Goals from Alhassane Keita helped Real Mallorca to a 2-0 victory over Real Valladolid on Thursday as they continued their climb away from the Primera Division relegation zone.
Mallorca were at the bottom of La Liga just over three months ago following a dismal run of form and relegation was looking a distinct possibility.
However, since losing to Osasuna at the start of February, Mallorca have turned things around impressively and have picked up five victories and four draws in ten league matches.
Three points lifted Mallorca up to eleventh, only one point below Valladolid in ninth and seven points above the bottom three.
