Rami's next attempt to pick out a team-mate in the box is a little more successful. His raking diagonal pass is headed behind for a corner by Asamoah, with Honda pressing him.
20'
Honda slips as he attempts to play a pass in the Juve half and then collides with Marchisio. Much to the Italy international's dismay, the referee signals for a free kick to the hosts. It is floated across the pitch for Rami on the right, but his delivery is dealt with easily.
18'
The corner is drilled in and only half-cleared to De Sciglio at the top of the box. With his back to goal he attempts to hook it back into the area over the top of his head, however, he puts too much power on it for any of his team-mates to reach.
17'
The ball has spent a far greater deal of time in the Milan half thus far, with Inzaghi's side limited to attempting to catch their opponents on the counterattack. El Shaarawy breaks away on the right for one such opportunity and earns a corner off Caceres.
15'
Asamoah does well to win possession outside the Milan box and quickly feed Llorente. The Spaniard angles a pass back towards him, behind Rami, but the centre-back goes to ground after having his legs clipped and the referee awards the hosts a free kick.
13'
Marchisio dinks a fantastic pass over the top of the defence towards the byline for Pogba. The rangy Frenchman manages to get a leg to it and keep the ball in play even though his momentum sees him continue running off the pitch. It leaves the Rossoneri defence with a clear chance to remove the threat.
11'
It's been a fairly frantic opening to proceedings, so De Jong comes deep to try and control the tempo of the game. He pushes a pass to the feet of Muntari but his team-mate slips as he tries to control it. The crowd groan, and Juve look to break.
9'
Llorente uses his body to shield the arriving ball from Zapata and the centre-back tries to poke a leg around to beat him to it. He only succeeds in committing a foul on the Spaniard, who crumples to ground 25 yards from goal. The free kick is sent in by Tevez but is immediately headed away.
8'
There have been some feisty challenges in the opening minutes here and after Muntari goes in hard on Marchisio, the referee halts play momentarily to have a word with the Ghanaian.
7'
HE SHOULD SCORE! Juve break as Llorente pass to Tevez and the Argentine plays the ball around the corner for Pereyra. He is not closed down as he bears down on goal and his attempt to clip a shot over the keeper is poorly-judged, looping over the roof of the net without worrying Abbiati.
5'
Zapata makes a nuisance of himself up the other end now, though, rising high at the near post to flick on a looped ball into the area. De Jong tries to goes in at the back to tap it home, however, Buffon manages to smother the ball before he can connect.
4'
Zapata plays a sloppy pass out from the back and Lichtsteiner pounces, surging forward on the right and knocking it into Marchisio. The midfielder turns and tries to slide a pass in to Tevez, but is only able to find a Rossoneri shirt. That could have been embarrassing for the Colombian.
2'
It is taken short and it is actually Bonucci who takes the strike at goal. He doesn't hit it cleanly, sending the ball into the wall and from there it goes behind for a corner kick.
1'
We are underway in Milan!
Juve have a free kick in a dangerous are here as Honda chases back and bundles Tevez over 30 yards from goal. He found the back of the net with a set piece against Malmo in midweek, so can the Argentine do the same here?
Hello and welcome to this evening's live text commentary on the pick of the weekend's Serie A action as AC Milan host Juventus at the San Siro. Both sides are enjoying good early-season form, but tonight will provide the biggest challenge of their respective campaigns thus far. My name is Tom Webber, and I will be your guide for this mouthwatering fixture..
Milan have been victorious in their previous six league games so will be confident going into this game. The reigning Serie A champions, meanwhile, have won on all of their last nine domestic outings. Something will have to give tonight!
MILAN TEAM NEWS: There is a wholly different centre-back pairing to that which started against Parma last weekend, as Alex misses out through injury and Daniele Bonera is suspended. Adil Rami and Cristian Zapata come into the defence while Christian Abiatti begins in goal with Diego Lopez unfit.
Milan (4-3-3): Abbiati; Abate, Rami, Zapata, De Sciglio; Poli, De Jong, Muntari; Honda, Menez, El Shaarawy.
JUVENTUS TEAM NEWS: With Andrea Pirlo and Luca Marrone absent due to injury and Arturo Vidal only fit enough for the bench, tonight's midfield trio will be made up of Roberto Pereyra, Claudio Marchisio and Paul Pogba. Giorgio Chiellini makes his first league appearance of the season as part of a three-man defence.
Milan have scored eight in their opening two games of this Serie A campaign, but have leaked five in the process. It will be interesting to see the effect that the three changes at the back tonight have. The Rossoneri will need to show far greater resolve against Tevez and Llorente than they have done so far this seeason.
Conversely, Juve have kept a clean sheet in eight of their previous nine league outings. In fact, they managed to shut their hosts out in this fixture last season as goals from Llorente and Tevez secured a 2-0 win for the Bianconeri.
We are just five minutes away from the meeting of the top two teams in Serie A!
The teams are making their way out onto the pitch now, so kick off will be upon us in just a few short moments.
HALF TIME - Milan 0-0 Juventus: After an entertaining 45 minutes of football the score remains goalless, however, both keepers have been called into action. Buffon made a good save from Honda, but it is Abbiati who has had to do more work. He denied Pereyra and Llorente and was saved by his post on one other occasion. There is still plenty more to come, so be sure to return for the second half in 15 minutes.
Welcome back! The teams are back out on the pitch so the second half will commence in a few moments.
FULL TIME - Milan 0-1 Juventus: Carlos Tevez once again proves decisive for the Bianconeri as his second-half goal earns Masimilliano Allegri the victory on his return to the San Siro. The Turin return to the familiar spot at the top of the table, rising above the defeated Rossoneri.
That is it from me, Tom Webber, for this evening. Thanks a lot for joining me!
