Rangers vs. Unirea Urziceni

It was an own goal, oddly enough, that actually put Rangers in front inside two minutes. A drive by Pedro Mendes took a wicked deflection off of Ricardo Vilana and beat Daniel Tudor in the visitors' goal.

The visitors pulled level in the 32nd minute as Marius Bliasco tapped in coolly after Brandán's cross, and Tudor was the man of the hour six minutes later when he stopped a penalty by Steven Davis.

That penalty save was the beginning of what would be a miserable remainder of the game for Rangers.

Four minutes into the second half, Bruno Fernandes' backheel deflected off Kyle Lafferty's legs into the Rangers net to make it 2-1. Matters were worse 10 minutes later when Lee McCulloch's misdirected header off Tiberiu Balan's free kick went past his own goalkeeper, Kevin Thomson.

Another deflection, but not enough for an own goal, sealed Rangers' fate in the 65th minute as Brandán's shot went off of Steven Naismith to make it 4-1 to the visitors.
