Nancy vs. Monaco

A clinical first half showing from the hosts, who took the opportunities that came along, saw the Monaco challenge end before the interval.

The rout got worse in the second half, Dia stealing possession away before playing a neat through ball for Paul Alo'o Efoulou, who outpaced Sebastien Puygrenier and beat the exposed Stephane Ruffier.

A fourth goal was further delayed when Dia’s second goal of the evening was disallowed for offside.

But Michael Chretien's cross-field pass picked out Efoulou, who finished calmly, rounding off a stunning victory for the home side, and firing the side to a top spot for the evening.
