PSV came back from behind to beat NAC Breda 3-1 at Philips Stadium. The Eindhoven outfit waited until the last half hour to make a difference.
PSV failed to impress in the first half and conceded an opening goal after just eight minutes. Edwin de Graaf beat Timmy Simons and found his way past keeper Andreas Isaksson for 0-1.
Things were different after the break, as substitute Danny Koevermans had a positive influence on the rest of PSV's team. De striker first equalised from a Stanislav Manolev cross in the 63rd minute, and then made it 2-1 with Danko Lazovic providing the assist ten minutes later.
It wasn't a good day for PSV's Mexican players. Carlos Salcido was removed from the starting line-up and Francisco Rodriguez conceded a red card for a violent foul in the 79th minute.
But his absence didn't affect the scoreline. Instead, PSV netted a third in the dying minutes with Ibrahim Affelay finishing from a counter-attack.
