Lichtsteiner covers well to deny Eder the opportunity to get in behind Marchisio, with the Brazilian looking exhausted following his second half efforts. Juventus sit back in their own half, waiting for Sampdoria to come to them, as the clock runs down.
90'
Three minutes have been awarded as second half stoppage time.
89'
Only a few minutes remaining, and the hosts are comfortable spraying the ball around, with Sampdoria now reluctant chasers. The away side have had a testing last few weeks, but Mihajlovic's side have shown in flashes why they should earn a respectable league finish this season.
87'
POGBA! The midfielder is set the ball back by Peluso, after a delicious crossfield pass on the turn from Quagliarella as the two substitutes combine. He fires towards the bottom right hand corner, but the ball skids wide of the target.
86'
F. Quagliarella enters the game and replaces Fernando Llorente.
S. Giovinco enters the game and replaces C. Tevez.
85'
Five minutes left on the clock, and Juve are happy to sit back in their own half and absorb the pressure exerted by their opponents. Chiellini gets up to head a teasing cross away from the awaiting Eder. The central defender has been imperious this evening.
83'
Good defending from Regini, as the defender stands tall and prevents Tevez from flicking the ball around the corner. The away side have been plucky and brave, but are running out of steam and motivation the longer this game goes on.
81'
Under ten minutes to go, and Juventus are well on course for a 12th consecutive Serie A victory. De Silvestre and Eder combine well inside the penalty area, before the Brazilian out muscles Ogbonna to earn a Sampdoria corner.
80'
F. Peluso enters the game and replaces K. Asamoah.
79'
Sampdoria won't be taking a share of the spoils now, with Pogba putting the icing on the cake for the hosts. Excellent strike, to probably wrap up the three points. There was nothing that any Sampdoria player could do about that goal, a wonderful strike from Pogba.
Minute
Description
78'
P. Pogba has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by A. Vidal.
OOOOOH WHAT A GOAL FROM POGBA! The Frenchman cuts in from the left hand side, before firing an absolute rocket into the top right hand corner, with Da Costa beaten. The Brazilian goalkeeper had absolotely no chance. Juve lead 4-2!
76'
TEVEZ! The Argentine fires a free kick effort through a ruck of players, with his powerful strike taking a small nick off a pair of legs. Da Costa is able to gather up the attempt, as Juve continue to struggle towards finding a fourth goal.
75'
D. Gastaldello gets yellow.
74'
Terrible ball from Pogba! The youngster breaks with Vidal, but couldn't find his Chilean teammate at the back post, with Costa being able to step in and clear the danger. The former Man United man throws his arms up in frustration, he knows that was a great opportunity.
73'
GABBIADINI! WHAT A STRIKE! He thumps the crossbar, after opening the ball up onto his left foot excellently! He dips a bending effort towards goal from 30 yards, and Buffon was nearly beaten!
72'
POGBA! A low drive thumps into the advertising boards, as the Frenchman's long range effort whistles past the post, though Da Costa probably had his angles covered. Juventus know that they need a fourth here.
71'
ASAMOAH! The Ghana international cuts inside from the left flank, but his shot is collected easily by Da Costa. Juventus need another goal to put this game beyond doubt, but Conte has plenty of excellent options on the bench at his disposal.
70'
G. Sansone enters the game and replaces P. Wszołek.
M. Gabbiadini has scored a goal for Sampdoria!
GOOOOOOAL! GABBIADINI CONVERTS TO MAKE IT 3-2! Yet another corner, and Sampdoria threaten again! Gabbiadini stabs the rebound home, after Buffon made a decent save to keep out the initial header! The away side are right back in this game!
69'
Chiellini gets the better of Gabbiadini once again, as the physically imposing defender continues to nullify the threat of Sampdoria's key man. Obiang drives forward, firing an effort towards goal after opening up his body, but Chiellini makes a good block.
67'
LLORENTE! The Spaniard is picked out by Pogba, but fails to find the back of the net with his head, with Da Costa claiming. The away side continue to feed plenty of service in towards the combined threat of Eder and Gabbiadini, but Buffon remains a relatively untested goalkeeper.
66'
Tevez is unhappy with the referee's decision to not award him a free kick, as Gastaldello steps in strongly ahead of the Argentine forward. Juventus are showing that they're prepared to play on the break, planting seeds of doubt into the minds of the Sampdoria players, who aren't as keen to press on in a gung-ho fashion.
64'
Vidal loses possession to Eder, before the Brazilian slips Gabbiadini in behind Chiellini, who forces the young forward onto his weaker foot. Conte shouts with frustration towards his midfielder, who replies with an angry gesture. Juve were let off the hook there by some clever defending from Chiellini.
