Stoke City are likely to have won the battle for 11th place in the Premier League, following a 2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
It took long for the score to be opened, but eventually it was Stoke to do so. Ricardo Fuller struck from inside the penalty area and left reserve keeper Kingson without a chance.
And the second goal came minutes later as Jamies Beattie headed home from a Matthew Etherington cross.
The three points were deserved as Stoke were the more motivated side throughout the game.
