Reggina vs. Lazio

Reggina were first to score when they were awarded a dubious penalty in the fourth minute which Bernado Corradi.

By half time Lazio was 2-1 ahead thanks to Goran Pandev who scored the first two of his three goals in the match within seven minutes of each other. For the first he robbed Andrea Costa of the ball inside the penalty area before firing in a fierce shot. There was good skill from Mauro Zarate in which he beat a number of defenders before crossing to Pandev. The striker chested it down and volleyed home.

The second half was just as exciting as the first. Substitute Francesco Cozza equalised in the sixty-eighth minute when he stuck out a foot from a cross and the ball flew into the net. Reggina tries hard for the winner but left themselves exposed at the back allowing the Lazio three-man attack to score the winner. Another Zarate cross found the feet of Pandev who in turn found the net.
