Chivuta sends in a poor corner which is cleared away by Brazil. Zambia are again given time to attack by the referee but they are unable to create an opportunity to test Cavalieri.
90' +4
I do not think this referee bothers listening to the amount of time added on according to the fourth official!
90' +2
R. Kola enters the game and replaces J. Mulenga.
That was never going in! Zambia look to break after a loose pass in midfield from the Selecao but Chivuta's shot flew well wide of the target.
90' +1
J. Musonda enters the game and replaces C. Katongo.
We are into the first of an additional four minutes.
89'
Brazil look content to just keep hold of the ball and see this one out now. Scolari looks far less agitated than he did before the break. Plenty for him to think over after this match.
87'
Another chance for Oscar to add to his tally for the evening as he is played in behind the defence by a cracking pass from Jo. He rides the challenge from the defender but is beaten to the ball by the keeper, who collects it calmly.
86'
B. Musakanya enters the game and replaces C. Lungu.
Well anticipated by Mweene. The keeper rushes out of goal and gathers Oscar's cross before Bernard can supply a finishing touch at the back post. The Chelsea man has been brilliant since coming on.
84'
That would have been sublime! Bernard turns fantastically just outside the area and feeds Maxwell with a ball out to the left. Jo is waiting to convert at the back post but the left-back fires his cross high and behind for a goal kick.
82'
Thumping effort! Hulk unleashses one of his trademark thunderous shots from distance which has the keeper scrambling across his goal. The forward hit the ball extremely true, but failed to bend it back inside the post.
81'
OSCAR MUST SCORE!! The midfielder should have had his second goal of the night as he has time to pick his spot from 12 yards out in the centre of the box, yet he is unable to find the corner of the goal and Mweene saves.
Minute
Description
80'
Bernard enters the game and replaces Neymar.
The Zambia defence can breathe, Neymar has been substituted. They won't have much relief, though, as Bernard enters the fray!
79'
Zambia have done well to keep a hold of the ball since that Neymar effort. They've passed it impressively but yet again they have failed to make the most of it and test Cavalieri.
77'
N. Chivuta enters the game and replaces F. Tembo.
76'
Stunning from Neymar! He carries the ball from left to right, breezing past players like they are not even there. He then pulls the trigger from just inside the area but the shot is blocked and it goes out for a corner.
74'
A good spell of pressure from Zambia in the last few moments but they are unable to get a shot away to test Cavalieri. The Fluminense keeper has had a rather quiet evening, though he would no doubt have liked to have shown his shot-stopping ability.
72'
WASTED!! Another set play is not attacked convincingly by Zambia, but a loose ball falls to Chama at the back post. He is quickly closed but opts to strike for goal from an acute angle anyway, but that was never going to hit the target.
70'
Henrique enters the game and replaces David Luiz.
Maxwell has been impressive this afternoon, showing good judgement on when to attack and when to hold off. That will certainly be noted by Scolari who is still yet to settle on a second-choice left-back behind Marcelo.
68'
Another set play wasted by Zambia as Tembo's delivery is again headed away by the Brazilian defence. They have really failed to make the most of their set pieces this afternoon.
67'
J. Chamanga enters the game and replaces E. Mayuka.
66'
Dedé has scored a goal for Brazil! Assist by Neymar.
GOOOOAAL!! Neymar whips in the free kick which he won and Dede peels away form his marker to head in Brazil's second goal of the game. The centre-back scores his first goal for the national team!
65'
Fantastic skills from Neymar! He beats Chisenga down by the corner flag with a sublime 'elastico' that wins his side a free kick in a very dangerous area.
64'
A lovely move from the Selecao sees Hulk go through on goal, latching onto an exquisite reverse pass by Oscar that he squeezed through the channel. However, the flag is raised for a very close offside decision.
63'
Hernanes enters the game and replaces Paulinho.
62'
J. Chisenga enters the game and replaces K. Chongo.
Brazil nearly add a second! Neymar has his shot blocked inside the area but the loose ball falls to Paulinho, some way from goal. He lashes a first-time effort at goal which looks destined to arrow into the roof of the net, but it rises a little too much and goes over the top.
59'
Oscar has scored a goal for Brazil! Assist by Paulinho.
GOOOOOAALL!! OSCAR! The deadlock is finally broken after a short-corner is eventually worked to the Chelsea man. He cuts inside of Mayuka too easily and looses a shot from 20 yards. It seems to take a deflection which sees it loop up and over Mweene before settling in the back of the net.
56'
What a chance! Moments after Tembo's free kick is held at the near post by Cavalieri, Brazil counter. A brilliant pass up to Dani Alves puts the right-back in one-on-one but he fails to make a decent connection with the ball and guide it past Mweene.
55'
SAVED!! Mweene dives to his right and parries the centre-back's effort away, but he did not look particularly convincing in the process. Nevertheless, the danger is cleared.
