Almería vs. Getafe

The first half went by without either side creating any clear-cut chances at goal. But the second half would prove to be a different story, as Almería went in front just three minutes after the restart.

Argentine striker Pablo Piatti hit a wonderfully-weighted pass into the area where Michel latched on and dispatched a shot low past Getafe goalkeeper Oscar Ustari for the 1-0 lead.

Almería had a couple of other close calls in the second half, but Ustari was up the challenge. Getafe then came close in the 77th minute when Manu del Moral had his shot saved by Diego Alves just seconds after coming on as a substitute.
