The high profile clash between Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen, played at the Allianz Arena, ended undecided as both teams scored once.
German Cup winners Werder Bremen were first to score in this top clash, breaking the deadlock on 39 minutes. Hunt found his way down the left wing and provided Mesut Özil with the opportunity to shoot it past the opposing keeper from a distance of 13 meters.
But Bayern equalised in the 72nd minute. Lahm sent in a cross from the right wing and Gomez beat Wiese to get to the ball first and score from five meters.
The first signs of pressure will start to show in Munich, as Bayern remain winless after two games. Werder are even worse off, as this point was their first of the season, but the draw at Bayern will be considered a positive result.
