Tonight's game will be Borussia Dortmund's third match inside six days but Jurgen Klopp's side have coped well with the fixture list so far and have won their last four games.
Dusseldorf who won their last match 2-0 against Hamburg, are currently 14th in the league table and a win would see them move up to 11th.
Half-time here in Dortmund. The home side have been mostly in control of the game with Dusseldorf clearly sitting back and waiting to hit Dortmund on the counter-attack. Dortmund deserve to be ahead through Blaszczykowski's great finish and the visitors will have to get more of the ball if they want to get back into this one. Join us in 15 minutes to see what unfolds in the second half!
Robbie Kruse thinks he has made a great run forward to catch Dortmund off-guard. However, the linesman flags for offside against him and the ball is back with the home side.
Dortmund's first eleven looks like this: Weidenfeller, Piszczek, Hummels, Subotic, Schmelzer, Kehl, Grosskreutz, Bender, Blaszczykowski, Reus, Lewandowski.
Dusseldorf's line-up is as follows: Giefer, Levels, Balogun, Paurevic, Juanan, Van den Bergh, Bodzek, Lambertz, Bellinghausen, Kruse, ilso.
Full time at Signal Iduna Park! The game ends 1-1 and Dortmund will feel frustrated that they could not make it five wins in a row. The home side were the better team and passed the ball around well but they failed to make their superior play count. Dusseldorf were always looking to steal a goal by hitting their opponents on the counter and they will be delighted that their game plan paid off. Thank you for joining us on Goal.com.
