LENO MAKES THE SAVE! Lucas delivers the ball and Rabiot gets his head to it, but Leno gets down and holds the effort. It proves to be the last action of the game as the referee blows his whistle to signal the end of the game.
90' +1
We are into the first of an additional three minutes.
90'
PSG are awarded another free kick 25 yards out after a clumsy challenge from Wagener, but once more it is fired straight into the wall: this time by Lucas.
88'
Not long left for Leverkusen to see out now, and they can take some positives from their performance ahead of a tricky game with Bayern Munich at the weekend.
86'
The hosts have not really stepped up their game following Can's dismissal. Granted their passage into the quarter-finals is secure, but they could have done it in much more extravagant fashion.
85'
Z. Camara enters the game and replaces E. Cavani.
84'
GOOD SAVE! Menez races forward down the left and slides a pass behind the defence for Pastore. The Argentine releases a shot at goal but he puts it too close to Leno, who palms aside. Cavani was awaiting a tap in in the middle and clearly isn't happy.
83'
Son tries to break at pace after a PSG set play but Thiago Silva tracks the Leverkusen man's run before making a challenge to win back possession for his team in the form of a throw in.
81'
Hyypia's men are all back in their own half now, just looking to see out this game with minimal damage done. With one man less, though, it will be difficult for them to close all the spaces.
79'
A. Rabiot gets yellow.
Barcelona, who knocked PSG out at the quarter-final stage last season, currently lead Manchester City 1-0 at Camp Nou. How would this Parisiens team do up against the Blaugrana this year?
Minute
Description
78'
M. Wagener enters the game and replaces S. Reinartz.
77'
It has not been the best of evenings for PSG's midfield trio and again a move breaks down as Pastore's pass is intercepted and sent out for a corner. It is taken short and nothing is made of it.
75'
Digne again looks to race to the byeline but his touch is too heavy and he ends up running it straight out of play. He had beaten Brandt for pace there, though.
73'
PSG are awarded a free kick 30 yards from goal but Cabaye thumps it straight into the wall. The rebound is sent to Pastore by Rabiot but he slices into the stands behind the goal.
72'
J. Ménez enters the game and replaces Z. Ibrahimović.
71'
Cavani gets into space down the channel and is picked out by Pastore. He shows a great first touch but he hesitates before shooting and Toprak manages to get in a block.
70'
It could be suggested that it was harsh from the referee, but diving should always be punished with a yellow card and the Leverkusen man went down under no contact. PSG will surely see this out comfortably now.
68'
E. Can gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD FOR CAN! The midfielder worked hard in the first half but since the break he has been poor. That is his second yellow card and it is picked up for diving.
67'
J. Brandt enters the game and replaces S. Sam.
Son Heung-Min enters the game and replaces G. Castro.
66'
Sirigu again comes out on top! Derdiyok once more makes an impressive run in behind Marquinhos, but he scuffs his shot and Sirigu is able to send the attempt behind with his legs.
64'
WHAT A MISS! Ibrahimovic is put through one-on-one by Pastore but he snatches at the chance and lashes a first-time effort miles off target. It has not quite been his night, but you can never count him out.
62'
Lucas Moura enters the game and replaces E. Lavezzi.
Derdiyok again gets in behind the PSG defence but he goes too far wide as he attempts to pass Sirigu. He has to turn back and try to get a cross in, and that allows Thiago Silva the time to get into position to make another important block.
60'
The tempo of the game has really eased off since PSG took the lead a few minutes ago. The hosts have been far from their best tonight, with their new midfield trio not quite cutting it. Still, they have the lead.
58'
GREAT STRIKE! Castro lets fly with a searing effort from in excess of 25 yards which dips as it reaches the goal. Sirigu shows a strong pair of hands, though, pushing the shot aside and then holding Derdiyok's follow-up attempt.
56'
Leverkusen have not reached the quarter-finals since the 2001-02 season, when they finished as eventual runners-up. Their last adventure into the knockout rounds in 2011-12, ended with a heavy 10-2 aggregate defeat against Barcelona.
54'
TOP SAVE! Leverkusen nearly peg the hosts back immediately with a lovely, flowing move initiated by Toprak racing up from the back. The ball ends up with Donati on the right of the box but his arrowed shot is diverted outside of the posts by Sirigu.
53'
E. Lavezzi has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by L. Digne.
GOOOOOAL! Now Lavezzi makes his mark! Digne powers past Can on the left and cuts the ball back to the Argentine who slides a shot past Leno at his near post.
