Europa League: Dynamo Moscow 1 Stuttgart 1 (agg 1-3)
Vedad Ibisevic starred again to propel Stuttgart into the group stages of the Europa League with an aggregate victory over Dynamo Moscow.
The Bosnian scored the opener in the second leg of the tie on Tuesday night with a powerful finish on 64 minutes, as Stuttgart eventually settled for a 1-1 draw at the Arena Khimki in Russia after taking the first leg 2-0.
In a fiercely-contested match, Alexander Kokorin hit back for Dynamo from point-blank range in the 78th minute but the Russian side still required another three goals to clinch the tie.
Ibisevic was influential in the first leg scoring both goals, and was the man again when he ran onto Christian Gentner's long pass and beat the goalkeeper one-on-one with a powerful finish.
Dynamo's Kevin Kuranyi spurned an early chance against his old side before Kokorin failed to convert from two separate chances in the first half.
Moscow had a penalty turned down just before the interval and hit the woodwork soon after it but eventually lost their impetus after Ibisevic's spirit-breaking goal.
Kokorin finished a sweeping move for Dynamo but other than the two goals there were few clear cut chances in the second half.
