Roma have a free-kick in a dangerous position, and Lamela delivers well. There's a tiny amount of pinball in the box, but the ball is clearly well by the away side. That should be it, I think!
90' +1
Guarin absolutely steams the ball out of play from the free-kick, wasting the opportunity in some style. He didn't appear to be trying to cross it whatsoever, he smashed it out of play instead!
90'
T. Rocchi gets yellow.
We're into added time now, with Inter picking up a free kick from 30 yards out, after Palacio was hauled to the ground. Last chance for the visitors?
89'
Guarin drags an effort well wide, I don't think that either team think that a winner is in the pipeline here. The Colombian has been Inter's star midfielder, by a distance.
86'
I think that by putting Gaby Mudingayi on the field, Stramaccioni might be happy with a point here at Stadio Olimpico, and is shoring up his midfield as a result.
84'
G. Mudingayi enters the game and replaces W. Gargano.
Lamela jinks inside from the right, manages to get a shot away, but puts it just too close to Handanovic! Great save from the Inter goalkeeper, he got down really well to tip that away!
83'
I'm going to stick my neck out and say that Roma look the more likely to grab a winner! Michael Bradley really has been excellent in midfield tonight, Gargano has struggled to keep tabs on the American.
81'
M. Destro enters the game and replaces F. Totti.
PIRIS AGAIN! And he's missed AGAIN! The ball falls kindly to the Paraguayan, who finds himself in space, and he unleashes a devilish, dipping drive at goal - but it dips wildly over the bar! Unlucky!
80'
Oh deaaaar! Terrible from Piris! Bradley slots him through on goal, but the right back has a feeble attempt at Handanovic's goal. That was really, really bad, I don't think I can quite state how bad that effort was. Poor, at best.
79'
Osvaldo does manage to direct a header correctly this time, looking to find Balzaretti at the back post, but the full-back can't quite stretch to get a boot on the ball.. close, but not quite for Roma. They're certainly doing their best to grab a winner!
Minute
Description
78'
S. Handanovič gets yellow.
77'
Goicoechea just about manages to pounce on the ball as Guarin motors directly through the hosts' defence. The Colombian perhaps could have tried to pull the trigger earlier!
76'
Juan Jesus gets yellow.
Bradley has the opportunity to deliver from a free-kick, after Juan brings down Lamela cynically. After initially being cleared, the ball is put back into the Inter area, finding Osvaldo, but the Roma forward nods wide from 6 yards out! Thankfully for him, he was offside anyway!
75'
Lamela cuts inside after being found by Tachtsidies, but stumbles through a couple of Inter challenges before losing the ball. The Argentine hasn't quite managed to match his first half performance.
74'
The youngster Livaja is replaced by Rocchi, who is booed of course, the Croatian has looked brightest for Inter tonight in the final third - on another day he might have taken home the match ball!
73'
T. Rocchi enters the game and replaces M. Livaja.
72'
Tachtsidis spreads the play to Balzaretti, but the full-back gives the ball away, allowing Obi to streak down the field. Nothing comes of it, this is a real midfield battle at the moment, neither side are carving out too many chances!
70'
Livaja goes close again! The Inter forward has been very lively so far, and is unlucky not to have a goal to his name! Side netting this time.
68'
S. Perrotta enters the game and replaces A. Florenzi.
67'
Lamela makes a great run down the right flank, picking out Tachtsidis with a good pass, but the Grecian fails to make anything of his effort.
64'
Chivu makes an important clearance with Osvaldo breathing down his neck! It turns out the Italian was offside, but it was a great reading of the game nonetheless!
63'
C. Chivu gets yellow.
62'
Bradley misplaces a pass, allowing Inter to break, but Guarin overhits a forward pass to Palacio, allowing Goicoechea to race off his line and collect the ball easily.
60'
Guarin shoots from long distance, you don't need to ask him twice! Goicoechea watches it over.. Roma might do well to close him down a little quicker next time!
59'
Livaja has been caught offside again! He should have left the ball to his teammates Palacio, he's wasting good offensive opportunities for his side through impatience here.
57'
J. Obi enters the game and replaces Y. Nagatomo.
Oooh, Livaja is at it again! Castan does really well to intercept the Croatian's effort, as he attempted a cheeky flick at the front post, after a pacy delivery from Pereira!
55'
Juan robs Piris of the ball, but gives the ball away to Florenzi, who in turn gives the ball away himself! Someone needs to grab this game by the scruff of the neck, it's anyone's at the moment.
