Bolton Wanderers vs. Everton

The Wanderers raced into a two goal lead through Chung-Yong Lee and Gary Cahill.

But Everton hit back either side of the break through Louis Saha and Marouane Fellaini, with debutant Lucas Neill the provider on both occasions.

Everton arrived at the Reebok Stadium following their humiliating 5-0 loss away to Benfica while The Wanderers were hoping to take away their first home win of the season.

Bolton duly capitalized at 17 minutes as Sam Ricketts cross was slotted past Howard by the unmarked Lee Chung-Yong for his second league goal for the club.

The Toffees were a stiff struggle, but Neill advanced from the defense, and played a pinpoint 40-yard ball forward that no Bolton defender could cut out. The ball then found Louis Saha, who smashed a 30-yard effort straight at Jaaskelainen who was left stunned and with no chance.

Everton finished the first half the stronger side and having emerged for the second looking similarly purposeful, drew level within ten minutes of the restart.

Neill again was involved, picking out Marouane Fellaini on the edge of the box. The Belgian manufactured half a yard of space away from Gary Cahill and then rifled in a stunning effort which again left Jaaskelainen with no chance.

Everton's comeback was complete, and now the game was anyones. Jo was thwarted by Jaaskelainen before Muamba fired in a shot from 25 yards which was blocked wide by Rodwell.

Jaaskelainen hit a long ball straight into the Everton box and when Davies managed to head it down for Klasnic, the Croatian made no mistake, drilling it past Howard to notch his first goal in English football and Bolton's first home league victory of the campaign.