62'
Sampdoria have the attacking impetus, with the Old Lady happy to sit in their shape and invite pressure onto themselves. Juventus break, with Llorente racing through one-on-one, but the Spaniard drags an effort hopelessly wide from the edge of the penalty area.
60'
WHAT A MISS FROM DE SILVESTRE! Wszolek capitalises on a lapse of concentration from Lichtsteiner, as the Polish midfielder skips in behind the wing-back to win a corner. It's floated in, before a header from De Silvestre appears to strike the foot of the unaware Buffon and loop over the crossbar.
59'
Good interplay from Sampdoria's midfield, as a quick one-two between Obiang and Renan drives the visitors upfield, before an attempted through ball to find Gabbiadini is inaccurate. Spirited stuff from Mihajlovic's men, but their only threat continues to be solely Gabbiadini.
57'
Just over half an hour remaining, and Juventus don't look like losing this game. Chances haven't been flowing in the second period for the hosts, but the away side aren't generating anything to trouble the likes of Ogbonna and Buffon. Sampdoria aren't out of the match, but it seems unlikely that they will find the net twice to restore parity.
55'
Important header by Asamoah to head a Costa delivery away from goal, after a good ball from the left-sided defender. Eder did excellently to wriggle his way out of a corner, despite Vidal and Lichtsteiner forcing him to the touchline, before setting the ball back to his supporting teammate.
54'
Juventus haven't started this second half as a dominant force, but Sampdoria have been unable to create any chances for themselves. Llorente and Tevez haven't had the service thus far in the second 45 minutes, but Pogba has been popping up everywhere.
53'
A. Costa enters the game and replaces S. Mustafi.
52'
Pogba attempts to get in behind the lines once again, but a long ball directed towards the France international bounces behind for a goal kick. The Juve midfielder is popping up in very advanced areas, causing Sampdoria's defensive line to always be wary of his positive runs.
51'
P. Wszołek gets yellow.
50'
Pogba does well to turn Mustafi well, before his luck runs out, with the covering De Silvestre collecting possession and clearing upfield. Excellent ball from Marchisio to release Pogba, the all-action midfielder has worked well in the absence of Pirlo thus far.
48'
Chiellini goes down injured in the aftermath of clearing a corner delivery away from goal, landing awkwardly on his arm after rising well. He'll be fine to continue, but that looked like a sore one for the Italy international defender.
47'
GABBIADINI! The forward fires in a bouncing free kick delivery, which flashes into the awaiting arms of Buffon, despite Gastaldello attempts to divert the flight of the cross. Chiellini is perhaps fortunate to not get a second yellow cards, after catching Eder in the face with a flailing arm.
46'
Renan Garcia enters the game and replaces B. Bjarnason.
And we are back underway in the second half in Turin, with Juventus having a comfortable cushion heading into the second 45 minutes. Two goals from Vidal in the first half have set Conte's side up nicely to achieve their 12th consecutive league win.
45' +1
REGINI! The full-back bombs forward down the left hand side, before his near post delivery is deflected behind for a corner kick. Palombo whips a delivery in towards Gabbiadini, but the Sampdoria danger man can't turn the ball toward goal.
45'
Great tenacity from Tevez, as the Argentine robs Regini of the ball after losing out to the full-back originally. One minute of stoppage time has been awarded in this first half.
43'
After a brief, spirited fight back from the visiting side, the Old Lady are firmly back in the driving seat now. There was no doubt as the Chilean stepped up to take the penalty kick, with the midfielder being the renowned specialist that he is. Only a few minutes until the break, and Sampdoria could do with another goal before they head back to the dressing room.
41'
V. Regini gets yellow.
Penalty goal scored by A. Vidal for Juventus!
PENALTY TO JUVENTUS! Regini brings down Vidal, receiving a yellow card for his troubles. Marchisio slips the ball in behind the full-back, who clips the heels of the Chile international.
GOOOOOOOAL! JUVENTUS MAKE IT 3-1! Vidal thumps the ball down the centre of the goal to convert his penalty, bagging his second goal of the game. Da Costa dives to his right, as Vidal thumped home composedly.
39'
Despite conceding twice early on, the away side are showing that they aren't prepared to take a beating at the hands of their esteemed opponents. Gabbiadini is constantly a willing runner, and as now merely a goal separates the two sides, their set pieces could prove fruitful.
38'
A. Barzagli is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOOOOOOOAL! SAMPDORIA ARE BACK IN THE GAME! It's a bit of a mix-up, after Gabbiadini forces the ball goalwards, as a sliding challenge from Barzagli puts the ball beyond Buffon, who was wrongfooted! The away side are back in with a shout!