53'
PIRIS! The Roma defender finds himself in an unfamiliar forward position and stings the gloves of Handanovic with a long-range drive! Roma are getting back into this game again..
51'
Great double save by Handanovic! Lamela jinks his way through the centre of Inter's midfield, before releasing an inch-perfect pass to Osvaldo, but the Slovenian goalkeeper is quick off his line to smother the ball! Totti picks up the rebound, but Handanovic manages to get up to make the second stop!
50'
Á. Pereira gets yellow.
Pereira bombs forward, face mask and all, stretching to get some contact on a Palacio cut-back. Unfortunately, the Inter full-back mistimes his lunge and takes out Marquinhos.. that looked a little rash.
49'
Livaja thinks he's been played in on goal by his strike partner Palacio, but he's miles offside. That's really poor by the Croatian.
47'
Palacio tumbles over in the Roma penalty area after a 20 yard run, but Marquinhos used his strength to win the ball fairly.
46'
P. Tachtsidis enters the game and replaces D. De Rossi.
Daniele De Rossi has been substituted at the half time break, it could be down to injury, or it could be down to getting a yellow card in the first half. Interesting decision from Zeman.
45' +1
R. Palacio has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by F. Guarín.
GOAL! Palacio equalises out of nowhere! Guarin was allowed space to shoot, saw his shot blocked but chased down the rebound, centres the ball and the little Argentine is there to apply the finishing touch!
45'
Inter have grown into the game in the last ten minutes or so, Roma seem to have run out of steam. Zeman's men are definitely still dangerous on the counter though.
44'
D. De Rossi gets yellow.
43'
Lamela gives the ball away in the centre of midfield, with a terrible pass, leaving De Rossi exposed. The tenacious Italian decides to commit a cynical foul rather than risk an Inter counter-attack, and picks up a yellow card for his trouble.
42'
D. Osvaldo gets yellow.
41'
CLOSE for INTER! How didn't that find its way into the back of the net? Goicoechea has another flap at a cross, and Chivu doesn't manage to turn the ball home from a few yards out, before Roma hoof the ball away!
40'
Livaja has really shown some touches of brilliance in this first half! For the first twenty minutes he was kept quiet by Marquinhos, but since he's had the ball to feet, he's been a real menace!
39'
Juan Jesus has his head in his hands! The Brazilian manages to get a glancing header on a corner delivery, but it skips off the turf and past the back post. Balzaretti almost ran across its path and turned the ball into his own net!
38'
Ooh! Now it's Osvaldo's turn! The Roma striker manages to find some space, but drags his effort well wide, it had Handanovic worried though!
36'
Marko Livaja almost nets an equaliser in fantastic style! He fires a half volley effort at goal, after an astute turn, displaying great ability. Goicoechea watches it crack off the inside of the post! Great, great effort!
35'
Ooooh! That should've been 2-0 to Roma! The hosts work the ball across the pitch really fluidly, with Bradley applying the final ball over to Lamela. The winger takes a touch, looks to curl the ball into Handanovic's top right corner, but gets it all wrong!
34'
Palacio has a strike at goal from range, probably out of frustration, and Goicoechea is more than happy to watch the Argentine's effort balloon into the stand.
33'
Ooooh! Ranocchia almost scores a freak goal! The centre back looks to cross the ball, but catches Goicoechea out - all the Roma keeper can do is watch it bounce just wide of his back post!
31'
Guarin bursts down the left, but fails to beat Castan, who puts the ball out for a corner. The visitors take the set piece short, but give the ball away easily, allowing Roma the chance to break.
29'
Oh dear Balzaretti! The full back races the length of the pitch, with his only task being to deliver a good cross into the waiting Osvaldo, yet he overhits his deliver massively.
28'
Handanovic is left watching an Osvaldo effort, as the Italian turns smartly to lash a shot at goal. It whistles narrowly over the bar... Roma are turning the screw here!
27'
Inter's first chance comes courtesy of a corner. Goicoechea spills Juan's header at the first time of asking, but managed to pounce on the ball as he fell to the ground.
26'
Roma pick up a free-kick around 35 yards from goal, the delivery is poor but the hosts manage to break down the right and whip a ball into the box. Florenzi manages to get on the end of it, but drags his effort wide.
24'
É. Lamela gets yellow.
A much-deserved lead for Roma, Inter haven't really had a good attempt on goal yet. I do wonder, however, how long the hosts can keep pressing Inter for.
23'
A. Ranocchia gets yellow.
22'
Penalty goal scored by F. Totti for Roma!
