G. Bigirimana enters the game and replaces Y. Cabaye.
90'
D. Ba has scored a goal for Newcastle United! Assist by Shola Ameobi.
GOALL!!!!!!! Would you believe it? Newcastle have only just gone and equalised through Demba Ba once more. Williamson knocks a hopeful punt forward from the back and Shola Ameobi, on as a substitute, beats Jagielka to it and chests it superbly into Ba's path, who manages to get there just before Howard can and toe-pokes it underneath his dive, with Distin just failing to get back in time to clear off the line as it rolls into the empty net. Scenes. What a comeback.
It's all long ball stuff at the moment as we head into the first of four minutes of stoppage time. Plenty of time for both sides to grab a winner yet.
With litte of note happening in the final few minutes, referee Mike Jones brings an end to a dramatic and quite simply fantastic second half of action, which sees the game end 2-2.
88'
V. Anichebe has scored a goal for Everton! Assist by S. Pienaar.
GOAL! Anichebe has put Everton ahead very late in on the match in what could prove to be a dramatic winner. As Baines takes his throw-in and gives it to Pienaar, the South African's ball into the box to the Nigerian striker sees him take a beautiful first touch on the roll which grants him a couple of yards of space away from Taylor and his first time effort with his left foot finds its way past Harper and into the bottom right-hand corner. Great finish.
86'
Shola Ameobi gets yellow.
CHANCE! Demba Ba plays a lovely ball in for Ben Arfa to run onto at pace and as he has the beating of Jagielka, his low shot is saved by Howard with his legs to his left, but just as it looks as if the winger is about to slot the rebound into an empty net, Jagielka on the slide manages to get a crucial touch to scoop it out of his path and the goalkeeper pounces on it. Great chance to win it at the end there as we go into the final few minutes of normal time.
85'
M. Fellaini gets yellow.
That could have been a red card there for Fellaini as his heavy first touch sees him stamp down hard on Williamson as he tries to win the ball back.
83'
S. Naismith enters the game and replaces Kevin Mirallas.
The game has slowed down a tad, probably shell-shocked from the events we've just witnessed, which to be fair, may have evened themselves out.
80'
Shola Ameobi enters the game and replaces P. Cissé.
79'
S. Pienaar gets yellow.
CHANCE! Wow, that's a goal. Everton have been denied a goal after Anichebe's header is cleared off the line but the replays show that it's gone behind the line before it was cleared after Hibebrt's ball into the box from a free-kick causes problems after firstly Fellaini, then Jagielka nods it across goal. Shortly afterwards, as Newcastle hack the ball clear, Ben Arfa is away at the Everton defence which is stretched, but as Pienaar goes in late on the Frenchman, the ref pulls the play back when the advantage is surely on and the wingers pace should see him in on goal. That's two huge howlers from the officials in the space of a few seconds. Unbelieveable!
76'
Tell you what, both Distin and Jagielka know that they've been in a battle this half with Ba and Cisse up front, with the two strikers physical presence troubling them at times. Makes you wonder why Pardew didn't start them both from the off and what impact that could have had on the game if he had. Shoulda, woulda, coulda!
75'
CHANCE! Osman goes close from the edge of the box but his curled effort goes fractionally wide of the bottom left-hand corner after some tidy work by Fellaini and Pienaar down the left.
Minute
Description
73'
Pienaar rolls Cabaye from a throw-in on the left and his neat reverse pass into the box nearly finds Mirallas, but Taylor manages to see it out for a goal-kick.
72'
Looks as if Anichebe has been mvoed out on to the right wing with Mirallas definitely the lone striker at the moment, with Fellaini just off him, but still a lot deeper than he was in the first half, in a sort of reverse of what Yaya Toure normally does for Manchester City.
70'
Newcastle are well and truly on top at the minute and Cabaye is pulling the string in midfield, with Ba and Cisse's movement causing no end of problems up front.
69'
Crikey, two hoofs in quick succession from both sides create chances, firstly when Mirallas, who has been pushed up front nearly catches Harper out. However, when he hoofs it clear up field, Cisse beats the offside trap and brings it down brilliantly before Distin gets back just in time to force it behind for a corner.
