CHANCE! Bony rises highest to meet a right-wing cross from Pozuelo but he sends it over the bar.
88'
So the visiting fans have something to cheer about at last, an away goal. What a great finish from Grozav. Perfect execution.
87'
G. Grozav has scored a goal for Petrolul Ploieşti! Assist by Guilherme.
GOAL! Swansea 5-1 Petrolul. Where did that come from!? Fabulous goal from Grozav, as he scores a brilliant overhead kick from near the penalty spot. Wow.
83'
Swansea break forward as Pozuelo crosses for Michu at the far post. The striker directs his header on target but is denied by the leg of a defender and the resulting corner comes to nothing.
81'
SHOT! Camara tricks his way past his man and shoots from outside the area. Simple save for Vorm but better from Petrolul - it's only taken 80 minutes.
78'
Petrolul finally show some intent as Dore gets his head on a cross into the box, but the striker climbs on Flores' back to do so and concedes a free kick.
77'
I can see a very low-key finish to this game as Swansea have eased off now and there's no way back for the visitors.
76'
Michu gets on the end of a Rangel cross from the right but volleys over.
Minute
Description
71'
J. Amat enters the game and replaces A. Williams.
Laudrup is thinking about Swansea's next Premier League fixture now as he brings off captain Ashley Williams.
70'
Pozuelo has scored a goal for Swansea City! Assist by Michu.
GOAL! Swansea 5-0 Petrolul. That's five for the hosts! Swans substitute De Guzman has a hand in the goal as he plays in Michu to set up Pozuelo, who chips over the onrushing goalkeeper with aplomb.
69'
J. de Guzmán enters the game and replaces J. Shelvey.
68'
Geraldo Alves gets yellow.
Ugly challenge by Geraldo Alves on Hernandez and he picks up the first yellow card of the game.
65'
It must be said, Petrolul have been very poor tonight. But credit to Swansea also, as they have played some neat football and their attackers have been clinical in front of goal.
62'
The most surprising thing is Swansea have not eased off yet, despite leading 4-0. Will they score a fifth, like Spurs?
61'
Pozuelo enters the game and replaces W. Routledge.
Well, Routledge will not be able to claim his hat-trick as Laudrup has brought on Pozuelo in his place. Standing ovation for the winger as he leaves the pitch, and deservedly so.
58'
W. Bony has scored a goal for Swansea City! Assist by Michu.
F. Doré enters the game and replaces H. Younès.
GOAL! Swansea 4-0 Petrolul. There we go, the home side grab a fourth goal of the night! Bony just about pokes the ball underneath the goalkeeper from Michu's cross, and Petrolul watch in despair as the ball slowly crosses the line.
57'
N. Priso enters the game and replaces D. Boudjemaa.
53'
SHOT! Michu shoots on the volley from inside the box but he could only fire the ball marginally wide of the post. I can sense another Swansea goal coming.
51'
Late challenge from Shelvey on Mustivar. The referee needs to keep an eye on both sides as there has been some late tackles.
50'
SHOT! Petrolul try to respond as Camara goes for goal with a low effort but it bounces wide. That's the closest they have came to scoring.
49'
SHOT! Hernandez beats his man inside the box and tries to curl the ball into the top corner but it goes narrowly over.
46'
Abel Camará enters the game and replaces O. Hoban.
The visitors get the action back underway.
CROSSBAR! Swansea almost score a fourth! Bony picks up the ball from Hernandez and his powerful effort from close range hits the goalkeeper and up onto the underside of the bar. Very close.
One change at the Liberty Stadium. Petrolul coach Contra has brought on Adrian Cristea for Ovidiu Hoban.
45'
The referee blows his whistle to bring the first 45 minutes to an end.
43'
Contra continues to prowl his technical area in sheer exasperation at the way his team have played in this first half.
41'
Hernandez, who has been brilliant so far, combines with Rangel and cuts the ball back for Bony in the box. But the striker fails to get his foot around the ball and fires wide from close range.
40'
CHANCE! Michu plays a great through ball for Routledge, who times his run to perfection but misses the chance to claim his hat-trick as he lifts the ball over the crossbar with only the goalkeeper to beat.
37'
Very nice little turn from Grozav on the right but he is fouled by Angel Rangel. Hoban takes the free kick.
34'
Swansea have lost a little bit of their momentum but are still in control of proceedings. Neil Taylor tries his luck from range.
31'
And just as I say that, Teixeira finds some space outside the area and decides to go for goal. But it goes horribly wrong and his 'shot' drifts well wide as Vorm remains redundant.
29'
Grozav tries his luck at goal, before Hoban fires a weak effort wide. Petrolul don't look likely to threaten this half.
27'
So after a frantic 10-minute spell, Swansea are one step closer to making the group stages of the Europa League. This could turn into a rout!
