Ajax Amsterdam scored five goals in the first half against SC Heerenveen to cruise to a very comfortable 5-1 victory.
Demy de Zeeuw volleyed home from a Vernon Anita pass in the 7th minute, and went on beat keeper Nielsen again in minute 24.
Four minutes later, it was Marko Pantelic to make it 3-0 and Luis Suarez converted a penalty after being brought down by Oussama Assaidi in minute 35.
A strike from Goran Popov set the score to 4-1 in the 39th minute but Ismail Aissati immediately reacted by restoring the original gap from a Suarez assist.
