Bayern Munich gave away a comfortable 0-2 lead to be left with just a point at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Italian striker Luca Toni put the Bavarians in the lead on 21 minutes and Frank Ribery converted a penalty five minutes after the hour mark. To earn the spot kick, the Frenchman had been brought down by Gouhouri.
But Borussia showed great flexibility and Friend headed past Rensing for 1-2 in the 78th minute. Three minutes later, a Colautti cross ended up near Bradley and the American's following header had Rensing beaten, 2-2.
