Sevilla vs. Osasuna

Sevilla were hoping to win to move into second place but complacency had probably set in before the match even kicked off.

For most of the match Osasuna had the possession but could not do much with it outside of their half while Sevilla found it difficult to string two passes together.

In a match that was dominated by Sevilla, they did create most of the chances.

The first goal came just after the re-start when Renato chipped the ball to Gonzalez Jesus Navas who shot past Roberto.

The equaliser came in the dying seconds when Andres Palop parried a powerful Sojaie Masoud shot. Walter Pandiani was on hand to turn the ball into the net.