54'
This could be dangerous for Zambia! Tembo pulls Neymar down just over 20 yards from goal on the near side. David Luiz stands over it...
52'
Oscar attempts to run in behind the defence to get on the end of Neymar's cross at the back post but he is adjudged to have been offside when the ball was played.
51'
ALMOST!! Tembo's effort from distance is rather poor, but a deflection angles it across goal towards Mayuka. He stretches out a leg in an attempt to divert it on target but the ball is just out of his reach. That is a let off for the Selecao.
49'
Scolari does not look overly happy on the touchline and I cannot say I am surprised. Brazil really lacking conviction at the moment, but to their credit Zambia have largely been very well-drilled and are not conceding a lot of space in the final third.
47'
Disappointing halves for both Lucas Moura and Pato have seen them withdrawn at the break. Hulk and Jo replace them, while Ramires makes way for Oscar.
46'
Jô enters the game and replaces Lucas Moura.
Hulk enters the game and replaces Alexandre Pato.
Oscar enters the game and replaces Ramires.
The second half has begun!
45' +3
Neymar clips it in but Brazil fail to make anything of it and the half-time whistle goes.
45' +2
We're over the allocated additional time but Brazil now have a free kick on the near side, just outside the area...
45'
Just one minute of additional time to be played.
44'
NEYMAR!! He dribbles into the area, holding off the challenge of three green shirts, and sends a left-footed effort towards the far corner. His shot is low but Mweene manages to get something on it which diverts the ball behind for a corner.
43'
DRAMATICS!! Mayuka is once more the danger man for the Chipolopolo, but once more he fails to get in behind the defence. He moves the ball past Dede but cannot get around the towering defender and instead opts to go to ground holding his face. Never a penalty.
42'
A sloppy pass from Dani Alves hands possession straight to Zambia who instantly look to turn and break. The right-back, eager to make amends, catches up with play instantly and brings Katongo to ground to halt the attack.
41'
SAVED!! Good movement from Pato there, which is certainly a positive sign. He gets in front of his marker and angles Dani Alves' cross towards goal with his head, but is unable to guide it either side of Mweene who catches comfortably.
40'
Tembo does well to bring the ball down inside the Brazil half but he is completely unchallenged as he does so. It gives him time to attempt to find Mulenga, but David Luiz shepherds the ball back to Cavalieri.
38'
Neymar is orchestrating everything up top for Brazil and this time he races across the top of the box from the far side before slipping a pass to Dani Alves. The right-back attempts to send a first-time cross into the area but Chama makes an important block.
37'
Excellent play from Maxwell as he bursts forward and manages to keep the ball in play. He moves towards the byeline and stands up a great cross for Neymar on the penalty spot, but the Barcelona forward fails to divert his header on target.
36'
A slight break in play here as Chongo goes down after colliding with Lucas Moura in the aftermath of that previous move. It was purely accidental and hopefully it is nothing too serious.
34'
A good knock-down from Pato gives Lucas Moura the opportunity to shoot on the volley from just outside the area. He is forced to take it early as green shirts race towards him and he therefore slices across it, and a deflection almost sends it out for a throw in.
33'
A Selecao attack breaks down and Zambia quickly look to break. The ball is fed into Mulenga but Dede is on him in a flash and wins possession straight back for his team. the centre-back pairing have not had an awful lot to do so far.
31'
Brazil are now looking to control the tempo by holding onto the ball a bit deeper. Neymar drops back into his own half to get in possession but is brought down as he attempts to turn and race into the opposing territory.
29'
A brilliant cross from Ramires causes Mweene a bit of a worry but the keeper manages to get a fist to the ball before David Luiz can get on the end of it at the back post. The game slightly beginning to peter out now.
27'
Mayuka has been rather impressive for Zambia so far. This time he picks the pocket of Lucas Moura and charges down the field to relieve the pressure on his team-mates. He is chased down by Dani Alves but the right-back fouls him in his attempts to regain possession.
25'
Pato is really struggling with his touch at the moment. He seems unable to get it right, either trapping the ball dead and finding it difficult to get it out of his feet, or putting far too much on it. Not the kind of performance he would have wanted to be putting in here.
23'
Lucas Moura is down on the running track behind the goal after being muscled off the ball by Mulenga. That was good tracking back and defending to keep the former Sao Paulo man at bay.
21'
LUCAS MOURA... WIDE! The PSG man drifted inside from the right and picked up the ball 30 yards from goal. He shifted it out of his feet with one touch and struck it with the next, but was forced to watch his effort arrow narrowly wide of the goal.
18'
What a waste! Neymar does brilliantly to glide his way into the box and lay a square pass for Pato. One-on-one with the keeper and with the whole goal to aim at, the Corinthians forward's touch lets him down and he ends up trapping the ball behind him!
