PSV Eindhoven comfortably defended their second place in the Eredivisie, beating a ten-man Heracles Almelo 4-0 at Philips stadium.
Heracles keeper Martin Pieckenhagen was given a red card for kicking Ola Toivonen in the 28th minute, and Heracles would never manage to recover from that blow.
PSV went ahead in the last minute before half time, as Ibrahim Afellay found his way past a defender before beating substitute goalkeeper Telgenkamp for 1-0.
Five minutes after the break, it was Balazs Dzsudzsak to make it 2-0. Toivonen added a third in the 62nd minute and Jagos Vukovic hit the target for 4-0 with three minutes to go.
