Hamburger SV vs. Borussia Dortmund

Only three minutes had been played of this match when Hamburger SV scored the opening goal. A Trochowski corner kick eventually found its way to Guy Demel, who easily pushed the ball against the net from close range.

A bit more than a minute later however, Borussia equalised as Blasczykowski found Nelson Valdez and the latter headed home for 1-1.

Hamburg restored their lead in the tenth minute though as the craziness continued. This time, a defensive mistake from Jarolim enabled Ze Roberto to pick up the ball. His following shot bounced in from the post.

And the fourth goal, number three for the homeside came another two minutes later. Elia came down the left wing and passed to Guerrero, who struck home from within the penalty area.

Things calmed down from here on but Hamburg did add a fourth goal in the 72nd minute. It was new Swedish signing Marcus Berg who scored on the rebound after a Ze Roberto shot had been parried.

Although some matches are still to be played this weekend, Hamburg are now in first place with four points from two games. Borussia are in eighth position.
