That's just about all from me, Ryan Bailey, this evening. Until next time, goodbye!
90' +3
R. Kienast enters the game and replaces P. Hosiner.
FULL-TIME! Zenit 0-0 Austria Vienna
All over in St Petersburg. Axel Witsel's sending off took the sting out of Zenit, but Austria Wien more than matched the home side, with captain Manuel Ortlechner proving to be a rock in defence. Hulk hit the woodwork in the first half, but the Russian side ultimately came up short.
90'
Three minutes added time.
88'
T. Murg gets yellow.
Zenit get a late free kick in a great position, but Hulk's strike is too central and goes straight into the hands of Lindner. Either side of the goalkeeper and that could have spelled trouble for Vienna.
87'
D. Criscito enters the game and replaces A. Anyukov.
86'
SUB! A final change for Zenit has Criscito on for Anjukov.
85'
Smolnikov taken out of the action late by Murg, who picks up a booking.
81'
R. Okotie enters the game and replaces M. Leovac.
79'
SUB: Another change for Vienna as Leovac comes off for Okotie.
77'
Vienna have been slightly the better side over the past 10 minutes, but one goal now for either side is likely to win this match with just thirteen remaining...
Minute
Description
76'
To be fair to Zenit, they haven't let their numerical disadvantage hamper their chances of getting a result out of this match. They're trying to attack with gusto, but the Vienna defence is currently standing firm.
73'
C. Ramsebner gets yellow.
CLOSE! The resulting free kick sees Hulk drill a powerful shot towards goal, but his effort goes narrowly wide of the post. That was incredibly close to creeping in the far post.
72'
T. Hubočan gets yellow.
71'
YELLOW! Another booking follows soon after as Zenit's Hubocan cynically takes down Hosiner before a third yellow card in as many minutes, with Ramsebner tripping Danny on the edge of the box.
70'
M. Leovac gets yellow.
YELLOW! Vienna forward Leovac is the latest player to go into the book, this time for hacking down Danny from behind.
67'
Zenit are playing some attractive, one touch football, but are finding it difficult to create any clear opportunities for themselves. Austria Wien appear to be growing in belief that they could win this game, and are being much more direct.
65'
A. Arshavin enters the game and replaces A. Kerzhakov.
SUB! A second change for Zenit here as Arshavin comes on for Kerzhakov. Can the former Arsenal man make a difference? Get in touch on Twitter @RyanBailey37
63'
Murg is involved yet again as he whips a wonderful cross into the area, though no one is there to convert. That was a fantastic delivery, the kind of thing that has been missing for both sides tonight.
61'
The ball falls to substitute Murg on the edge of the area, but the youngster's fierce effort flies well over the crossbar. He had time to take a touch and compose himself there.
60'
An hour gone and it's still goalless between these two sides. However, if anyone looks likely to find the opening goal then it's Vienna. They definitely look keen to seize their chance considering that they have the extra man.
58'
T. Murg enters the game and replaces D. Royer.
57'
SUB: The visitors now make their first swap of the contest as Royer is replaced by the young striker Murg. Royers looks to have been forced off with a slight knock.
56'
Ball breaks to Anyukov in the Vienna box, but he smashes the effort well wide of goal.
55'
SAVE! Zenit almost make the breakthrough thanks to Danny, only for the playmaker's effort to be parried away by Lindner. We've seen some unorthodox goalkeeping tonight and that was no different. Meanwhile, Aniukov shanks his shot wide from the resulting corner.
52'
Vienna have the ball in the net but it won't count as the referee blows up for a foul on Zenit goalkeeper Lodigin following a cross.
51'
STAT! Austria Vienna had the worst passing success rate on the opening matchday of this season’s Champions League - 71.7 percent. Should surely see some more of the ball in this second half.
50'
R. Shirokov enters the game and replaces O. Shatov.
48'
SUB: Shirokov replaces Shatov just a couple of minutes into the second-half. Meanwhile, Andrei Arshavin continues to warm-up on the sidelines.
46'
The visitors get us back under-way in St Petersburg, with neither side making any changes at the break.
The visitors have the first attempt at goal after the break as Suttner lashes a speculative effort well wide from about 30 yards.
45'
It would be an understatement to say the home fans and indeed players are far from happy by that decision.
44'
A. Witsel goes off after a red card!
The Belgian international lunged in, but it was far from excessively aggressive. How important could that decision be to the outcome of this match? We have two minutes of added time.
43'
OFF! The German official shows Axel Witsel a straight red card for a challenge on Mader - replays suggest it was extremely harsh.
41'
CHANCE! Close for Vienna! Lombaerts gives the ball away sloppily to Hosiner, who runs at the Zenit goal with intent. He eventually gets his shot away from the edge of the area, only to see it fly inches wide of the post.
40'
Suttner concedes a free-kick for a foul on Anyukov. Hulk's free-kick is cleared before the corner is knocked away seconds later. All too predictable.
39'
Despite plenty of possession, Zenit are lacking the cutting edge in the final third. Five minutes until the break and a couple of shots apart, the visitors have been fairly comfortable.
37'
STAT: Qualifiers excluded, Austria Vienna have only won four of their last 25 games in European competition - six draws, 15 defeats.