37'
Sampdoria enjoy a long spell of possession, much to the delight of the travelling fans, but are unable to create anything of note. The away side have managed to get their hands on plenty of corner kicks, but have offered very little otherwise.
35'
Pogba and Vidal look to play a quick one-two to unlock the visiting defence, but the Chilean goalscorer can't find the return pass, as the attack breaks down. Sampdoria look quite dangerous on the break, but Gabbiadini continues to be their only real threat.
33'
Lichtsteiner is heavily involved as always, but the Swiss has struggled to get the better of Regini so far, as the left-back hasn't given his man the yard of space required to swing in a cross. Frustrating from the wing-back.
31'
A strong opening half hour for the reigning champions, though Sampdoria haven't been entirely devoid of attacking ideas. The Old Lady have moved the ball around well, with both Llorente and Tevez being heavily involved in a quite direct style of play.
30'
GABBIADINI! The man who won the free kick takes it himself, but the wall does its job, deflecting a powerful effort wide of the target for yet another corner for Sampdoria. Mustafi gets on the end of it, but the German midfielder send the ball high and wide.
29'
G. Chiellini gets yellow.
Gabbiadini is causing all kinds of problems in the opening stages, committing Juventus defenders and being willing to try his luck from range. The youngster picks up a free kick on the edge of the box for his side, as Chiellini hacks him down clumsily, receiving a booking.
27'
TEVEZ! FANTASTIC SAVE BY DA COSTA! A reflex save has kept the away side in the game! The Argentine strikes the post, with the Brazilian's following touch deflecting the shot away from goal! That could so easily have been game over within half an hour.
26'
GABBIADINI! MUSTAFI! Sampdoria win another corner, with the visitors aiming their set piece towards the edge of the box. Gabbiadini meets it with a volley, which is blocked, before Mustafi gets on the end of the rebound and forces Buffon into his second save of the game.
24'
Fernando Llorente has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by C. Tevez.
GOOOOOOOAL! LLORENTE MAKES IT TWO, THUMPING HOME A HEADER! Asamoah rasps a low drive wide of the target, before claiming for a corner, as Obiang is judged to have deflected the shot wide of the target. The corner is flighted in, before the Spaniard rises brilliantly to power a header into the top right hand corner.
23'
Gastaldello charges towards the back post to meet a good corner delivery, but can only divert his header wide of the target. Buffon was flapping, but the Sampdoria defender couldn't stretch enough to get accurate contact on the cross.
21'
GABBIADINI! The Sampdoria man is found in behind Juve's lines, forcing Buffon to palm away a powerful strike which was heading towards his near post. The linesman's flag is raised for offside however, as the youngster made his intelligent run a second too early.
20'
GABBIADINI! The Sampdoria forward cuts inside onto his left foot, dipping an effort narrowly wide of the back post with Buffon beaten. Juve's dominance has been rewarded by an opening goal, and the hosts look very comfortable here tonight.
18'
A. Vidal has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by P. Pogba.
GOOOOOOOOAL! WHAT A GREAT MOVE BY JUVENTUS, THEY LEAD 1-0! Pogba threads a delicious ball through Sampdoria's high line, feeding in Vidal, who flicks the ball beyond Da Costa with a deft touch. Beautiful ball and finish!
17'
POGBA! A poor effort from the Frenchman, curling a free kick well over the target, but Juventus will be pleased with their start nonetheless. Conte's men have dominated possession, with Buffon remaining untested. The sooner they can find their first goal, the better for Old Lady.
15'
TEVEZ! The Argentina international fires a close-range half volley over the angle of the woodwork from eight yards, after brilliant work from Llorente to hold up the ball and feed it back to his strike partner whilst under extreme pressure.
14'
Regini cuts across well to divert a Vidal through ball away from the danger area, with the Italian left-back being called into action plenty of times in the opening quarter of an hour. Alert defending from the Sampdoria man, but Juventus continue to dominate.
12'
CHIELLINI! The central defender, who made his 300th appearance last week, tests Da Costa and forces a good block in quick succession with either foot, but the Brazilian is equal to it. Great cut-back to the edge of the box by Pogba, who picked out the imposing Italian brilliantly.
11'
Good defensive header from De Silvestre, as the full-back directs Tevez's free kick delivery out for a throw in on the far side. The throw-in is taken long, finding Tevez at the back post, but Regini is able to scramble the ball clear.
10'
Gastadello fouls Tevez, in the referee's eyes, and the offender shares his thoughts with the referee and Lichtsteiner. He clearly feels that the Argentine was playing for the free kick and went down softly, and he perhaps has a point.