52'
E. Can gets yellow.
Leverkusen put together a lovely move with Can feeding Sam on the edge of the box. He combines with Derdiyok before sending the ball out wide to Donati, however the right-back's cross is blocked at the near post.
50'
Donati shows good strength to shepherd the ball out of play, stopping Lavezzi from latching onto a pass down the left wing. The Argentine has been finding it difficult to make his mark on the game tonight.
49'
E. Derdiyok gets yellow.
48'
Ibrahimovic produces a brilliant take in the centre of the park, getting his foot up as high as his head to control the ball. He then gets his head up but is unable to forge a meaningful chance for his team.
46'
We are back underway in Paris!
45' +2
There is the whistle for half time.
45'
Just one minute to be added on at the end of the half.
44'
OVER THE TOP! Rabiot lets loose with a shot from 25 yards but he blazes it far over the roof of the goal, much to the displeasure of Ibrahimovic.
42'
Can again manouveurs well in midfield and threads a pass up towards Sam. Thiago Silva misses the ball but the Leverkusen man's control is poor and it allows possession to run straight through to Sirigu.
40'
Just five minutes to go until half time now. Both teams have threatened but over the course of the first half the hosts have probably shaded it. They have created more opportunities and if Ibrahimovic and Cavani had taken them, this game could well be beyond any doubt.
38'
CAVANI DENIED! Ibrahimovic drops off the front and picks out his team-mate with a brilliant pass. The Uruguayan beats Wollscheid with his first touch but is unable to guide a shot past Leno and into the corner. Good save from the keeper.
36'
Ambitious from Cavani, glancing an 18-yard header on target from a set play but that was never going to worry Leno, who holds it comfortably at his far post.
35'
STAT: PSG are unbeaten at home against German clubs, having won four and drawn one in their previous five fixtures against teams from the nation.
33'
Rabiot lofts a decent pass over the top of the defence from the centre circle, looking for Ibrahimovic to run in behind. The striker almost gets to it, but for Leno rushing off his line to deal with it and head the ball to a team-mate.
31'
Digne has practically been playing as a left winger this evening. It has allowed Lavezzi to move further inside but so far the Argentine has yet to make an impact on the game. The young Frenchman, meanwhile, has impressed.
30'
Well, Leverkuen could not have had a better chance to take the lead again before half time. Rolfes was poor in the first leg and he really lacked conviction as he stepped up to take that spot-kick. Again, it was the impressive movement of Derdiyok that won it, though.
28'
C. Jallet gets yellow.
Penalty saved by S. Sirigu!
SAVED!! Rolfes is given the responsibility from the spot and his effort to the keeper's left is parried by Sirigu, leaving Leverkusen with just a corner. It was a poor penalty, in truth.
27'
The Germans are now enjoying another good spell in possession and have slowed the momentum being built by the hosts. They send a ball into the area and... PENALTY!!
25'
Good movement from Derdiyok there, spinning into space inside the box. Reinartz spots the run and looks to pick him out, but the pass is just out of reach for the Swiss striker.
23'
After their impressive start Leverkusen have certainly taken a back seat in this game. It is perhaps unsurprising that the PSG goal has sapped the energy they put into early pressing, but they must keep it up to avoid another large defeat.
21'
OVER THE TOP! Pastore slides a pass up to Ibrahimovic and the Swede holds off his marker to get to the ball first. However, it is a little too far away from him so he has to slide to get a foot on it, meaning he balloons the shot over the top. He gets up and lets his team-mate know he wasn't happy with that pass.
20'
Digne is having an impressive start to the game tonight and he is given space to sprint into once more. He slides a pass down the line for Lavezzi but the flag is raised for offside. He evidently left it too long before releasing the ball.
18'
OFF THE BAR! Ibrahimovic almost scores PSG's second as he finds a pocket of space inside the area behind Guardado and is fed by Cavani. He dinks a shot over the onrushing Leno but it has too much elevation and cannons back off the crossbar. Pastore is then unable to create anything from the rebound.
17'
Vital clearance! Thiago Silva gets an important head on a cross to stop Derdiyok, who was lurking just behind him, from adding a simple finish.
16'
Ibrahimovic puts in a lovely nutmeg which ends up being a pass to Pastore. The Argentine clips a diagonal ball to the left for his compatriot, Lavezzi, but his first-time cross is intercepted and cleared away for another corner.
15'
That goal means that Leverkusen must score another four in order to progress to the quarter-finals. Extra time and penalties are off the cards. This will be decided at the end of the 90 minutes.
13'
Marquinhos has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by Y. Cabaye.
GOOOOOOOOAL! The resultant corner is swung in from the far side and Marquinhos finds space between Rolfes and Reinartz to get his head to the ball. Leno gets a hand to the shot but it has enough power to carry it over the line and restore parity.