25'
W. Routledge has scored a goal for Swansea City! Assist by Pablo Hernández.
GOAL! Swansea 3-0 Petrolul. Total domination from the hosts! Swansea break forward and Hernandez clips a perfect ball towards Routledge from the left and the winger finishes with a diving header for his second of the night.
22'
Michu has scored a goal for Swansea City!
GOAL! Swansea 2-0 Petrolul. Jonjo Shelvey's brilliant cross to the far post is kept in play by Hernandez and after his effort is saved, Michu is on hand to poke the ball into the roof of the net.
18'
Swansea look confident after that goal and are starting to create some promising chances. It also seems to have slightly unnerved the Romanians.
16'
The goal has been awarded to Routledge despite the deflection off Ovidiu Hoban. It was a needless error from the defender, as the ball was travelling safely into the arms of the goalkeeper.
14'
W. Routledge has scored a goal for Swansea City! Assist by J. Shelvey.
GOAL! Swansea 1-0 Petrolul. The hosts have been threatening to score and have taken the lead through Wayne Routledge. Michu and Williams dummy a low free kick into the box and the winger beats Pecanha courtesy of a deflection.
10'
Routledge's cross from inside the box is headed behind for a corner. Good defending from the visitors. Not a whole lot is happening at the moment.
8'
Routledge chases a long pass down the left-hand side, but Sebastian Achim gets back well to draw a foul out of the Swansea winger.
6'
Angel Rangel's inviting cross from the right is cleared away by Alexandru Benga.
5'
Swansea nearly create an opening through Hernandez, but it's well defended by Petrolul.
2'
Both sides exchanging passes in midfield during the opening stages here.
1'
We are off! Swansea get the game underway.
Hello and welcome to Goal's LIVE text commentary for the first leg of this Europa League qualifier between Swansea City and Petrolul Ploiesti. My name is Tom Etherington (@tom_etherington) and I'll be guiding you through all the action at the Liberty Stadium this evening.
The Swans are taking to their first European adventure, following their League Cup success last season, and made the best possible start to their campaign in disposing of Swedish side Malmo 4-0 over the course of two legs at the previous stage.
But Michael Laudrup's side were brought back down to earth with a 4-1 defeat to Manchester United in their opening Premier League fixture on Saturday and will want to get back to winning ways tonight.
Meanwhile, Romanian side Petrolul Ploiesti hammered Vikingur 7-0 on aggregate in their first European game of the campaign, before edging out Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem 3-2. Cosmin Contra's side are also unbeaten domestically, having drawn three and won two of their opening five matches.
The team news is in so let's take a look at those starting line-ups...
PETROLUL PLOIESTI SUBS: Bornescu, Priso, Romario, De Lucas, Abel Camara, Dore.
Elsewhere, the final whistle has just gone in the first leg tie between Dinamo Tbilisi and Tottenham and it has ended 5-0 to the Premier League outfit after goals from Andros Townsend, Paulinho, Danny Rose and two from Roberto Soldado.
So Laudrup has named a strong starting XI for the game, with £12 million club record signing Wilfried Bony up front. The Ivory Coast international scored after coming off the bench at the weekend, adding to his two strikes against Malmo. Nathan Dyer is missing after picking up a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, the highly-rated Gheorghe Grozav, who scored the decisive goal in Petrolul's 3-2 win over Vitesse, starts for the visitors.
The teams are emerging from the tunnel ahead of kick off. We will be underway shortly...

Swansea lead at the break after completely dominating the first half. Wayne Routledge netted either side of a Michu goal to give the hosts a commanding 3-0 lead.
Petrolul have offered little going forward so if Swansea can keep a clean sheet, this tie is done and dusted before the second leg next week.
What did you make of that first half performance from Swansea? Is it game over for the Romanians? Let me know your thoughts on Twitter via @tom_etherington.
Wayne Routledge should have his hat-trick already. He only had to place the ball to the side of the onrushing goalkeeper but tried to lift it over him instead. I do expect him to net a third in the second half though.
Swansea have had a massive 70% of possession so far, while Petrolul have had just three shots on Vorm's goal.
The two teams are back out for the second half.
Swansea claim a convincing victory over Romanian minnows Petrolul after goals from Michu, Wilfried Bony, Pozuelo and two from Wayne Routledge. Petrolul striker Gheorghe Grozav netted the best goal of the night though with a superb overhead kick, which drew warm applause from all four sides of the Liberty Stadium.
The Premier League outfit dominated from start to finish and can now look forward to next Friday's group stage draw with confidence. Like Spurs, who they face on Sunday, they can rest easy ahead of the second legs.
That's all from me Tom Etherington (@tom_etherington). Thanks for joining Goal's LIVE coverage. Goodbye.
