G. Bale has scored a goal for Wales!
GOAL! 3-1 Wales and it is Gareth Bale with what is a truly sensational goal. Picking up the ball inside his own half, a late challenge from an opposing player forces Bale out of play, yet he manages to recover, return to the field and keep the ball in play. Powering down the right-wing, Bale then runs half the length of the field before cutting in, beating his man and unleashing a thunderous effort into the bottom left-hand corner from the edge of the box.
66'
Joe Allen is now wearing the armband for Wales after Ashley Williams went off to be replaced by Sam Ricketts.
64'
S. Vokes has scored a goal for Wales!
S. Ricketts enters the game and replaces A. Williams.
GOAL! Wales lead and it is Sam Vokes with what is a rather fortunate goal. Gareth Bale picks the ball up outwide on the right and runs at goal. Beating his man, the winger beats his man before beating Hannes Halldorsson with a powerful drive, only to be denied by a stunning goal-line block by Rotherham United's Kari Arnason. However, Sam Vokes is on hand to head the ball home into the empty net from all of a yard out.
61'
Wayne Hennessey is down after landing awkwardly falling a high Iceland ball into the penalty area. He looks like he will be able to continue however.
58'
Almost a debut goal from Emyr Huws as the ball falls kindly to him on the edge of the area. After Gareth Bales bamboozles his way into the box, his low, near post cross is cleared only to fall to Huws, however the youngster's strike at goal is rash and sails harmlessly over the bar.
56'
Wales are piling on the pressure as they look to put together a period of possession. Finding Gareth Bale as they look for a final ball, the Real Madrid star uncharacteristically fails to deliver.
52'
Hal Robson-Kanu embarks on a fine solo-run. With the Iceland defence backing off him, he attempts to catch out Hannes Halldorsson with an effort with the outside of his left foot from range. He failes to find the target however.

Hal Robson-Kanu comes close for Wales after being released down the right-hand side by Gareth Bale. Cutting in from the touchline, the winger completes a number of stepovers before curling an effort at goal, only for his strike to fly harmlessly off-target.
37'
Same Vokes feels he should have had a penalty after he is taken out by not one but two Iceland defenders in the area, finding himself sandwiched between the pair. The referee disagrees however and waves play on.
34'
James Collins almost puts Wales back ahead, only to scuff his half-volley into the ground after Ashley Williams had headed Joe Allen's corner back across goal into the West Ham defender's path.
30'
Iceland have come back into this game since their equaliser. They're holding onto possession well without really threatening Wales. Gareth Bale is not seeing as much of the ball as he was in the early minutes, and as a result Wales are looking nowhere near as threatening.
26'
A. Williams is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOAL! Against the run of play, Iceland equalise thanks to a deflected effort from Johann Gudmundsson which has gone in off Ashley Williams. Receiving the ball to the right of the penalty area after Wales fail to clear, the AZ Alkmaar midfielder curls a strike at goal with his left foot. Wayne Hennessey seemingly had what was a tame effort covered, only for a cruel deflection off Williams to take it past the Crystal Palace goalkeeper.
22'
It really should be 2-0 Wales and once again Gareth Bale is pulling the strings. Toying with the opposition, two Iceland defenders look on mesmorised as Bales leads them one way then another out on the right, before putting in a outrageous cross into the penalty area with the outside of his left foot. Hal Robson-Kanu connects with the header, but is unable to find the target.
20'
This time Joe Allen comes close for Wales. Receiving the ball 25 yards out from goal, the Liverpool man shimmies past one defender before firing a strike at goal. Off-balance however, his effort flies high and wide.

GOAL! Wales take the lead through James Collins! Gareth Bale wins a free-kick outwide on the right before stepping up to take the kick himself. Whipping a ball in to the far post, Collins rises highest to head the ball home for his first international goal in five years.
9'
A rare poor moment from Gareth Bale. On the ball in the corner, the winger tries a Johan Cruyff turn, only to trip over his own feet. Moments later Bale tries the trick again, this time pulling it off just to show he can do it.
3'
A slow start at the Cardiff City stadium so far. Gareth Bale has looked lively on the ball when allowed to run at the Iceland defence while Emyr Huws has also enjoyed a confident start to his international career.
2'
One change from Chris Coleman at the break as goalscorer James Collins limps off with a calf injury. Danny Gabbidon comes on in his place.

Iceland kick-off and the game is underway!
Good evening and welcome to Goal's live text commentary from tonight's international friendly between Wales and Iceland. My name is Theo Squires and I will be guiding you through all the action from the Cardiff City stadium, where manager Chris Coleman has named both the world's most expensive footballer and a Manchester City debutant in his starting XI. Full team news to follow shortly.
The main name in the Iceland side is that of Tottenham Hotspur playmaker and former Swansea City loanee Gylfi Sigurdsson. I wonder what sort of reception he'll receive tonight. Cardiff midfielder Aron Gunnarsson captains the side, while there is also a place in the starting XI for Rotherham United defender Kari Arnason.
One man the Wales defence will have to keep a close eye on tonight is striker Alfred Finnbogason. The SC Heerenveen forward has scored an almighty 22 goals in just 23 Eredivisie appearances so far this season.
So Gareth Bale starts for Wales, but all eyes won't be on the Real Madrid star tonight as Manchester City youngster Emyr Huws, on loan at Birmingham City makes his senior Welsh debut. Meanwhile, Ashley Williams has overcome illness to captain Wales, while in-form Burnley striker Sam Vokes is given a chance to impress in attack.
The two sides are out and kick-off is just moments away. Wales will wear their new, white away kit tonight while Iceland will be in all-blue.
Half-time at the Cardiff City Stadium and it is Wales 1-1 Iceland. James Collins headed home Gareth Bale's early free-kick to give Chris Coleman's side a deserved lead. However, Iceland equalised against the run of play courtesy of an Ashley Williams own goal, the Wales captain inadvertently diverting Johann Gudmundsson's goalbound effort into his own goal. Wales have been the better side with Bale and debutant Emyr Huws in particular impressing. Surely if the former sees more of the ball in the second half, it is only a matter of time before Wales again take the lead?
Goals from James Collins, Sam Vokes and Gareth Bale ensure Wales secure a comfortable 3-1 victory over Iceland. An Ashley Williams own goal had drawn Iceland level in the first half, but a Bale-inspired Wales fought back to claim a deserved win.
