S. Gallagher has scored a goal for Southampton! Assist by S. Davis.
90' +6
GOAL! Southampton break forward with pace and Gallagher strikes with little pressure. Ruddy got a hand to it but the ball loops over the line and it means all three points for the Saints and the striker's first goal for his club in the Premier League.
90' +4
Chris Hughton is frantic on the touchline, waving and jestering to his charges like a madman. But in the back of his head he will be thinking, why did his team only threaten when it was too little, too late?
90' +3
S. Gallagher enters the game and replaces J. Rodríguez.
90' +2
WHAT A CHANCE! Redmond looks offside, but the substitute cannot control the lob into the box and the ball ends up in the arms of the grateful Boruc. If only the youngster had gained control of that ball then maybe we would be talking about one of the mose surprising comebacks in Premier League history!
90'
There will be FIVE (yes, five!) minutes of added on time...can the Canaries do it?
89'
What a mad minute that was! Norwich have not threatened at all in this game and then they go and score twice in 60 seconds! I bet those fans who left early are regretting it now! The visitors are piling forward...
86'
R. Snodgrass has scored a goal for Norwich City!
GOAL! I don't believe it! Snodgrass gives the Canaries hope! Van Wolfswinkel's shot is spilled by Boruc straight to the midfielder who lashes it past the keeper. Southampton are rocking and with only minutes to go it's game on!
85'
J. Elmander has scored a goal for Norwich City!
GOAL! Elmander has given the travelling fans something to cheer about as he slots the ball into an empty net. Fonte plays the ball back to his keeper without looking and the Swedish International latches onto it. He is pulled about by Ward-Prowse but it didn't matter.
83'
STAT ATTACK: Before this game, record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel had played 1015 minutes in the Premier League and managed only four shots on target. His only goal came on the opening day of the season.
Minute
Description
81'
OFF THE WOODWORK! Rodriguez, who is in acres of space, produces a fantastic strike from distance that smashed the bar and loops out of play for a goal kick. Ruddy gives his defenders what for after none of them closed the striker down.
79'
Nothing but groans of frustration are emitting from the away support. Some have already decided that enough is enough and are making their way back home to East Anglia. This has been yet another demoralising performance from Chris Hughton's men.
77'
STAT ATTACK: That goal for Jay Rodriguez is his 50th league goal. He has picked the right day to get it with the England manager in the stands!
75'
There seems to be very little fight in this Norwich side, which is worrying for a team who are flirting with danger.
72'
J. Rodríguez has scored a goal for Southampton! Assist by R. Lambert.
GOAL! Game, set and match as Southampton are home and dry. Lambert finds Clyne, whose shot from close range spoons up in the air back to the England striker, who picks out Rodriguez, who hammers it home from ten yards.
69'
Kevin Friend is making no friends in the travelling fans section as he fails to see that the ball was touched out of play for a corner for the away side. Whoops!
67'
There have been no further chances in this game but some of the passes the Saints players are putting together are a sight to behold. Is this one of the most entertaining sides to watch in the Premier league? I'd say so!
65'
J. Elmander enters the game and replaces G. Hooper.
N. Redmond enters the game and replaces A. Pilkington.
Chants of 'You don't know what you're doing!' are ringing from the away support towards Chris Hughton as he throws all three substitutes on at the same time. A tad harsh, there Canaries fans.
64'
R. van Wolfswinkel enters the game and replaces B. Johnson.
The Saints are all too happy to pass the ball around at the moment and build possession. Shaw gets to the byline and puts in a decent cross looking for Lambert but Ruddy comes out and clutches the ball to his chest.
61'
Guly enters the game and replaces G. Ramírez.
STAT ATTACK: Norwich's only top-flight win at Southampton in the last 10 attempts came on New Year's Day 20 years ago when Chris Sutton scored the decisive goal.
60'
R. Snodgrass gets yellow.
59'
With half an hour to go, the hosts are looking to stick the knife in here. Shaw has been given a license to roam down the left flank and the fans are loving it!
57'
R. Lambert has scored a goal for Southampton!
GOAL! Instant impact from the substitute! Lambert picks the loose ball up and controls it past Yobo and slots low from six yards past Ruddy. The watching England manager will be happy with that...
56'
R. Lambert enters the game and replaces A. Lallana.
55'
JUST WIDE! The hosts win a corner, which is swung in from Davis but Lallana cannot get a good enough connection to the ball and sees his effort go wide. It looks like the captain will make way for Lambert, too.
54'
The Canaries need some inspiration to spark their comeback. Maybe Hughton will look for inspiration on the bench?
52'
The visitors really are being swamped by the hosts as they have been for the majority of this season. The best hope they have of a goal at the moment is from the Saints' keeper! Boruc's distribution has been woeful, what is going through that man's head!
50'
GOOD SAVE! What a good shot from Ward-Prowse. The midfielder takes aim from 25 yards and draws a great diving save from Ruddy, who turns the effort around the post for a corner.
48'
STAT ATTACK: Before this game, Norwich were the only team the Saints had failed to score against in the league since Pochettino took over as manager.
46'
We are back with Southampton getting us underway.
45'
There will be TWO minutes of added on time.
44'
A. Pilkington gets yellow.
PILKINGTON TRIES TO DO A MARADONA! Hooper does well no the right wing and swings a lovely ball into his strike partner, but Pilkington throws his arm up in front of his head and ends up touching the ball over the bar with his shoulder.
42'
For Pochettino, he will want his side to double their advantage as soon as they can to kill the game off. The Saints have looked more of a cohesive unit than their opponents so far but they cannot afford to be complacent.
40'
With five minutes to go before half time, Chris Hughton will be hoping he can motivate his side back into this game as they have looked very sheepish out there. If they can come out all guns blazing after the break, we will have more of a game on our hands.
