Real Valladolid vs. Athletic Bilbao

Markel Susaeta put the Basque visitors in front in the ninth minute when he converted a cross from the right, but they handed Valladolid a lifeline when Ustaritz was dismissed in the 23rd minute for a last-defender foul on Diego Costa.

Fabián Canobbio struck the post shortly after for Valladolid, but they would equalize on the hour mark when Diego Costa slotted home from Canobbio's pass.

The match then got interesting when Valladolid went in front in the 75th minute on a header by Nivaldo, but they also went down a man right after when Alberto Marcos picked up his second yellow.

Bilbao equalized in the 77th minute as Muniain pounced on a loose ball inside the area, and it looked like Bilbao had a chance to win when Valladolid lost Nivaldo to a second yellow shortly after.

Muniain forced a nice save from Jacobo Sanz late on, preserving the draw at the Zorrilla.
