Sochaux vs. Bordeaux

But Charlie Davies' introduction revived Sochaux's attack, just as it did last weekend against Auxerre. The American who would give les Lionceaux a lifeline, combining with Marvin Martin to strike beyond Carrasso and into the net.

As the hosts pressed on for a leveller, Chamakh would step in to deliver an ultimate blow leaping over the Sochaux defence to convert from a Gourcuff corner.

Davies and Sverkos continued to link up well, with the former flicking a header to the latter, who was only denied by a terrific Carrasso save. Sochaux would get another goal back, Davies again the sliding a consolation goal home deep into stoppage time after Bordeaux failed to deal with a corner.
