Milan vs. Udinese  5 - 1

Report

Before the first twenty minutes had been played in the match, four of the six goals in the match had been scored.

Alexandre Pato opened the scoring as early as the fourth minute when a Giuseppe Favalli cross was headed home. The lead was extended nine minutes later when Kaka was set up by Pato and the Brazilian had the easiest of tap-ins.

Udinese, who surprisingly and despite having fallen behind so early in the match, began well. They were well rewarded four minutes later when Fabio Quagliarella set up Antonio Di Natale. A fierce drive from just inside the area crashed into the far corner of the net.

Shortly before the break, an Andrea Pirlo free kick that had been tipped onto the bar by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was picked up by Clarence Seedorf who put the ball into the Udinese net.

The scoring was completed early in the second half when Kaka scored from just inside the area.

The score line did not do Udinese much justice as they had enough opportunities of their own to score a number of goals.
