We are into one minute of added time at the end of this on here. Boga tries to cap off his fine display with a long-range effort but it's blocked and cleared by the defence.
89'
It is a touch cruel on Wycombe and Bloomfield on what was supposed to be a bit of a celebration for the Adams Park outfit. But they'll be grateful to Chelsea for giving the match their full attention, and some of the younger players have certainly grabbed their fair-share of attention this evening with eye-catching displays.
87'
I. Brown has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by D. Solanke.
GOOOAAALLL!!!! BROWN ADDS A FIFTH!!! What a finish this is from Brown. Solanke went close to a fifth moments earlier but now they have it as Salah sets up Brown whose first-time effort from the edge of the area arrows into the top corner.
85'
We are back up and running with a throw in for Wycombe but Chelsea instantly recover possession and look to mount another attack. Will they go in search of a fifth?
83'
Another big challenge comes in as Driver feels the full force of a tackle from Da Silva. He's on the ground and will need a bit of treatment before we get back underway again.
81'
A chance for 16-year-old Solanke to get his name on the scoresheet comes and goes. The youngester troubles Fletcher with his pace but he gets his shot all wrong, scooping it up and over the crossbar from outside the box.
79'
N. Evans enters the game and replaces M. Bloomfield.
STAT ATTACK: It may not have been the result Bloomfield was looking for on his testimonial, but he already has his memorable moment against the blues. Bloomfield was part of the Wanderers side that held Chelsea to a draw in the first-leg of the League Cup semi-final in 2007.
77'
Matt Bloomfield leaves the pitch to a standing ovation from all corners of the ground as his participation in his own testimonial comes to an end. Not the fairytale he may have hoped for, but a fitting tribute all the same.
75'
Salah comes off his wing with a bit of intent for the first time this evening, cutting in and stinging the palms of Ingram with an effort from just outside the area. Can imagine we'll be seeing that plenty more over the course of the season.
74'
T. Fletcher enters the game and replaces G. Doherty.
J. Houghton enters the game and replaces Oriol Romeu.
G. Ainsworth enters the game and replaces P. Hayes.
M. Beeney enters the game and replaces M. Schwarzer.
Also on is the Wycombe Wanderers manager! Gareth Ainsworth has decided he wants a shot against Terry & Co. Tommy Fletcher is also on for the hosts, replacing Doherty at the back.
Minute
Description
73'
A couple more Chelsea subs as Romeu comes off and Houghton comes on. Schwarzer is off and Beeney comes into the nets for the final 15-or-so minutes.
71'
Matic tries to send in a testing ball into the Wycombe area but Ingram is alert on this occasion and comes to collect the ball comfortably. At the other end Schwarzer is finally called into action, getting down low to gather a long-range effort.
69'
There's been a stark contrast between the two halves at Adams Park this evening. Wycombe gave a good account of themselves in the opening period and were perhaps unlucky not to go in level at the break. They have been blown away by the big guns in this second period though.
67'
B. Ivanović has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by J. Boga.
GOOAAAALL!!!! IVANOVIC HEADS HOME!!! This is beginning to get a bit emphatic now. Boga delivers another impressive delivery from a set piece and any number of Chelsea players are free in the area to nod home, Ivanovic winning the contest on this occasion.
66'
Hayes plays in a great ball which beats the Chelsea defence, but a poor first touch from Murphy sees the chance go as Terry recovers.
64'
C. Driver enters the game and replaces S. Lewis.
J. Morias enters the game and replaces P. Cowan-Hall.
M. Kretzschmar enters the game and replaces S. Wood.
63'
A triple sub for the hosts as Morias, Kretzschmar and Driver all enter the fray. Meanwhile there's a chance for a sliding Ivanovic as the ball becomes loose in the area, but he can't keep his effort down.
61'
Cries of shoot from the home fans as Schwarzer's sketchy clearance falls straight at the feet of a Wycombe midfielder. A moment's hesitation ends any chance of a wonder goal though and Chelsea soon regain possession.
59'
P. Murphy enters the game and replaces J. Scowen.
M. McClure enters the game and replaces S. Craig.
A couple more subs from the home side as Murphy and McClure get their chance to test themselves against some of the best players in the country. Boga swings in a free-kick and a flick towards goal produces a smart reaction save from Ingram.
57'
Mourinho's side look a different proposition in this half and Wycombe have visibly changed their approach. They're reluctant to close down as quickly as they have done, having already found themselves caught in behind a couple of times since the break.
55'
Wycombe are just trying to rally, but with Ivanovic and Terry now at the back, that Chelsea defence is looking a lot more solid than before. Craig tries to find space down the left, but every avenue he tries is blocked by a yellow shirt.
53'
That early showing in the second half has surely put the result beyond doubt. The only question now surely is how many are the visitors going to get?