35'
The one area that Zenit will be frustrated with at the moment is their crossing. The Russians are keen to spread the ball out wide whenever they get the chance to do so, only for the end product to be poor. There have been some good balls into the area, though those are few and far between.
33'
That was the best opportunity of the match so far for Zenit. Aleksandr Kerzhakov will likely be disappointed he did not get his shot on target.
32'
Austria Wien leave themselves open at the back, and it is two against two. Hulk drives at the visitors' defence, then plays the ball to Aleksandr Kerzhakov to the left of goal, but he striker slices his shot wide.
30'
Zenit carve themselves out a decent chance as Smolnikov slides a great cross into the box, but two Zenit players seem to get their feet wrong as the ball goes past them and into the possession of Vienna.
27'
A moment of slight panic for Zenit there as their goalkeeper Lodigin gets absolutely nowhere near a cross. Thankfully for him, there's a defender close by to hoof away the danger. That was dreadful goalkeeping.
25'
Nicolas Lombaerts has a header at the opposition goal that is frantically scrambled away before Witsel requires attention for a cut to the head.
23'
D. Royer gets yellow.
YELLOW! Royer goes into the referee's book for a late challenge before Mader tests the handling of Lodygin.
21'
Lindner to the rescue again for Vienna as he manages to hold Lombaerts's header after the defender directed Hulk's floated free kick towards goal. Zenit are starting to take real control now.
19'
SAVE! Hulk forces Linder into action again after a nice one-two with Danny creates the space but the 'keeper is up to the task once again. He could be a busy man this evening.
17'
Danny sees an effort blocked by Suttner after being picked out by Witsel. It's been a bright start by Zenit but no reward as of yet.
15'
Alexander Kerzhakov almost on the end of a Hulk pass. This game has been quite open so far and both sides have gone close but the hosts look more incisive in the final third.
14'
SAVE! Now Vienna go close through Royer! He's been lively so far, and he almost found the net but for Lodigin's unorthodox save to bat away his strike from the edge of the area.
12'
POST! Nearly the opening goal for Zenit and their Brazilian striker Hulk! The burly forward fizzes a shot on target from 18 yards, only to see his effort tipped onto the post by the fingertips of goalkeeper Lindner.
11'
CHANCE! Vienna's best spell of the match sees Royer pick the ball up down the right side before drilling a cross into the box, but no one is there to convert. That was a great delivery which was begging for someone to get on the end of.
10'
STAT: Igor Smolnikov's yellow card in the 4th minute is the fastest this season and the fastest in CL history for a Russian player.
8'
Something of a half chance for Shatov on the edge of the area as the Zenit forward miscues his shot before the visitors hack the ball away. A cleaner connection there and who knows what might have happened.
7'
Danny shows lovely skill down the left wing, weaving his way past the Vienna defender before the move breaks down due to a poor exchange of passes with Smolnikov. It's still Zenit doing the majority of the pressing.
6'
As expected, Zenit are controlling things from the off. Vienna are struggling to get hold of the ball as the home side passes it around with confidence.
5'
From the resulting free-kick, Simkovic bends his effort around the wall but also over the crossbar.
4'
I. Smolnikov gets yellow.
3'
The visitors deal with the set-piece comfortably and look to break before Royer is hacked down on the edge of the area by Smolnikov, with the defender rightly shown a yellow card.
2'
Austria Vienna need to watch out for Hulk. The Brazilian striker has scored on each of his last six appearances for Zenit, netting seven goals in all and he wins an early corner.

The hosts, in their light blue kit, get us underway...
Good evening and welcome to LIVE play-by-play coverage of the Champions League Group G clash between Zenit St Petersburg and Austria Vienna from Stadion Petrovski. Kick-off is at 5pm GMT and is just twenty minutes away...
Both of these teams come into this evening's game having lost their respective openers a fortnight ago. A defeat for either here would be an almost fatal blow in terms of progressing through to the knock-out stages with Atletico Madrid and Porto the other two sides in Group G.
Zenit's campaign could hardly have got off to a worse start as they were beaten 3-1 by Atletico Madrid in Spain while, went down at home to Porto 1-0.
Domestically, Zenit are currently enjoying a strong campaign in the Russian Premier League. They sit three points clear at the top of the table after 11 matches, with eight wins and just one defeat coming in that time.
STAT: A look at Zenit's home form would suggest this will not be a simple task for Austria Vienna. The Russian side have won five of their last six home outings in Europe, and have lost just one of their last 23.
Nenad Bjelica, Austria coach: "Zenit are strong opponents, who must be handled with good football from ourselves. This will also be an opportunity for our players to prove themselves."
Just before the players emerge from the tunnel, a quick look at the head-to-head record between these sides. Put simply, Zenit have beaten Vienna on all three occasions that they have met. Two of those meetings came in 2006, while the last match was 2009. In all three fixtures, Vienna have failed to score.
We're just moments away from kick-off in Petersburg as the players emerge from the changing rooms to a warm reception. As we've become accustomed to in Russia, temperatures are pretty low at the Stadion Petrovski with players on both sides sporting gloves.
The pre-match rituals are over as both captains and the German official conduct the coin toss and we're all set....
And that's half-time!
What an explosive end to the half! Up until that point, Zenit had enjoyed the majority of possession and had created some decent chances, but they failed to break the deadlock. Vienna looked threatening on the break, and they will really fancy their prospects now with the extra man.