GOAL! Totti slams the penalty home!
21'
The penalty was given for a foul on Michael Bradley by Ranocchia. The Inter defender slid it to try and intercept the ball, but completely miscalculated and lost control of his body, clipping Bradley along the way.
20'
PENALTY TO ROMA!
19'
Pereira hoofs the ball long yet again, after good pressure from Roma. Inter are playing into the hosts' hands here, Marquinhos is dominating in the air over the not so imposing figures of Palacio and Livaja.
17'
Gastan heads the ball into touch, as for the first time the Roma defence looks uneasy. Palacio somehow manages to win the ball aerially over Marquinhos, and the ball almost looped over Gastan for Livaja to run onto. That was a nervy moment for the hosts.
16'
Roma are pressing extremely high, Michael Bradley is haring after Inter defenders as though his life depends on it! It's working though, the visitors are forced to launch the ball forward and Roma get it back.
14'
Totti looks for Florenzi with a lovely clipped ball, but the youngster is bundled over in the box by Chivu accidentally. Goal kick is given, and rightly so.
12'
Livaja offers himself as an outlet for the visitors, but quickly is dispossessed and Roma get back in control. The Croatian hasn't been allowed into the game yet!
11'
Osvaldo thinks he's scored, but the linesman's flag is up! The Italian passes it beyond Handanovic, but it won't count!
10'
Balzaretti whips a ball to the back post, after clumsy hold up play from Totti, but nobody is on the end of it. Roma are having the better of the opening exchanges!
7'
Lamela will be kicking himself! The Argentine winger makes to wriggle free into some space in the Inter box, but blazes his first shot absolutely miles over the bar! Handanovic watches it head into orbit, that won't trouble him.
6'
This game has started with a real tempo, Roma seem keen to get the first goal, and they've been extremely unlucky not to do so already!
5'
Ooooh! Roma go close AGAIN! Lovely interplay from Osvaldo and Totti down the left flank allow the veteran maestro to lay a ball across the six yard box, but nobody is there to turn it in!
4'
Ooooh! A chance already! Osvaldo almost manages to stretch and nod a Lamela cross into the back of the net, but it just manages to evade him!
2'
Inter are happy to hold onto the ball in the opening exchanges, retaining the ball well, before lumping the ball upfield, allowing the hosts to get their first touches.
1'
And we're underway!
Good evening and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE coverage of Roma vs Inter at Stadio Olimpico! I'm Simon Harrison and I'll be keeping you up to date with proceedings, in what promises to be a thrilling Serie A encounter!
Roma starting line-up: Goicoechea; Piris, Marquinhos, Castan, Balzaretti; Florenzi; De Rossi, Bradley; Lamela, Osvaldo, Totti.
Inter starting line-up: Handanovic; Ranocchia, Chivu, Juan Jesus; Nagatomo, Zanetti, Gargano, A. Pereira; Guarin; Palacio, Livaja.
As we all know, with Zdenek Zeman sides goals are always likely, so I have high hopes for this match! What could be a gamble, is Andrea Stramaccioni's decision to give Marko Livaja his first Serie A start.
Right, five minutes to kick off! With Roma forever leaking goals, but scoring their fair share, this surely has the makings of a great match. Zeman's men did keep a clean sheet against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia last time out, however.
The teams are taking to the field, with referee Daniele Orsato striding out ahead of them. Great atmosphere, as always, with both sets of fans in fantastic voice!
Well, well, well. What an intriguing first half that truly was! Roma dominate for the majority of the opening 45 minutes, picking up a controversial penalty, but Inter sneak back into the game of the stroke of half time! Zeman needs to administer an inspiring team talk after that sucker punch!
What are your thoughts on Goicoechea's first half performance? He's been far less than convincing so far, looking shaky with any set piece deliveries or crosses. Can't help but think there's another goal in the game for Inter with him inbetween the Roma posts.
Galatasaray have officially announced they have agreed a deal to sign Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder!
That's it, the referee blows his whistle to end proceedings! A hard fought point for Strama's men, after a first half of dominance from the home side! Goals from Totti and Palacio.
Roma might feel the slightly more aggrieved side, as Zeman's men wasted chance after chance, but overall I would deem a draw as a fair result - and Livaja looked quite a player for the visitors!
Thank you for tuning in to Goal.com's LIVE coverage of Roma's 1-1 draw with Inter at the Stadio Olimpico, I've been Simon Harrison and I'll see you all later!
