PSG through for their third, but Hoarau scuppers his effort in what was a flowing counter-attack involving him and Ibrahimovic. The substitute's shot edges wide.
90' +1
Bakambu still searching for that first goal, as he delivers the ball into the box, before Thiago Silva efficiently knocks it away from the penalty box.
90'
FOUR minutes added onto the end of this second half.
89'
JALLET! Blocked, and, superbly too. It's Kante who is down, after taking in the severity of the effort, but it's once more a decent move from the hosts, Ibrahimovic the architect.
88'
V. Nogueira enters the game and replaces R. Boudebouz.
Substitution for Sochaux, as Ryad Boudebouz departs for Vincent Nogueira, as we move ever so slowly towards the last few minutes.
87'
Ibrahimovic in space once more, and again checked by the offside flag. Sochaux unable to track his runs, and have relied heavily on the assistant referee.
85'
Corchia does well to evade Maxwell on the left, before switching flanks. Matuidi meanwhile draws a foul off Boudebouz, who is less than pleased.
82'
Gameiro departs to an 81% pass percentage, and a 100% shot success, hitting two shots on target, and scoring his first two goals of the season. Good work from the Franco-Portuguese player.
80'
I. Yartey enters the game and replaces T. Doubaï.
Double substitutions as Ishmael Yartey comes on to replace Thierry Doubai, with goalscorer Kevin Gameiro coming off for Guillaume Hoarau.
Minute
Description
79'
G. Hoarau enters the game and replaces K. Gameiro.
Ibrahimovic slightly struggling to impose himself on the Sochaux defence, with Cedric Kante doing well to marshal the big Swede. Kevin Gameiro picked up on that fact at half-time on Canal - saying that the opposition had focused so much on Ibra, that he took the advantage.
76'
Edging towards the last few minutes of play in the French capital, and PSG lead Sochaux 2-0, with the result far more comfortable than the scoreline suggests.
74'
C. Kanté gets yellow.
A. Rabiot enters the game and replaces M. Verratti.
As expected, it's one young midfielder for another as 17 year old Adrien Rabiot, who made is debut last month against Toulouse - comes on to replace a slightly average Marco Verratti.
73'
Nicolas Sarkozy and son looks on unamused as Bakambu attemptsan audacious, and frankly useless shot from the halfway line. I don't need to tell you where that ended up.
72'
Paris Saint-Germain readying yet another substitution - and this time, it's Adrien Rabiot who is receiving some final instructions from coach Paul Clement.
70'
Peybernes doing well to hold the offside line, as Ibrahimovic latches onto yet another of Verratti's fine passes. He is once again, flagged frustratingly offside.
68'
Abdoul Camara enters the game and replaces R. Contout.
Substitution for the visitors - Abdoul Camara comes on for Roy Contout, as Eric Hely's side make a last ditch attempt to make something of this match.
66'
Just under 25 minutes remaining in this one, and you kind of get the feeling that this match has already been settled. Sochaux not exactly offering much of a threat up front, despite leading on shots.
64'
Good thinking by Corchia, who has improved from the first half. Does well to get into position and pick out Roudet on the far side with a great cross, but the latter cannot control the aerial ball well.
62'
G. van der Wiel enters the game and replaces M. Sissoko.
61'
Wow, just before that substitution, one of the balls had burst and needed to be replaced. Meanwhile, Gregory van der Wiel is on for Sissoko, who hasn't fared too badly in his first game back.
60'
First substitution to be made in this match, and it appears that Mohamed Sissoko will be coming off.
59'
CORCHIA! Superb. Absolutely superb, with Ibrahimovic lurking nearby. A cross from Jallet aiming for the big Swede is glanced just narrowly away by the young defender, just when Ibra was about to go for the scissor kick. I think we all wish he didn't touch that!
58'
BAKAMBU! Wide, and over. But a decent delivery from the corner, Sochaux just not taking the few chances that come their way here.
56'
Verratti concedes a needless free-kick once more, with Boudebouz over the set-piece, about 25 metres out - with Ibrahimovic of all people clearing away for a corner.
54'
Further hairy moments for Simon Pouplin to endure in the Sochaux goal,as Jallet's pin-point teasing delivery almost finds its way to Gameiro, before the goalkeeper intervenes.
53'
Contout fighting hard for control of the ball, as he dispossess Matuidi, before his cross is deflected away by Maxwell. Corner to the visitors, which is subsequently wasted.
51'
Jallet! Can't quite turn it into the net. Clueless as to why the bald-headed captain found himself as a centre-forward there, but he aims to connect with Ibrahimovic's low cross, which is unsuccessful.
