Boulogne vs. Bordeaux

Bordeaux controlled the game for long stretches and could have scored many more than the two goals, which came in either half from Yoan Gouffran and an own goal from Yoann Lachor.

Bordeaux were well worth their victory, and dominated the first half. The breakthrough came in the 35th minute when Gouffran met Bellion's corner to send a powerful header into the net.

It might have been two just before the break, but Fernando Cavenaghi's attempted lob came back off the post.

Bordeaux remained on top at the start of the second half and it took a fine save from Valverde to keep out Cavenaghi's 55th-minute shot from the edge of the area. Bordeaux then doubled their lead in the 70h minute when the unfortunate Lachor diverted Gourcuff's free-kick into his own net.

Boulogne had two late chances to get back into the game, but Rame made a double save from Fabien Robert and then got in place to block Lachor's free-kick.

The victory sees Bordeaux move clear at the top of the table, although second-placed Lyon can close the gap with victory at Paris St Germain on Sunday.