52'
J. Terry has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by J. Boga.
GOOOAAALLL!!!! TERRY FINDS THE NET!!!! It's that combination of youth and experience again. Boga's corner lands invitingly at he feet of John Terry and the captain sweeps the ball into the net.
50'
The perfect start to the second half for Mourinho's men then. With a few more first team players on the field in this half and a sprinkling of more young players, this could be a much tougher half for Wycombe.
48'
I. Brown has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by J. Dasilva.
GOOAALLL!!!! CHELSEA DOUBLE THEIR LEAD!!! The added experience pays dividends straight away as Matic pulls the strings in Chelsea's second goal. The Serb lifts the ball over the top for Da Silva who gets to the bye-line before cutting back for fellow substitute Brown, who smashes beyond Ingram for 2-0.
46'
B. Ivanović enters the game and replaces N. Aké.
Sido Jombati enters the game and replaces J. Jacobson.
I. Brown enters the game and replaces J. Swift.
J. Terry enters the game and replaces A. Christensen.
N. Matić enters the game and replaces M. van Ginkel.
D. Solanke enters the game and replaces P. Bamford.
J. Boga enters the game and replaces L. Baker.
J. Dasilva enters the game and replaces N. Chalobah.
Mohamed Salah enters the game and replaces Lucas Piazón.
We are back up and running at Adams Park! Chelsea's FA Youth Cup hero Dominic Solanke is up front by himself, at just 16 years old.
45'
I thought this was a friendly! Lewis comes in like a steam train on Ake as Chelsea attack, catching the full-back in the corner. Luckily there is no injury and just a ticking off for the Wycombe man.
44'
Wycombe have had some joy down the right-hand side against Nathan Ake in this first period and they cause Chelsea a few more problems again down that side. Lewis gets in a couple of decent crosses, both which are met by Craig, the second one headed just wide of Schwarzer's goal.
42'
Chelsea mount one of their more meaningful attacks of the first half as Swift causes more problems for Wycombe through the centre. He can't quite get the ball under control as he approaches the area though and the hosts can eventually clear.
40'
CHANCE FOR WYCOMBE! Schwarzer hasn't had much to do and he looks a little rusty as he comes to try and collect a corner here. He drops the ball at the feet of Cowan-Hall who turns and shoots the loose ball goalwards, only to see it cleared off the line by Bamford.
38'
Swift picks up the ball for Chelsea in a central position and drives at the Wycombe defence. He tries to play in Bamford with a cute through-ball, but the former Derby loanee is penalised for a push in the back on the defender.
36'
The loudest cheer of the evening so far comes from the Chelsea fans as the subs begin to warm up. A chorus of 'One John Terry' rings out from the away fans as the former England captain leads the rest of the replacements in their workout.
34'
Schwarzer touches the ball for what must be the first time this evening! A long ball finds its way back to the Aussie keeper and he easily mops up the danger. A sign of just how little the home side have threatened so far.
32'
Chelsea once again are quite happy to let Wycombe keep hold of possession in their own half. As soon as the lower league opposition try to play the ball into the attacking half however, a swarm of yellow shirts is on that ball immediately.
30'
We've reached the half way mark in this one and we're still really waiting for it to ignite. Chelsea have been forced to introduce one of their big names on the bench through injury, but no real signs of intent from the visitors just yet.
28'
STAT ATTACK: There aren't many players in this initial starting line up with much experience in a Chelsea first team, but there is a lot of players who got some invaluable time on loan last season. Bamford played 53 games last seaon for MK Dons and Derby County, while Romeu and Lucas Piazon were at Valencia and Vitesse respectively.
26'
Nathaniel Chalobah has to be on his toes to deal with the threat of Craig. There's a bit of space for the home side on the left wing for the first time but the Chelsea defender does well to dispossess the Wycombe man and clear the danger.
24'
That goal has got the visitors up for this now. They can sense the chance to get at the League Two side now and have just forced their first corner of the game.
23'
22'
Kane has been forced off with that injury to his groin. On in his place is Kurt Zouma to make his Chelsea debut.
21'
K. Zouma enters the game and replaces T. Kane.
20'
P. Bamford has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by N. Aké.
GOOALLL!!!! CHELSEA LEAD!!! It's been a slow start but the first chance produces the first goal! Nathan Ake gets down the left and his low cross is diverted beyond Ingram by Patrick Bamford from inside the area. Tidy finish from the young man.
17'
Todd Kane has got himself into a spot of bother here. The defender overstretched trying to pinch ball back of an opponent and it looks as though he has picked up an injury in his groin.
15'
It is preseason after all, but there has been a real lack of attacking edge from both sides so far. Chelsea, are controlling most of the possession, with a lot of their play coming through the midfield pairing of Romeu and van Ginkel. No sniff of a chance yet though.
