Fulham moved into seventh place in the Premiership following a narrow but sufficient 1-0 victory over Stoke City on Saturday.
The only goal of the match came after 29 minutes. Norwegian forward Erik Nevland received the ball from Andrew Johnson and his following effort went into the middle of the goal with Sorensen beaten.
From there on, Fulham continued to dominate and the Londoners created several more opportunities, but failed to add a second goal.
Stoke seemed rather helpless and were hardly a threat to Fulham's defense and goalkeeper Schwarzer.
