PSV vs. Ajax

The away side, Ajax, had a great start as a bad backpass from Carlos Salcido enabled Luis Suarez to pick up the ball and put it past PSV's Swedish keeper Andreas Isaksson.

PSV equalised in minute 37 when a free kick from Balazs Dzsudzsak showed to be unstoppable as it went right through the wall to eventually disappear behind Ajax goalie Maarten Stekelenburg.

Suarez needed only another two minutes to put the guests back in the lead though, this time scoring in the aftermath of a Demy de Zeeuw free kick.

The 1-2 half time score wouldn't last long after the break, as PSV levelled again in the 50th minute. Otman Bakkal received a pass from Dzsudzsak and easily drew things level, 2-2. Four minutes later, it was Dzsudzsak himself to make it 3-2 with a free kick from the side that left Stekelenburg nailed to the ground.

But Ajax were just as capable of hunting for equalisers as their opponents had been on two previous occasions. Suarez provided the final pass that allowed Urby Emanuelson to power the ball past Isaksson for 3-3 in the 58th minute.

Fred Rutten's side would get the victory however. A great pass from Manolev left Ajax' defense unorganized and Bakkal took advantage to score his second goal of tha mtch, 4-3.