49'
PSG would move, as it stands, three points behind leaders Olympique de Marseille with victory. And that's before the two enemies meet next weekend in a ferocious Ligue 1 fixture.
47'
Verratti is a little, dare I say it? Out of it in this match so far, and that's by his own lofty standards. The Italian finds Gameiro in space, and with that trademark chipped pass, the move breaks down thanks to the offside flag.
46'
Underway in the second half, can PSG extend their healthy lead over the opposition?
Good move by the visitors who are aiming to reclaim some of that first-half deficit. Bakambu wins a free-kick off of Thiago Silva.
45' +1
HALF-TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 FC Sochaux-Montbeliard.
45'
One minute added onto the end of the first-half.
44'
The isolated Cedric Bakambu finally gets involved in the match, by bringing down Javier Pastore after the Argentine's cheeky nutmeg on the forward. Don't think that was fair, Ced!
43'
ALEX! Great header, and superb stop by Pouplin. Brilliant jump by Alex who jumps highest in space to meet the header, but the goalkeeper is equal to it.
42'
Poor challenge from Contout, giving PSG a free-kick in a dangerous area. Pastore over it.....
40'
Ibrahimovic slightly being upstaged by his new strike partner Gameiro. Meanwhile, we have a little injury worry on the pitch as Jallet tumbles under pressure from Boudebouz.
38'
Les Parisiens calmly sitting on their first half lead, pinging the ball ever-so-easily around the Sochaux midfield. They can get their third four-goal haul in a row. Wouldn't put it past them at all!
36'
Paris Saint-Germain fans doing the famed Poznan behind the goal in the Boulougne stand. Kevin Gameiro meanwhile has as any league goals in the last half-hour, as he previously managed so far in 2012.
34'
Gameiro stakes a further claim to be included up front more often as he bags a double. Superb cross from Maxwell who coolly went past Corchia on the wing.
33'
K. Gameiro has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by Maxwell.
GOAL! GAMEIRO MAKES IT 2-0! Fantastic first half from the previously snubbed striker, and he roundly doubles the hosts' lead. Great finish too as he slides in a cross from the left past a hapless Pouplin.
31'
M. Sissoko gets yellow.
DOUBAI! Ah, it was a glorious chance to make it 1-1. A corner swung in from the left picks out the midfielder, who rises highest to meet the header. Sirigu comes out, only to be found in no man's land, and the header is forced wide.
29'
IBRAHIMOVIC! Poor, very poor, but given his superb scoring rate, we'll let him off for that one. The big Swede awaits a cross from the right, but tilting back slightly, he fires it way over.
27'
Famous faces in the stands - I love this bit. The camera pans out to show Leonardo, the direector of football sitting next to former President of the Republic Nicolas Sarkozy - the former head of state was instrumental in securing Qatari ownership of the club
26'
Traore receiving some medical attention, after being on the receiving end of yet another tackle, this time from Matuidi. Ibrahimovic grumbles his impatience at play being delayed to the referee.
25'
MATUIDI! Should've been 2-0, and he'll be kicking himself for that. Superb move once more as Ibrahimovic keeps the ball in play, finding Pastore. The Argentine cannot find the shot, as it rolls towards Matuidi at the far post, but his attempt goes inches wide.
23'
Corchia not exactly offering the attacking threat he was expected to impose, as another half-chance falters. Some discontent among the visitors' attacking players.
22'
K. Traoré gets yellow.
Free-kick from Sochaux taken deep, and cut out by Corchia. Sissoko, returning from injury aims to re-start the move by threading a weighted pass towards Pastore, but Pouplin claims once again.
21'
Ohh, Verratti with another dangerous slide tackle to catch out Traore, as was the case moments ago. In fact, it's Kalilou Traore who is booked, as Verratti argues that he was closer to getting the ball. It's a yellow for the Sochaux player.
20'
Pastore goes down under the challenge of Contout, with the former Auxerre player ticked off instead by the referee. Possession surprisingly 50-50% at this point.
19'
Jerome Roussillon becoming a bit of a handful for the hosts to contend with, though is roundly dispossessed after a surging run from the midfield. Verratti meanwhile is penalised for a challenge on Traore.
17'
Eric Hely's men are aiming to exploit Christophe Jallet down the flank, but have a corner. Drilled in from the right, it's Thiago Silva at the rescue, as he hurriedly clears his lines.
16'
Gameiro once more aims to latch onto a Pastore pass from deep, but is once more caught offside. Not exactly sure about that, but he has been the star player so far in this first half.
15'
GAMEIRO! He's on a roll, and he wants his second. Shows great movement to track the pass, but cannot get a clean hit on it as Pouplin claims.
