Atlético Madrid vs. Getafe

Atletico had been leading for around the hour mark when a late equaliser gave Getafe a surprise share of the points.

The opening goal came just after the half-hour mark when Giorgos Seitaridis sent over a well-directed deep cross from the right and Diego Forlan, who scored twice against Recreativo, escaped his marker to fire home a left-footed half-volley that Jacobo Sanz, despite his best efforts, was unable to keep out.

With eighty minutes gone Juan Albin missed a penalty for the visitors, but he made amends just before full time when Cosmin Contra's cross from the right appeared to be too deep but Uche hooked it back across goal with a spectacular overhead kick and Albin was on hand at the far post to head past goalkeeper Leo Franco.