67'
Ba looks to have the beating of Jagielka in the air so far but as Ben Arfa collects his flick-on tries to beat Hibbert on the outside down the left as he breaks into the box, the right-back delivers one of his trademark sliding tackles and knocks it behind for a corner. Good defending, that.
65'
Marvellous piece of skill from Ben Arfa on the left as he glides past Hibbert's challenge but his ball into the box is hooked clear by Distin.
63'
Ouch! Fair play to Steve Harper here as it looks like Anichebe might be in trouble with referee Mike Jones for going in hard on the goalkeeper after he clsoed down Taylor's pass back. The goalkeeper walks up the official to let him know that the Everton striker was simply late while going for the ball and that it was nothing malicious. Sportsmanship does still exist then, huzzah!
62'
CHANCE! Newcastle go close through Ba again after an excellent piece of imrpovisation from the striker sees him latch on to Perch's lovely lofted pass, but his effort on the twist goes over the bar.
61'
DISALLOWED GOAL! Everton think they've taken the lead again through Fellaini, but it's correctly ruled out for offside after the giant midfielder latched on to Pienaar's superb disguised pass from the edge of the box before poking it past the onrushing Harper.
60'
There's another goal in this for both sides as they look like threatening every time they come forward.
58'
Another flowing move from the hosts as Neville cuts out a very sloppy pass from Gutierrez, who plays it to Pienaar who then spots Baines bombing on past him down the touchline and feeds him in, and his dangerous ball in just misses both Fellaini and Anichebe as Newcastle hack clear.
56'
From the resulting corner Fellaini goes down but it looks as if Williamson has just brushed him as he's fallen over and that's never a penalty, despite his appeals. Osman struck the ball well over after it fell to him on the edge of the box straight afterwards.
55'
Great tempo to this game now as Fellaini drives at the Newcastle back four before seeing his strike blocked and turned behind for a corner.
54'
Ben Arfa whips in a lovely looking ball but Howard gets there just before Cisse can and plucks it out of the air.
53'
That's a poor pass from Ben Arfa as he wastes a three vs three break and Hibbert gets back to cut the scuffed ball to Cabaye out.
51'
Bit of a shuffle around with this Newcastle side this half now that Marveaux has gone off for Ba. James Perch has moved into central midfield and Vurnon Anita has switched to right-back. I never knew Perch could play there but there's more urgency about the visitors already this half.
49'
D. Ba has scored a goal for Newcastle United! Assist by Y. Cabaye.
GOAL!!!! Well half-time subtitute Demba Ba has scored just four mintes after coming on. Osman loses out to Cabaye on the halfway line and his pass is perfectly weighted into the striker's path as he has the pace to beat Jagielka to it and he slots first time past Howard and into the bottom right-hand corner with his left foot from just outside the box. Great finish.
47'
Taylor and Williamson have an altogether different threat to keep an eye on this half in Victor Anichebe, who is an absolute monster in terms of size.
46'
D. Ba enters the game and replaces S. Marveaux.
Second half is underway and Everton pressing well off the ball still and nipping at Newcastle's heels.
45'
Everton just seeing the half out here by stroking the ball around and Newcastle are once again chasing shadows.
Just before half-time, Baines swings a ball in from a free-kick on the left but Newcastle nod clear and Mike Jones brings a close to the first half and Everton go in at the break a goal to the good.
44'
V. Anichebe enters the game and replaces N. Jelavić.
Looks like Jelavic's evening is over here as he hobbles off after going down before that last move and effort on goal. Anichebe comes on in his place.
43'
CHANCE! It should be 2-0 here as Pienaar pinches the ball off James Perch who laughably falls over trying to claim he's injured. The midfielder bursts into the box and beats Steven Taylor and tries to curl the ball into the top right corner but it goes just wide. Leon Osman was screaming at him there to play it across goal after he ran on the outside of him there unmarked; a simple ball to his right and that's a goal and Osman isn't happy one little bit.
41'
Fabulous feet from Mirallas on the right as he jinks past Santon and then Ben Arfa before driving the ball low at Harper's near post, but the goalkeeper gets his body behind it and collects. The Belgian international has had an excellent first half so far.
40'
Magnificent from Fellaini there as he plucks a Jagielka long ball out of the sky and onto his chest before laying it off to Pienaar.
39'
Newcastle starting to come into this more and more now and it's Everton who are the ones hacking the ball clear whenever it's in their half.