13'
The visitors aren't holding back, and immediately chase the ball in search of the equaliser. Roudet works well on the wing, combining with Doubai, but is unable to force the ball into the six yard box.
12'
Utterly brilliant move from the hosts, and it started from the halfway line, with a chipped ball by Pastore bamboozling the entire back four, as Gameiro brings it down well, and slips the ball over Pouplin. A roar of approval.
11'
K. Gameiro has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by J. Pastore.
GOOAAL!!! KEVIN GAMEIRO BREAKS THE DEADLOCK! He makes a statement to be included in the first team, and his well-taken goal won't work against him either! Fabulous ball over the defence to find the striker, and after shaking off Kante, he chips so slightly over Pouplin! 1-0!
10'
Brilliant once more from the hosts, who cannot at the moment, negotiate past the back-line. Ibrahimovic receives the pass, and intends to use Jallet as a decoy on the right, but opts instead to cut in side before being forced to pick out Verratti, whose chipped pass is cut out.
9'
Bit of danger from Sochaux, who attack through Roussillon. Alex attempts to mark down the winger, who has little chance of maneuvering past the Brazilian, and his cross is wayward as a result.
8'
It's also worth noting that since the introduction of Thiago Silva, les Parisiens have scored eight goals, and conceded just one. PSG are have also not conceded in their last two league games, winning 4-0 and 2-0.
6'
Sochaux have already lost their initiative, becoming contained in their own half. Maxwell seeks out Gameiro with a through ball, and a last ditch interception by Kante cuts it out.
5'
Good movement from Maxwell and Jallet on either wing, supporting the attacking midfielders. An overhit past by the former rolls harmlessly towards Pouplin, but becoming increasingly involved in the hosts' forays.
4'
Pastore gets amongst the attacking ventures, but the Argentine is caught offside by the linesman. Already starting to swing in PSG's favour.
3'
Christophe Jallet bombards down the right flank early on, and crosses in from deep. It evades Ibrahimovic, with Sochaux captain Cedric Kante accounting for it.
2'
Controlled start by the visitors, who attack down the right flank before changing tactics and keep possession. It works well for a while, before the returning Kevin Gameiro latches onto a misplaced pass.
1'
And we are underway in Paris - The hosts in their traditional navy blue, Sochaux in their away white. Wilfried Bien is the referee.
Good afternoon, and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE! text commentary from Ligue 1. This afternoon's encounter sees Paris Saint-Germain host FC Sochaux Montbeliard, at the Parc des Princes in Paris. Confirmed team news shortly.
First of all, let me introduce myself. I'm Mohammed Ali, and I'll be guiding you through today's events for the next two hours. Don't forget to use Twitter to send us your predictions, musings and comments and tell me what you think throughout the 90 minutes - the handle is @mohammedali_93.
Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to secure four consecutive league wins for the first time this season, and are also hitting form at exactly the right moment. A destructive win against Bastia last weekend propelled them to third, and are within sight of Lyon and Marseille at the top. With the Champions League game against Porto in midweek looming, Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping that the job gets done with minimal fuss today.
Ancelotti's side have also been drawn against their arch-enemies OM in the Coupe de la Ligue last 16, with the tie to be played at home on October 30 or 31, with their league meeting next weekend sure to capture imaginations. Statistically, PSG are unbeaten in their last 14 Ligue 1 home games, and in ten of their last league games in succession. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored or assisted eight out of the club's ten league goals so far this season.
Sochaux meanwhile enter this game on the back of two straight wins in Ligue 1, having initially lost all four opening games. Eric Hely's men infamously lost this fixture 6-1 back in April, and will be aiming for a first win at this very ground since 1990. They've failed to win sixteen games here since.
TEAM NEWS
Kevin Gameiro makes his first start this season, having replaced the injured Jeremy Menez, with Pastore just behind the former Lorient striker and Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front. Mohamed Sissoko returns from a lengthy injury to take his place, replacing Thiago Motta, whilst captain Christophe Jallet is preferred to Gregory van der Wiel. For Sochaux, they are at their strongest, with Ryad Boudebouz making an appearance having missed the last league outing. Key man Sebastian Corchia also features.
Five minutes till kick-off at the Parc des Princes. I predicted a 4-1 home win in this fixture, what do you think? Tweet me @mohammedali_93 for your match opinions, predictions and more.
Teams are out, handshakes exchanged, and as is French custom, a kiss on the cheek for either manager. We're ready to go.
CONFIRMED TEAM LINE-UPS:
Decent half from the hosts, and an even better one from Kevin Gameiro who replicates his good form this time last year, with two goals against a limited and average Sochaux side. Join me in fifteen minutes for the second half!