8'
The home side continue to exert their dominance, with Sampdoria yet to break their way into the Juve penalty area. Lichtsteiner tries to knock the ball around Regini and beat the full-back for pace, but the Swiss hasn't got the legs to get down the outside of his marker.
7'
Poor ball from Pogba! The young midfielder looks to receive the ball from Vidal, before lifting the ball delicately over the Sampdoria back four in search of the onrushing Tevez, but the former Man United man puts too much on it. The visitors enjoy their first spell of possession.
5'
VIDAL! The game's first corner, given to Juventus, is swung in. The Chile international is picked out, but scuffs his attempted volley, before Sampdoria clear the danger at the second attempt. A promising start and early pressure from the hosts.
4'
Juventus start the game composedly, with Tevez being given plenty of the ball in the opening stages. Lichtsteiner and Asamoah have already been picked out in acres of space on the flanks, and Conte's wing-backs look set to be very important yet again as the Old Lady look to extend their winning streak.
2'
Pogba has been pushed forward, with Marchisio dropping in to fill the void left by Pirlo, giving the Frenchman more freedom to bomb on. Juve co-owned forward Gabbiadini goes down with a knock early on, and Chiellini sportingly puts the ball out of play. First chance falls to Juventus, with Asamoah cushioning a back post half volley at Da Costa.
1'
We are underway in the first half! The home side will be looking for their 12th consecutive win, as Conte's men look to extend their record Serie A run. The stats point towards a home win, but Sampdoria have been complimented on their resurgence since the appointment of Mihajlovic, but two players are suspended for tonight's game, weakening the Serb's preferred starting eleven.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of today's late Serie A kick off, as league leaders Juventus host Sampdoria. The Old Lady are in excellent form, winning their last five games in all competitions, and have only lost six games on home soil to tonight's adversaries in the league's history. A stern test for Sinisa Mihajlovic's side, as Juve have set out a strong line-up to face them.
I'm Simon Harrison, and I will be leading you through all of the action in Turin, as Juventus look to regain their eight point lead at the top of the pile. Sampdoria arrive in search of vital points, which will help to lift them out of the relegation dogfight, with only five points separating themselves and the drop zone.
TEAM NEWS: Andrea Pirlo and Leonardo Bonucci are given rests, as Antonio Conte brings in Ogbonna and Marchisio to replace them. Paolo de Ceglie will no longer be in the black and white of Juve this season, as the left-back has joined Genoa on a loan deal until the end of the season. A predictable and strong line-up for the hosts.
Sampdoria have picked up only one win in their last three games, with their solitary victory during this period being a comfortable scenario against the nine men of Udinese. The visitors have some threats, in the forms of Eder and Gabbiadini, but it's hard to look beyond the reigning champions for the win tonight. Strong in every department, and headed by the ever-improving partnership of Llorente and Tevez, Conte will be targetting three points in the Juventus Stadium this evening.
Less than five minutes until kick-off, as Sampdoria look to upset the league leaders by putting up a fight this evening. The away side didn't manage to score against the likes of Roma and Napoli in recent weeks, but Juventus did struggle for a large portion of their game against Cagliari. On home soil, it looks as though the Old Lady will have their way.
HALF TIME! The home side go into the dressing room with a commanding lead, despite Sampdoria fighting back courtesy of a Barzagli own goal. Goals from Vidal and Llorente give the Old Lady a firm base to start the second half, after a confident display from Conte's men.
A penalty won by Vidal has perhaps made the half time score rather flattering, but Juventus' dominance in the early stages was deserving of a reasonably sized cushion. Gabbiadini has been at the heart of anything dangerous from the away side, with corners being their only consistent supply of chances.
Be sure to rejoin our live coverage of the second half in around ten minutes, as the Serie A leaders look to efficiently wrap up the three points against a spirited Sampdoria outfit.
FULL TIME! Juventus win 4-2 against Sampdoria, making it 12 consecutive wins in Serie A, thanks to goals from Vidal, Llorente and Pogba. The home side laboured at times, but they dragged themselves over the line, courtesy of a wonder strike from Pogba.
Gabbiadini was the livewire for the visitors, scoring once and going close on two other occasions for Sampdoria, but an all-action first half an hour, and an efficient last 20 minutes saw Conte's men over the line. Juventus regain their eight point lead on the top of the pile.
That's all we have time for from our live coverage of Juventus' hard fought 4-2 Serie A victory over Sampdoria, as the Old Lady continue their fine league form. I've been Simon Harrison, and I hope to see you again next time.
