That's it, it's all over and Tottenham advance to the next round of the Europa League thanks to decent performance at White Hart Lane. For a spell in the second half it looked as though they could have been in trouble following Zeca's equaliser but goals Clint Dempsey and Jermain Defoe saw them through in the end.
89'
Tottenham are in full control are just playing out the clock with short sharp passes in midfield, like a training drill. Andre Villas-Boas will be pleased with how his side responded to the Panathinaikos threat after the goal.
88'
J. Livermore enters the game and replaces A. Lennon.
87'
Chances are coming thick and fast now as Sigurdsson gets up highest in the penalty area but can't direct Walker's corner towards goal.
86'
Tottenham are looking to punish Panathinaikos now, this Walker raids down the right and turns his man inside and out before he crosses for Defoe who just can't get enough on the ball to force it goalwards.
84'
STAT ATTACK: Jermain Defoe has eight goals in nine starts this season.
83'
J. Defoe has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by A. Lennon.
B. Fornaroli enters the game and replaces C. Mavrias.
GOALLL!!!! It's three for Spurs as Defoe finds the net with a lovely chipped finish over Karnezis. Aaron Lennon does brilliantly to find the striker with a great through ball with the outside of his foot and he did the rest from six yards out. That should be game over at White Hart Lane.
80'
G. Sigurðsson enters the game and replaces C. Dempsey.
79'
That Spurs goal has settled a few nerves around White Hart Lane as they seem to be in control of the game like they were at the end of the first half with the passing game back in sync.
78'
A. Petropoulos enters the game and replaces Toché.
Minute
Description
77'
That goal may be an own goal from Karnezis rather than Dempsey as the ball seemed to be heading away from goal before it hit the keeper.
76'
O. Karnezis is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOAL!!! Tottenham retake the lead as Dempsey heads into the net from Kyle Walkers free kick. The ball hits the bar before coming back to hit Karnezis as the American coasted in unmarked in the penalty area.
75'
M. Dembélé enters the game and replaces T. Carroll.
72'
Jan Vertonghen does brilliantly to stop Toche getting onto the end of Zeca's cross as he controls the ball and clears before the Spaniard get get anything on the ball.
71'
Zeca is starting to pull the strings for the visitors as he's starting to see more of the ball on the left, Spurs need to get more pressure on him to stop influencing the game.
69'
CHANCE!!! Panathinaikos should be leading as Toche misses a sitter as he pokes the ball just wide of the post from six yards out after Kyle Naughton's clearance fell right into his path.
68'
N. Spyropoulos gets yellow.
67'
Tottenham still look out of sync their passing game seems to have deserted them and Tom Carroll who was so influential in the first half hasn't got going at all after the break.
66'
K. Naughton gets yellow.
65'
Defensively Spurs don't look as solid as they were in the first half and Kyle Naughton especially seems to be suffering at the moment against substitute Christodoulopoulos.
64'
Jay Jaffa, reports: "Spurs look a little rattled by that goal. The accuracy of their passing has diminished and they are having to absorb a bit of pressure from Panathinaikos. Fortunately the possession has yet to be turned into the genuine chance the visitors need to test Brad Friedel. The game is on a knife edge."
62'
Tottenham have struggled to get going after the Zeca goal, this time they get into the final third but Dempsey misses Defoe with a simple pass which goes out for a throw in.
60'
L. Christodoulopoulos enters the game and replaces P. Sow.
59'
The visitors waste a good chance to put Tottenham under pressure as Spyropoulos' free kick is far too long for anyone to attack it's kept alive by Triantafyllopoulos who finds Toche, who goes down, but the referee waves play on. The ball eventually finds it's way to Sissoko who blasts over from 20 yards.
57'
That goal seems to have jolted Panathinaikos into action and Spurs are starting to look very edgy on the ball. What a change a goal can make.
55'
Our man at White Hart Lane, Jay Jaffa, reports: "The Greeks have gone beserk around me and in the away end as Zeca gets his head onto Nikos Spyropoulos' deep cross and guides the ball back past Brad Friedel. It could have been 2-0 to Spurs just after the break as Jermain Defoe hit the base of the post, but that has sparked Panathinaikos into life and it is a well taken equaliser. Remember, one more goal sends them through to the knockouts."
54'
Zeca has scored a goal for Panathinaikos! Assist by N. Spyropoulos.
GOALL!!! It's all square at White Hart Lane as Zeca finds the net for Panathinaikos with a superb diving header from Spyropoulos' cross which beat Brad Friedel all ends up. Spurs were warned seconds earlier as Zeca had a shot well blocked by Jan Vertonghen but fell asleep at the back post allowing the Greek side back into the game.
51'
Steven Caulker is so close to getting caught in position by Toche at the back and eventually passes the ball straight to Triantafyllopoulos. Tottenham have looked solid at the back but have to avoid careless mistakes like that.
49'
OFF THE POST!!! Well that didn't take long as Jermain Defoe clatters the post with a left-footed shot after being played in by Clint Dempsey. So close to a second for Spurs.
