Juventus were dealt a serious blow when Tiago had to be stretchered off with a serious knee injury. After an initial period after the first twenty-five minutes, Inter Milan just shaded the encounter.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was nowhere near his best in this match and missed a couple of open chances. However, a mis-hit in the seventy-third minute fell to Sulley Muntari who had the simplest of tap-ins with which to claim all three points for Inter.
