Tottenham Hotspur still have a good chance of playing European football this year, following a 2-1 win over Manchester City at White Hart Lane.
Spurs took the lead after 29 minutes. Tom Huddlestone reached Jermain Defoe in the penalty area and the latter tapped in from close range.
City levelled five minutes after the hour when Valeri Bojinov's strike left Gomes beaten, but Robbie Keane secured the victory from the spot with five minutes to go. The penalty had been caused by a Micah Richards foul on Frazier Campbell.
Manchester City won't be happy with the result, as a draw was certainly possible based on the way they played in London.