38'
J. Perch gets yellow.
37'
CHANCE! Newcastle have caused a bit of panic here with a series of blocked shots but as Ben Arfa dances past Hibbert on the right inside the box, his ball across is played into the path of Anita who side-foots it towards goal only to see Baines block it on the line before Jagielka hacks clear. They don't deserve to be level at all, but they should have scored there.
34'
A half-hearted penalty shout for the hosts as Osman wriggles his way past Williamson, but as Cabaye puts in a decent challenge just inside the box, the Everton man trips up over the ball and stumbles over and referee Mike Jones waves play on.
33'
Ben Arfa picks the ball up on the left and plays it inside to Cabaye but they quickly lose it again. I honestly forgot Ben Arfa was on the pitch, anonymous so far.
32'
CHANCE! Hibbert pumps a long ball forward, Jagielka wins it and knocks it down to Jelavic, who in turn plays it back to the centre-half on a rare forward foray and he half-volleys it inches past the right-hand post with Harper well beaten.
30'
V. Anita gets yellow.
29'
Everton bossing possession again and Newcastle are all fight at the moment, but there's little in the way of composure from them when they're on the ball.
28'
CHANCE! Oooof, Newcastle go close to equalising through the aforementioned Cisse, after a bit of head tennis sees the ball work its way to the striker, unmarked about 10 yards out from a slightly narrow angle on the right, but his low volley is screwed wide across goal.
26'
Newcastle just keep pumping long ball up to Cisse, with Distin mopping it all up. They're going to have to try something different sooner or later as it just keeps coming straight back.
23'
Newcastle struggle to clear their lines from the corner and Everton work the ball around well and the lively Mirallas finds himself a yard of space in the box before spinning and firing a low effort straight at Harper.
22'
Everton are flooding forward here and look like scoring every time they get in and around the box as Mirallas plays another neat ball into Jelavic who wins a corner.
20'
The play is down the left side so much that Mirallas has popped up over there to try and get involved. As he picks up the ball from a Baines lay-off, he accelerates past Anita before curling an effort just past Harper's near post from the edge of the box.
19'
Every single move is going to Everton's left-hand flank, as you might expect and Marveaux has barely had a kick in the opposition's half yet.
17'
Newcastle haven't responded all that well to be honest and they're struggling with the tempo at the minute.
15'
L. Baines has scored a goal for Everton! Assist by S. Pienaar.
GOAL!!!! Everton take the lead through Leighton Baines and it's fully deserved. The move looks like it's at a standstill on the left thirty yards from goal as Fellaini pokes it back to the left-back, but quick as a flash, he plays the ball into Pienaar, who back-heels it into Baines' path on the run and as he breaks into the box, surging past Gutierrez, he pulls the trigger and drills it into the bottom right-hand corner past Steve Harper. It's a superb finish and a brilliant goal.
14'
Newcastle finally get their foot on the ball but Everton are pressing well on the rare occasions that they don't have it.
13'
Everton have Newcastle firmly pinned in their own half and it;s's all coming down the left through Baines and Pienaar and the home crowd are sensing a goal is near after a series of decent balls into the box which Newcastle hack clear.
11'
Excellent move down the left involving Baines, Fellaini and Pienaar and as the left-back jinks past his marker and lays the ball across the box, Pienaar's effort on goal is skewed well wide. Bright stuff from the hosts, thig.
9'
Everton in total control at the moment and moving the ball well from side to side, looking to find Baines on the left.
8'
Lovely turn from Osman away from Cabaye in the middle of the park as he lays the ball off to Neville, but Mirallas' ball to Jelavic is wayward and the move breaks down.
7'
Fellaini tries to swing in a cross from the left wing, but it goes out for a goal kick.
6'
P. Neville gets yellow.
Alan Prdew will of course be in the stands tonight after receiving a touchline ban for pushing the fourth official earlier on in the campaign. John Carver dictating the action in the dugout for the visitors.
4'
Jelavic did look like he signalled that he couldn't carry on, but he's still on the pitch hobbling about at the moment.
2'
Disallowed goal for Everton: Mirallas runs at the back four and dinks in a cross which Fellaini scuffs into the path of Jelavic, who pokes home but is correctly adjudged to be offside. The striker looks to have hurt himself on the stretch there and he could be going off here. Big blow to David Moyes' side if he is.

