Danny Koevermans once again proved how influential he is for PSV Eindhoven, scoring twice in the second half to lead Fred Rutten's men to victory at FC Groningen.
Not much happened in the first half at Euroborg stadium, as PSV left the initiative to a Groningen side that simply wasn't good enough to take it.
After the break, the visitors increased the pace and took the lead in the 51st minute as a pass from Balasz Dzsudzsak was easily headed in by Koevermans.
The forward added his second with ten minutes to play, this time controlling a Dzsudzsak cross with the chest before powering it past keeper Luciano for 0-2.
PSV are now in shared second place with Feyenoord and Twente, while Groningen are just one spot away from the bottom.