12'
WHAT A CHANCE! Cavani wins the ball back in the Leverkusen half and instantly feeds Ibrahimovic. The striker carries it into the area and attempts to pick out the far corner but Leno flings a leg at it to divert it behind. Lavezzi was available in the middle, but the Swede was never going to pick him out.
10'
SAM! He absolutely slices it! Sirigu's poor clearance is nodded straight to the forward by Can, and he lifts the ball over his own head before spinning and volleying a wild effort miles away from goal.
8'
Ibrahimovic challenges Leno to a cross into the middle and the keeper spills the ball. Lavezzi looks to pounce on the rebound but the referee blows his whistle to signal for a foul on the Leverkusen man. Early signs of complacency for PSG prior to that?
6'
S. Sam has scored a goal for Bayer Leverkusen! Assist by G. Donati.
GOOOOOOOOAL!! LEVERKUSEN OPEN THE SCORING! Could this be the start of something special?! Rolfes did well in the build-up, and an eventual cross from Donati on the near side is met by Sam in the box who rises to nod in the game's first goal.
4'
The visitors look like they are going to put a shift in tonight. They are pressing les Parisiens very high up the pitch and attempting to restrict the space available in the centre of the field.
3'
GOOD SAVE! A good start from Leverkusen as they pack bodies behind the ball and pick apart the hosts' play through the middle. Rolfes finds Can and he bends a low shot towards Sirigu's left from distance. It looks to be heading wide, but the keeper dives across and parries it behind for a corner anyway.
1'
We are underway in Paris!
Can Bayer Leverkusen do the impossible? A four-goal deficit from the first leg has never previously been overturned in the Champions League knockout stages, and that is the feat facing Sami Hyypia's men as they travel to the Parc des Princes to face Paris Saint-Germain tonight. A place in the quarter-finals is at stake and I, Tom Webber, will be your host for the action.
It would take a miracle for the German's to progress tonight, and their recent form has been far from extraordinary. At the start of the year they were second in the Bundesliga, seven points behind Pep Guardiola's irrepressible Bayern Munich: now they sit in third place, 24 adrift of the leaders. Leverkusen now haven't won since their 1-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach on February 7.
It seems Hyypia may be resigned to elimination, with six changes made to the side that drew 1-1 with Hannover at the weekend. Son Heung-Min and Stefan Kiessling are rested, with Eren Derdiyok selected to lead the line while Gonzalo Castro will operate from the left. Laurent Blanc's seven changes, meanwhile, show just how confident he is of securing that spot in the last eight. Full line-ups on the way.
PSG are on the brink of a second successive Champions League quarter-final, and given their form at the Parc it is difficult to see any other outcome. Les Parisiens have a hugely impressive unbeaten home record in European competition which stretches back to 2006, encompassing 27 games.
The biggest losing margin a side has overturned in the Champions League knockout stages was achieved when Deportivo La Coruna lost 4-1 at AC Milan but won 4-0 at home in the 2003-04 quarter-finals. It's difficult to see Hyypia's men bettering that tonight, but anything can happen.
Ibrahimovic scored twice in the first-leg victory, and despite an ongoing back issue the big Swede starts yet again. His second goal in that 4-0 win was a fantastic left-foot rocket and when questioned about it being on his weak foot he gave a typical Zlatan response: "There is no wrong foot."
Only around five minutes to go until kick off now and the atmosphere is building at the Parc. The teams will be making their way out onto the pitch shortly for that hair-raising Champions League anthem.
The pre-match formaliities are all but over, so we will be underway shortly.
HALF TIME - PSG 1-1 Leverkusen (5-1 agg): Sam gave the visitors a shock early lead but Marquinhos levelled the game soon after. Rolfes had the chance to put the Germans back ahead near to the half hour mark but his penalty was saved by Sirigu. This game is far from over, but you can't help but feel the tie may well be. Stay tuned for the second half.
Welcome back! The second half will be underway shortly.
FULL TIME - PSG 2-1 Leverkusen (6-1 agg): After Sam had given Leverkusen hopes of a dramatic comeback, goals from Marquinhos and Lavezzi ensured victory on the night for the Ligue 1 outfit. It could have been different had Rolfes converted a penalty at 1-1, but with that and Can's second half dismissal it was always going to be an uphill battle.
Les Parisiens make it to their second consecutive Champions League quarter-final, joining Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in the hat for the next round. Leverkusen, meanwhile, must turn their attentions back to domestic affairs.
That is it from me, Tom Webber, for this evening. Until next time.