And we're underway and Newcastle are looking bright already, with a nice one-two between Cabaye and Ben Arfa already causing problems.
Hello everyone, my name is James McManus and I shall be running you through our play-by-play for tonight's game between Everton and Newcastle at Goodison Park.
Everton's starting eleven this evening is as follows: Howard; Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Mirallas, Neville, Osman, Pienaar, Fellaini; Jelavic.
There's a couple of changes to the side that lost to West Brom, with Darron Gibson ruled out with a thigh injury, so that sees Phil Neville moved back into the middle of midfield and Tony Hibbert replacing him at right-back. While the most notable inclusion sees Kevin Mirallas handed his first start in the Premier League with Steven Naismith the man to drop out.
Few changes for Alan Pardew's side, with Steve Harper coming in for his his first Premier League game for over a year in place of the injured Tim Krul. Fabricio Coloccini and Danny Simpson both have hamstring injuries which sees James Perch and Mike Williamson at the back.
The big news is, though, that Demba Ba has been dropped to the bench and Sylvain Marveaux has been handed just his second Premier League start out on the right wing.
A few facts to bring you then folks - Everton have won five of their last seven meeting with the Magpies on home soil.
Everton won this very same fixture last season 3-1, with Pienaar, Jelavic and Heitinga among the goals. Speaking of Jelavic, he's got 10 goals in 16 Premier League games so far and a record of 40 goals in 61 games in Britain when you factor in his spell at Rangers. Impressive, that.
Newcastle have yet to win a game in their last 25 attempts after conceding the first goal, drawing seven and losing 18. Everton on the other hand have won 21, drawn seven and lost one of their last 29 fixtures during which they managed to score the first goal. In short, if David Moyes' side grab the opener, it's game over.
Everton have also won their last five home matches and their defeat away at West Brom ended an 11-match unbeaten run also dating back to last season. Newcastle, though, have won just two of their last seven league matches. It certainly promises to be an intriguing encounter.
We're almost underway, just the handshake rituals to go through. Thankfully, no controversy here.
The two mascots tonight both have '96' on the back of their shirts, one in an Everton kit and the other in a Liverpool one, while Trevor Hicks and Margaret Aspinall are both in the crowd tonight. Very nice touch as the crowd applauds a tribute to those that died during the tragedy.
A half-time update from our man at the ground tonight, David Lynch: "An utterly dominant performance from Everton sees them go in 1-0 up. The Toffees have been in charge from the first minute and fully deserve their lead but quite how Alan Pardew can turn this around at the break will be beyond most observers."
Everton were absolutely superb that first half and should be more than one goal up at the break. Baines and Pienaar have combined superbly down the left, while Mirallas has been a constant threat wherever he's popped up around the pitch. Fellaini and Neville have both been quietly effective too. More of the same will be the order of the hour from David Moyes.
Newcastle have had their moments and spurned two great chances, first through Cisse and then when Anita had an effort cleared off the line, but for the most part, they've been second best and struggled to keep hold of the ball.
Will be interesting to see how long Alan Pardew waits to bring Demba Ba on. Papiss Cisse has looked isolated at times all up there on his own. Hopefully the second half is as good as the first, as that was a corker.
Well, what a game that turned out to be for the neutral. It had everything - controversy, a wrongly disallowed goal, two late goals and some great finishing. Everton will be disappointed that they weren't able to see the game out after grabbing a late lead through Victor Anichebe, but Demba Ba's two goals will make the headlines and it's hard to think that he was left out of the starting line-up by manager Alan Pardew from the start. What a game!
Our man at the game David Lynch delivers a very different verdict on the Demba Ba introduction: "The end of an incredible match at Goodison Park, one which truly lived up to its billing. Everton fully deserved their first-half lead but were more than match by Newcastle in the second. Demba Ba will, of course, get all the praise, but what of Alan Pardew's tactical and personnel changes at the break? Inspired."
Well that brings an end to our LIVE play-by-play for Everton-Newcastle this evening in a game that lived up to its pre-match billing. Both sides will feel that they deserved the win, with Everton the better side in the first half and Newcastle the second, but that crucial and wrongly disallowed goal from Anichebe looks to have cost David Moyes' side all three points in a pulsating, end-to-end encounter.