38'
The Saints are still exploiting the channels that the visitors are leaving free and Rodriguez finds himself just offside. The Canaries need to press more all over the pitch.
36'
BLOCKED! Pilkington lets rip from 15 yards after a free-kick finds him in the box and he thrashes it against his own player! Yobo will feel sore after that.
35'
S. Davis gets yellow.
OUCH! Davis goes in fully commited on Olsson and catches the left-back high up his leg. Kevin Friend gives himself plenty of time to make a decision and produces the first yellow card of the afternoon.
32'
WIDE! The visitors have their first clear-cut opportunity and it comes from Hooper. The striker links up well with Snodgrass and left-back Shaw does well to put the marksmen off his shot and scuff it wide of Boruc's goal.
31'
The Norwich players are crowding the referee as they appeal for a two-footed tackle from Schniederlin on Johnson. Kevin Friend waves the protests away as the goalscorer got the ball, but the visitors are not happy with that.
29'
Nearly half an hour has gone and despite that minute of pressure from the visitors this game has been a breeze for the Saints. Pochettino will be more than happy with what he has seen but another goal would put the hosts in a commanding position.
27'
STAT ATTACK: The Canaries are winless in 14 Premier League away matches in March since a 3-0 win at Nottingham Forest in 1993 (D2, L12).
25'
Ironic cheers are greeting every pass that Norwich are stringing together. The away side really have not got going here and their marking has given the Saints so much space it's on wonder this is a one-sided game so far!
23'
Ruddy is struggling to see out there as the sun is directly in his eyes. Someone, get that man a cap!
21'
JUST WIDE! The Saints have woken up again after that mistake and nearly double their lead through Ramirez, who has a go from 25 yards but curls his left-footed shot a foot wide of the post.
18'
CHANCE! A lack of communication at the back between Lovren and Fonte gives Hooper a glimmer of a chance to get a shot away on goal, but Boruc is quick off his line to spare his defender's blushes.
17'
GREAT TACKLE! Yobo intercepts the ball before Rodriguez has a chance to punce with a sublime last ditch effort that spares his team further embarassment in the opening exchanges.
15'
STAT ATTACK: Southampton are enjoying themselves out there and they currently have had 76 per cent possession so far this afternoon.
12'
OUCH! It looks like further bad news for the Canaries as Johnson gets in a tangle with Ward-Prowse, who catches the midfielder with his studs. It was a fifty-fifty challenge and the Norwich number four has to leave the field to receive further attention.
11'
Chris Hughton is looking very annoyed on the touchline after that early breakthrough. The boss will want an improvement instantly but the visitors are struggling to get a foothold in this game.
9'
STAT ATTACK: The Saints have only won one of their last eight home matches in the Premier League: 1-0 against West Brom in January (W1, D3, L4). They were unbeaten in their first six games of the season at St Mary's.
7'
WIDE! The home side win a free-kick to the left of the penalty area. Davis jumps high to get a flick on the ball but the header flies out of harm's way. Good start, this! Norwich really haven't got themselves in the game yet.
5'
M. Schneiderlin has scored a goal for Southampton! Assist by G. Ramírez.
GOAL! Schneiderlin gets the breakthrough and it is a wonderful goal! A first time pass from Rodriguez sees the midfielder through on goal and with no white shirts around him, he slots low past Ruddy to put the Saints in front!
4'
ENGLAND MANAGER IN THE STANDS. Roy Hodgson takes his seat in the director's box to keep an eye on the wealth of talent on show - especially in the home side. The Three Lions - Shaw, Lallana and Rodriguez are all looking to make an impression.
2'
FREE HEADER! The Saints win an early corner. Ward-Prowse bends it into the box where Ramirez rises highest, but sees his effort fly over Ruddy's bar.
1'
Today's match referee, Kevin Friend, gets the match underway, with Norwich in their changed strips kicking from left to right.
Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of today's Premier League tie between Southampton and Norwich. My name is Hayden Gribble and I will be your guide through all the twists and turns that await us in the next 90 minutes. But before we get started, let's take a look at the team news...
The Saints make two changes as Rickie Lambert drops to the bench and is replaced by Gaston Ramirez whilst James Ward-Prowse also makes a start for Mauricio Pochettino's men.
For relegation-threatened Norwich, boss Chris Hughton makes five changes from the side who drew 1-1 with Stoke last time out. Amongst the changes are Gary Hooper replacing Ricky Van Wolfswinkel up front and captain Sebastien Bassong, whose error cost the Canaries all three points last week, drops to the bench.
TEN MINUTES TO GO! I hope you are sitting comfortably at home as an awful lot rides on this game - especially for the visitors. We are now at the business end of the season and if the Norfolk side are to stay in the league for another season then they have to turn it on here!
The teams are lining up in the St Mary's tunnel about to emerge onto the sun-kissed pitch. Kick-off is moments away!
HALF TIME - SOUTHAMPTON 1-0 NORWICH. Morgan Schniederlin's early goal - his second of the season - seperates the two sides. The Canaries have been able to put the home side under pressure a little in this half but the 45 minutrs belong to the Saints. More to come after the break...
FULL TIME - SOUTHAMPTON 4-2 NORWICH. What a mad, mad finish that was! It looked as though the Saints would be marching to all three points after a solid performance but two goals in a minute from the visitors made it a frantic final few minutes. Sam Gallagher finally broke the Canarie's hearts in the final minute of stoppage time to leave the visitors staring relegation in the face.
Phew! Glad that's over. What a great end to the game and it just goes to show how brilliant and unpredicatable the Premier League can be. I have been Hayden Gribble and you have a great weekend.
