Belgian First Division: Beerschot 3 Standard Liege 2
Beerschot notched a third straight win in the Belgian First Division with a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Standard Liege.
Elimane Coulibaly put hosts Beerschot ahead after 33 minutes at Olympisch Stadion in Antwerp.
Standard were level five minutes after the interval when Yoni Buyens set up Nigerian forward Imoh Ezekiel for his third goal of the season.
And the visitors looked to be heading for their fourth win of the campaign when Ignacio Gonzalez breached the Beerschot defence to give his side the lead.
But Andrie Koster's men were back on level terms thanks to Joachim Mununga's 76th-minute strike, before Coulibaly completed his match-winning display with a second goal four minutes from full-time.
The win lifts Beerschot into ninth place on the standings, with Koster's side having now overcome a lacklustre start to the season that saw them fail to pick up a victory from their opening four games.
Standard slide to seventh on the back of a second consecutive defeat.