17'
A couple of shaky moments for Brazil, as firstly Cavalieri has to rush off his line in order to stop Zambia latching onto a short header back to him, and then the keeper is forced to hold Mulenga's effort from distance. It was a pretty tame one, mind.
15'
JUST WIDE!! A fantastic one-two between Ramires and Neymar puts the former through on goal. Mweene rushes out to force the Chelsea midfielder into shooting, and his attempt to clip the ball inside the far post drops just outside of the goal.
14'
Ambitious! An awful clearance falls straight at Pato's feet and, with the goalkeeper off his line, the striker attempts to lift the ball over the keeper and into the back of the net. He fails to aim his attempt correctly, though, and he misses the target.
13'
Mayuka feels he should have been awarded a free kick! Having carried the ball in from the left he looked to drive between the space between Dani Alves and Dede, but the Barcelona man uses his strength to wrest the ball from the Zambian.
11'
Ramires releases Neymar with a long ball from deep angled out towards the left. He attempts to cut inside of Himonde but his control slips and enables the defender to get a foot in and halt the attack.
10'
Well, after that sloppy opening few minutes Zambia are starting to give a better acount of themselves now. They are not as rushed in possession and are battling well in midfield.
8'
Now it is Zambia's turn to get the ball in the box as Paulinho brings down Katongo with a tackle from behind on the far side. Tembo is the man to deliver the free kick, but he fails to find a team-mate inside the area and Brazil manage to clear the danger.
6'
This has been a great start from the Brazilians! This time it is Dani Alves who gets an effort away on goal, striking a loose, bouncing ball just inside the area. He cut across it to put plenty of swerve on it but he failed to keep it down and guide it on target.
4'
Not a great start for Mweene as he is almost caught on the ball inside his own area by Pato, but he just about manages to send a clearance towards the centre circle. The keeper really cannot be taking risks like that!
3'
OFF THE BAR!! Neymar nearly opens the scoring inside three minutes with a brilliantly-struck free kick. He carressed the ball towards the top corner with his right foot which had the beating of Mweene, but he managed to scramble away the rebound before Pato could get on the end of it.
2'
Lucas Moura shows a great turn of pace to get away from his marker and he lays the ball off to Neymar. The Barcelona man attempts to hold up the play but is brought to ground in a central position, roughly 25 yards out. They will no doubt shoot from this...

We are under way in Beijing!
Hello and welcome to this afternoon's LIVE text commentary on the international friendly clash between Brazil and Zambia at the inconic Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing, China. My name is Tom Webber and I will be guiding you through all the action today.
The Selecao will be keen to earn their fourth straight victory this afternoon, and they face a Zambia side who are two games without a win following a draw and loss to Senegal and Ghana respectively. The teams have been announced and they will be coming to you imminently.
Brazil (4-3-3): Cavalieri; Dani Alves, Dede, David Luiz, Maxwell; Lucas Leiva, Paulinho, Ramires; Lucas Moura, Pato, Neymar.
Patrice Beaumelle will lead the Chipolopolo out against the South American giantstoday , having been offered the coach's job on an interim basis following the departure of Herve Renard. Not a bad game to start out in!
The Selecao are without Julio Cesar, Thiago Silva and Fred due to injury this afternoon, so Diego Cavalieri begins in goal while Dede and Alexandre Pato are also offered oppotunities from the start. They are just a few of a number of changes for Brazil following their 2-0 win over South Korea.
This is the first official meeting between these two sides and hopefully we are in store for a cracker. Every player in this Brazil line-up will be keen to impress in order to force themselves into Luiz Felipe Scolari's squad for the World Cup next summer. Zambia, meanwhile, will no doubt relish the opportunity to challenge one of world football's greatest nations as they continue their rise to prominence.
Like the Selecao, the Chipolopolo have lost just twice this year. However, Brazil have a Confederations Cup title to their name while Zambia were unable to defend the African Cup of Nations title that they won in 2012.
The teams are out on the pitch in Beijing and the national anthems are ringning around the stadium. Not long until kick off now!
There is a fairly impressive turnout at the Bird's Nest today, but Brazilians are no strangers to playing in from of half-empty stadiums!
HALF TIME - Brazil 0-0 Zambia: The Selecao have had the better of the chances, and have also dominated possession, but have yet to find a way past Mweene. Neymar has been instrumental and came the closest to opening the scoring, but with 45 minutes played the score remains level. Join me in 15 minutes for the second half.
Welcome back! The second half will be upon us in a few moments.
FULL TIME - Brazil 2-0 Zambia: A far more convincing second-half display from the Selecao, who secure their fourth straight win with goals from Oscar and Dede. The Chipolopolo were compact and organised for the most part, but Brazil's quality eventually shone through.
That is it from me, Tom Webber, for this afternoon. Enjoy the rest of your day!