13'
STAT ATTACK: The crowd this evening is a lot bigger than the last time Wycombe played here. There were only 929 fans present as Wanderers avoided the drop out of the Football League on the final day of last season, courtesy of a 3-0 win over Torquay, preserving their league status of 21 years.
11'
Paul Hayes, is a wily, old centre-forward and he gets the better of Ake on the left, pick-pocketing the youngster and driving into the box, only to see his cross turned behind for a corner. A warning-shot there for the Chelsea full-back.
9'
Wycombe do now get their first spell of possession, but they're having to keep the ball in their own half to keep a hold of it. Chelsea are closing down quickly and the hosts have nowhere to go but backwards.
7'
Chelsea have taken control of the game in these opening stages. There are over 8,000 fans in the ground this evening but they're being kept pretty quiet at the moment by the visitors. Ake joins an attack from the back but can't control Baker's cross.
5'
While Chelsea may have gone for youth over experience in the first period, Wycombe have certainly gone for the latter. Gary Doherty is at the back for the hosts. The 34 year-old played in the Premier League for Tottenham over 14 years ago. That's what you call longevity.
3'
A bright start from the visitors who look intent on making their mark early on. Chelsea hold onto possession before trying to force an opening down the right and only a poor touch from Baker allows Wanderers keeper Ingram to halt the attack.
1'
And we are underway! Chelsea are in their all-yellow change kit this evening, Wycombe in their home colours of light and dark blue.
The World Cup may finally be over, but fear not! Preseason has started and we have live coverage of Chelsea's first friendly of the new campaign, as they take on Wycombe at Adams Park. I'm Harry Slavin and I'll be here to take you through all the action.
Yes alright, it may not be the most glamorous tie you've seen this month, but there are plenty of reasons why this fixture matters, 10.5 to be exact. Wycombe midfielder Matt Bloomfield gets his testimonial tonight for Wanderers after 10 and a half years at the club, a period that has seen him make 324 appearances.
Despite the sentimental value of this evening though, the majority of eyes will be on Jose Mourinho's side, as they look to build on last season's third place finish. They've managed to strengthen over the close season, with the arrivals of Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas both confirmed, while Filipe Luis' arrival looks imminent. Could this be their season?
Chelsea will have a whole host of big names to call upon in the upcoming season, but they appear to have given most of them the evening off. John Terry and Nemanja Matic are both on the bench, but it's particularly young looking line-up for the Blues, with Lucas Piazon and Nathaniel Chalobah just a couple of the youngsters starting at Adams Park.
In fact, Let's take a look at those line-ups in more detail now.
CHELSEA XI: Schwarzer, Ake, Christiansen, Bamford, Baker, Kane, Romeu, Van Ginkel, Swift, Lucas Piazon, Chalobah.SUBS: Beeney, Ivanovic, Zouma, De Silva, Boga, Houghton, Solanke, Brown, Matic, Terry.
So a really youthful looking Chelsea side, but a lot of exciting prospects in that first half, including a number of The FA Youth Cup winning side of last season, such as Andreas Christiansen.
There's a lot of experience on the Premier League side's bench though, and judging by comments made by Chelsea coaches to the media, it looks as if we'll be seeing John Terry & Co all coming off the bench in the second period. That means a first sighting for Chelsea fans of Kurt Zouma.
Kick off has been delayed at Adams Park due to an accident near the ground apparently. The new start time is being given as 7.50pm. So not far away now!
The teams are out! A nice touch as both teams give testimonial man Matt Bloomfield a guard of honour. I'm not sure this young Chelsea side will be looking to extend the pleasantries any further.
HALF-TIME: WYCOMBE 0-1 CHELSEA. A tame first half then at Adams Park, but really what did we expect from the opening game of preseason? A few of the Chelsea young-guns will have done their reputations no harm with solid performances in the first half, Swift and Bamford both making notable contributions so far.
We have had our breakthrough in that first half and if it was going to come from anyone, Bamford was going to be your best bet. The 20-year-old notched 25 goals in all competitions last year. Could he be in with a shout of more regular first team action at the Bridge this year?
Patrick Bamford has actually been speaking to Chelsea TV at the break and here's just a selection of what he's had to say about his first half performance: "I'm happy getting the goals and it was good to help out at the back. It's nice to play with these boys, I haven't played with most of these guys for two years and it's nice to be in a chelsea shirt again."
Plenty of changes for Chelsea at the break, Ivanovic, Terry and Salah have all emerged for the second half and we are about to get back underway.
FULL-TIME: WYCOMBE 0-5 CHELSEA. An emphatic victory in the end then as Mourinho's old guard blow the hosts away with a fine second-half display. It was the young-guns that caught the eye though, with Boga and Brown impressing in particular.
That's it for this evening's action. There is plenty of preseason coverage still to come this month though so be sure to keep an eye out for more games coming your way. Until next time though, I've been Harry Slavin, goodbye for now!
