And Norwich's misery is compounded with a fine strike from Rooney to complete a splendid display from the England striker!

M. Turner gets yellow.
79'
So United look as though they're coasting here, with the visitors doing all they can but ultimately looking like they will come off second best.
76'
S. Kagawa has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by W. Rooney.
GOAL! It's Kagawa again!
Michael Carrick delivers a pass down the channel and Rooney beats Sebastian Bassong to the ball. The England man then cuts inside the defender and selflessly squares for Kawaga to roll his effort home.

E. Bennett enters the game and replaces R. Snodgrass.
T. Cleverley enters the game and replaces Anderson.

Javier Garrido gets yellow.
Our man in Manchester, Jeremy Butler says: 'Norwich are making a game of this but United still looking the more likely to score again. Not much of a watch though with few chances.'

D. Welbeck enters the game and replaces R. van Persie.
Van Persie comes off without having scored, although he did get an assist. All set for Tuesday night!
64'
Rooney wastes a chances as he makes a surging run but fires his effort way wide.
61'
Norwich have improved in this second half and are restricting United to fewer chances, whilst at the same enjoying some of their own, mostly from corners and set-pieces.
58'
Another header from Bassong this time floats off target.
55'
The visitors threaten ever so slightly but De Gea collects Bassong's tame header.
52'
CHANCE! Great pass from Kagawa to Rooney as he threads the ball 30 yards. Rooney's touch appears to take him past Bunn but the keeper's outstretched leg takes the ball away.
49'
Manchester United are actually unbeaten in their last 42 league matches when winning at half-time (40 wins, 2 draws). And they've started this second 45 with confidence once more.
45' +3
R. Snodgrass gets yellow.
45' +1
S. Kagawa has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by R. van Persie.
GOAL! Kagawa fires home a volley!
Van Persie had just missed an earlier chance but was instrumental here as he flicked up Valencia's cross, with Kagawa receiving the ball to give the hosts a deserved lead. They haven't been at their best - but they have completely run Norwich ragged.
39'
Kudos to Turner so far. The away side's centre-back has dealt with Rooney very adeptly. This time, the England man tries to skip past him but he sticks a leg out to stop him.
36'
The visitors clear another corner here. It's telling how many set-pieces the hosts have had, but it's also telling how many they've failed to capitalise on (all of them).
35'
SHOCKER! A Van Persie shot does NOT hit the target! Instead, he's rifled an effort from the edge of the box right into the stands.
34'
United demonstrating their fluid passing up front as a well-organised move ends with Rooney having a shot blocked by Martin. Kagawa was influential in the build-up again, and so too Valencia.
31'
Another chance for Rooney as the hosts get closer and closer. I can't remember a Norwich chance so far... Perhaps because there hasn't been one of note!
28'
Rooney is coming alive, here as he has another shot blocked by Turner. Kagawa's creativity is really helping him today. And let's not forget Van Persie. The attacking triumvirate are making life difficult for the visitors.
25'
Nemanja Vidic heads a corner over! United getting closer.
22'
United attempting what they can when they can - be it through set pieces or crosses, but Norwich holding them back effectively thus far.
19'
Bunn picks a loose ball up after an attacking move involving Kagawa and Rooney.
16'
Our man at Old Trafford Jeremy Butler has this to say: 'United getting into their flow now. Robin van Persie is played in by Wayne Rooney's return pass but once again Mark Bunn gets out quickly to smother. The keeper needs attention though - and I'm not surprised. Van Persie didn't pull out of that one!'
13'
Vidic gets his head to the ensuing set piece! But the header falls to the right and a Norwich defender is able to clear.
12'
Van Persie wins a free kick for the home side in a somewhat dangerous position. We could see the game's first real chance here.
9'
Norwich gaining a slight foothold but still find themselves with the minority share of possession so far and are very much chasing the game already.
6'
United keeping possession with palpable ease so far here, but still no notable chances as of yet. Will we see an early goal from Robin van Persie, who passed a late fitness test ahead of today's clash?
3'
A frenetic start to the action but no goals as of yet here at Old Trafford.

Good afternoon and welcome to another afternoon of pulsating Premier League action with me Tim Poole! Today, we're bringing you LIVE! coverage of Manchester United versus Norwich, as well as all the other Premier League action here on Goal.com
The first half comes to an end here with Snodgrass' booking following Kagawa's well-taken goal.
Our man on the ground Jeremy Butler has this to say at the break: 'The Reds, possibly with Real Madrid on their minds, laboured through the opening half against a Norwich team content to sit back and stifle. Mark Bunn was alert to snuff out a couple of potential chances. But United will feel relieved to be going in at the break with their noses in front.'
A half that was to be expected from the Red Devils - dominance, the lion's share of possession and a goal to show for their efforts. Join us after the break to see if they can convert their lead into three precious points (temporarily extending their lead over rivals Manchester City to three points).
Four minutes of added time here and we're just going through the motions. A very easy victory for the hosts in the end, although the away side kept them at bay for a good 70 minute or so.
Full time here at Old Trafford and Manchester United have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 15 points. This victory will have done their confidence no end of good ahead of their do-or-die clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday. For Norwich, it's time to dust themselves down and return to the drawing board. A bad day at the office.
