ADO Den Haag did well to earn their first victory of the season, a 1-3 win at Vitesse on Saturday. Vitesse meanwhile, remain stuck in 17th place after four matches.
ADO dominated the game right from kick-off, and took the lead with 18 minutes on the clock. Danny Buijs found Bogdan Milic in the middle of defensive chaos, and the Serbian found space to strike past the opposing keeper.
And ADO entered the break with a 0-2 lead as Csaba Horvath headed home from a corner kick in the 42nd minute.
Karim Soltani made it 0-3 in the 63rd minute, and things got even worse when Vitesse goalkeeper Piet Velthuizen injured himself and had to be replaced.
Civard Sprockel saved some of the home side's pride with a header for 1-3 in the 89th minute.