48'
Slow start to the half as Spurs are looking to find the rhythm again after the break.
46'
We're back underway at White Hart Lane.
45'
Half-time at White Hart Lane and Tottenham lead thanks to Emmanuel Adebayor's 29th minute strike. Other than that it's been a game of few chances, Spurs might have doubled their lead through Jermain Defoe but he missed the target from yards out. Panathinaikos have offered nothing going forward and will need to improve after the break if they want to get anything out of the game.
44'
CHANCE!! Jan Vertonghen rises highest in the area to head Kyle Walker's corner at goal but he just can't get his effort on target whilst under pressure from Loukas Vyntra.
41'
Back to what we had at the start of the game now as they ball is just being knocked around the middle of the field by Spurs and they seem quite content to sit on their lead until half-time.
39'
Ibrahim Sissoko has been impressive for the visitors as he skins Sandro before driving downfield, he looks for support but can't find it from his team-mates and loses possession just outside the box. He needed help there.
37'
CHANCE!!! Jermain Defoe skies a volley from inside the penalty area and it's a bad miss. The ball fell kindly to the England international after Clint Dempsey had met Aaron Lennon's cross but he just couldn;t get over his shot.
35'
Tom Carroll's quietly having a strong game for Spurs in the middle of the park, as the ball seems drawn to him. Every time they go forward it's Carroll driving them on.
33'
OH DEAR!! Panathinaikos string some passes together in the final third of the pitch but when the ball finds Pape Sow he takes it upon himself to shoot miles over the bar.
31'
Tottenham go on the attack again as Emmanuel Adebayor feeds Jermain Defoe who pokes the ball to Clint Dempsey on the edge of the box but he loops his shot well over the bar. Fortunately for the American Defoe was offside so that miss shouldn't haunt him.
29'
E. Adebayor has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by C. Dempsey.
GOALLL!!!! Tottenham take the lead and it's Emmanuel Adebayor who's got the goal as he slots the ball past Karnezis from close range after latching onto Clint Dempsey's through ball. Nice clinical finish from the striker.
Finally Tottenham get the ball to the Togo striker in a decent position in the final third and it pays dividends.
26'
Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor haven't been in the game so far as Spurs haven't been able to get any service to them. Perhaps Andre Villas-Boas will have to mix his tactics up to get them going.
25'
STAT ATTACK: Panathinaikos have lost three and drawn one of their four previous matches in London.
24'
Clint Dempsey tries an ambitious effort from 35-yards which travels well over the bar much to the frustration of his team-mates after some nice build-up play between the American and Tom Carroll.
21'
Panathinaikos should be in lead as Giourkas Seitaridis fires a free kick towards the near post which Toche latches onto but he can't make good contact and Brad Friedel makes the save.
20'
Emmanuel Adebayor doesn't quite look up to the speed of the game as his pass to Jan Vertonghen goes straight to Ibrahim Sissoko, the Dutchman is forced to haul down the striker and concede a free kick.
18'
Half-chance for Tottenham from a free kick as Clint Dempsey is fouled outside the area but Kyle Walker blasts the ball straight into the wall and the ball is easily cleared.
16'
Panathinaikos are playing extremely deep as Jan Vertonghen is allowed to bring the ball up past the halfway line before he's put under any pressure. Luckily for the visitors his ball to Jermain Defoe is just overhit.
15'
Clint Dempsey and Emmanuel Adebayor are so close to linking up well down the left to present the American with a chance at goal but the ball just doesn't fall for him outside the box. Better from Spurs.
11'
The game is very much being played in the middle of the park and as soon as either team gets into the final third their attacks break down. Better precision needed from both sides.
9'
Oooo Kyle Naughton does well under pressure to control the ball first time in the air as Mavrias looked to find the run of Toche over the top.
Our man at White Hart Lane, Jay Jaffa, says: "The atmosphere at White Hart Lane is one of the best I've seen this season so far - I know, it doesn't take much. However, as the Panathinaikos fans indulge in some back-and-forth baiting with each other, the Spurs contingent burst into a "Champions of Europe, you're not anymore" gibe aimed at Chelsea. Spiky."
7'
Tottenham's first real forray into the Panathinaikos box and the Greek side do well to clear as Emmanuel Adebayor looks to find Clint Dempsey but Gioukas Seitaridis is there to head the ball to safety.
5'
A lot of sideways passes from the Spurs midfield so far and with reason as when the ball's gone up to Emmanuel Adebayor he's been hustled off it. Signs of rust following his three game suspension.
3'
Tottenham are keeping possession at the back nicely and are looking o build-up patiently as Steven Caulker and Jan Vertonghen are seeing a lot of the ball in these early stages.
2'
End to end stuff so far as both sides struggle to keep possession as Sandro loses the ball for Spurs high up the field then Vitolo hits an over ambitious pass to Toche which Steven Caulker easily intercepts.
1'
We're underway at White Hart Lane.
