There will be three minutes of added time at Britannia Stadium and it is Everton who are doing the pressing. Nervy times for the home fans.
89'
Half a chance for Stoke which Michael Kightly balloons high and wide.
86'
Very even is probably the best way to describe this game at the moment. There is lots of commitment and desire on show, but very little in terms of creativity.
85'
M. Kightly enters the game and replaces M. Etherington.
83'
The answer is an emphatic no as Stoke clear the ball with little difficulty.
81'
Another corner for Everton as Stoke clear a free-kick in a dangerous area, can the visitors take advantage?
78'
Everton continue to look the more likely of the two teams to score without creating any real opportunities. Manager David Moyes may be a little disappointed with his side's lack of attacking potency so far.
77'
P. Crouch enters the game and replaces K. Jones.
75'
Concern for Stoke as Robert Huth receives treatment after a collision with Nikica Jelavic. The centre-back has played every minute of the season so far and looks to be OK to carry on in this one.
73'
C. Jerome enters the game and replaces C. Adam.
A. Begović gets yellow.
A draw is looking very likely at the moment, there have been no chances of note since Stoke's leveller and the two defences are definitely on top right now.
Minute
Description
70'
R. Barkley enters the game and replaces S. Naismith.
Everton are still pressing forward and win another corner which again falls to nothing.
67'
Cheers from the Stoke fans as Leighton Baines is forced to move a few steps back to take a throw-in from the correct position. It's all a bit trivial and dull at the moment.
64'
The contest may be finely poised but not much has happened in the last few minutes, some substitutions could well be in the offing if that doesn't change.
61'
Everton appeared to have weathered the storm from Stoke and are now dominating possession. This game is very nicely poised.
58'
Everton win a corner which has to be re-taken following some pushing and shoving in the box, there is more controversy on the second attempt as Marouane Fellaini appears to headbutt Ryan Shawcross, however the Belgian escapes any punishment.
55'
Everton have really struggled since the equaliser and Stoke look like they could soon take the lead. The Potters could really do with capitalising on this pressure sooner rather than later.
52'
K. Jones has scored a goal for Stoke City! Assist by R. Shawcross.
Stoke have started the brighter of the two teams in the second half and have their reward as Kenwyne Jones rises to meet a long ball from Ryan Shawcross and direct a powerful header into the top corner.
49'
Stoke go close to equalising as Tim Howard produces a fine save to prevent Charlie Adam's half-volley from flying into the top corner.
46'
Everton get the second half underway.
45'
There will be two minutes of added time.
42'
Stoke have not offered much of a response so far. Tony Pulis will be disappointed that his side have fallen behind after being the more attacking side for much of the half.
39'
Everton should be 2-0 up, Leighton Baines is played in down the left-hand side by Pienaar, before laying the ball back to Leon Osman, who inexplicably fires wide from six yards.
36'
R. Shawcross is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
The home side fall behind despite dominating much of the last 10 minutes, and it is Ryan Shawcross who is the unfortunate party as he deflects Steven Pienaar's near-post cross past Asmir Begovic and into his own net.
33'
It is Stoke who are doing most of the pressing at the moment, however Everton's defence does not appear too troubled at present. Something needs to change if we are to see any goals in this game.
30'
Stoke come close when Steven Nzonzi's header is well held by Tim Howard. This has been especially disappointing from the Toffees, who have failed to produce the free-flowing football that has defined their season so far.
27'
Stoke win a throw-in deep in the Everton half, if only Rory Delap was playing.
24'
You won't see a poorer first 25 minutes in the Premier League. This has been utterly dismal.
21'
If ever a game needed a goal, it is this one. There has been no spark whatsoever and the smart money is certainly on a 0-0 draw.
18'
Kenwyne Jones fires well over after working a good opening for himself. It could well be on of those games.
16'
Half a chance for Stoke as Matthew Etherington drags a shot well wide from range. Neither side looks like scoring at the moment.
13'
That opportunity has failed to liven up the game however, not a classic so far.
10'
The first real chance of the game comes from Everton as Nikica Jelavic's shot is blocked inside the six yard box. Darron Gibson plays a superb ball inside Geoff Cameron for Seamus Coleman, he pulls the ball back into Jelavic but the Croat cannot convert.
7'
It's all a bit sloppy at the Britannia at the moment, no real chances, and no fluidity about either side's play.
4'
Not much to report so far. Very little in the way of goalmouth action. Slow start at the Britannia.
1'
Stoke get the game underway!
Good afternoon and welcome to Goal.com's live coverage of Stoke City vs Everton. I'm Nicholas McGee and I'll be taking you through the next 90 minutes as the Toffees aim to continue their top four charge with a win at the Britannia Stadium.
The players are out on the pitch and ready for action!
The referee blows to whistle to end one of the worst halves of Premier League football you are ever likely to see. However, it is Everton who lead after Ryan Shawcross inadvertently deflected Steven Pienaar's cross into his own net.
There was almost a fantastic finish as Steven Pienaar dribbled past a few players before skewing a shot wide of the post. A draw is perhaps a fair result from what was a poor game in truth.
So that it's from me as Stoke maintain their unbeaten home record thanks to an equaliser from Kenwyne Jones after a Ryan Shawcross own goal had given Everton the lead. It is a decent point for the Toffees but David Moyes will surely feel his side could have performed much better than they did. Until next time, this is Nicholas McGee signing off!
